Default do you have IRL friends with Large families?

We dont have any IRL friends with large families close by and sometimes I feel so lonely. Even though im surrounded by my perfect kids I cant help but wish I had friends who also had a large family who could share the experiences with me get together for outings and play dates etc.

Anyone else the same? The only friends I have with large families are online.

I just met a Mama who is pregnant with her 8th! I had no idea they lived so close to us. Our kids really hit it off, so did I with the mom. It sure is nice to talk to someone who can completely relate!
I also have a friend who has 4 kids. But on a daily basis, everyone has 2 to 3 kids.

I know a few families but I would not say they are our friends...although they are lovely people. I just think our lives are sooo busy and hectic...giving proper time to build friendships is very difficult for me...although I make sure its a priority with the children!

There were several large families that we were friends with in WA. It was so nice to have others to talk to who could understand and who loved having large families. While they are still some of our greatest friends they are more than 7 hours away so we don't get to talk or see each other as often. Here we are definitely the minority.

In our circle of friends, we have the most kids, but it works okay for us. The kids generally find someone to play with. I really wish we lived closer to you, Janae, so we could hang out!

I could have written that post. Not that I really have a big family yet. But, most people around me already think I'm crazy and I haven't really told many we plan to keep going. I would love to meet a few big families in my area.

I have a friend with 5 who is a really close friend. I have a friend with 7 that I met through a mutual friend, but we are not close. I have a friend with 3 whose kids are spaced out so that they get along perfectly with my 5 kids. She loves large families, even though she doesn't have one, so she invites us to her home on a regular basis and watches our kids for us on occasion.

I am blessed to live in an area where it really is the norm to have 4 kids or more. My very good friend has 5, many close to our kids' ages, and we do a baby sitting swap with them, even though it is a 45min drive, it is worth it. I have many friends that have 4 children right in our neighborhood, so that is nice too.

I know a few but honestly cupcake7 I think you're probably the best large family friend I have IRL... There are several large families living around here but to be honest I don't think I fit in very well with them. Totally different family ethos and priorities which makes it difficult to have anything really in common with them.
