I first posted on this board when I was preggo with DD (baby #2) because DH has 2 kids from his first marriage, making 4 kids. Well, now I am officially pregnant with our 4th and 6th total! Baby #3 is only 7 months old!! This was a BIG oops, as DH is planning a vasectomy (he actually had the consultation this week (a little late huh...lol).
I now consider us an actual large family (3 at home all the time really isn't much, but 4 I think will be). I'm hoping to use this board for advice...like what kind of car are we going to buy!!!?? LOL I've always lurked here, so I feel like I know some of you, kinda

Anyway, I'm Angela, 30 year old, DH is 35. I have 5 year old Kessin, 3 year old Rowyn, and 7 month old Ian. DH also has 10 year old Andie and 8 year old Brysin. I'm a certified medical assistant in a peds office and am going to nursing school (I delayed clinicals until fall 2012). DH also works full time. We are a very busy family!! As I'm sure you all are too!
Hi! Congratulations on your new little one! I found out I was pg with DS#2 when DS#1 was only 6 months old, and I cried. I wouldn't have it any other way, now. They are best friends. It will be hard at first, but it does get easier with time.
As far as vehicles, we plan to get a Sprinter if we have/adopt any more kids. You can fit 8 in a mini-van with 8 seats (e.g. Toyota Sienna or Honda Odyssey). We love our 8-seat Sienna, but with the 8th seat in, it's kinda hard to get kids in and out, especially if you're going to have to have 4 child seats installed. It could be done, but in the long run you may be happier with a larger van. I like the Sprinter because you can get a 10 or 12 passenger van. And since it's diesel it gets 30 mpg. Maybe some of the other ladies with large families will weigh in on this.

Welcome to the board! I'm in the UK, so probably not the best person to speak to about cars as I use a specially fitted and designed car seat that isn't available in the USA yet!
My Pregnancy.org babies!
Robin (2), Liberty-Hope (3), Lacey-Rose (4), Ashton (6), Raistlin (8 ), Jaeven (10), Tristan (11)
No more babies for us - POF with very low AMH levels, told the only option would be IVF, so am stopping here.
welcome! As to cars... no advice. We just have 4, and everyone fits in our minivan with room for occasional carpooling. But I would like something bigger eventually.

We just drive a minivan and a Tahoe-- but have been researching a Sprinter...I just have to determine whether it can handle our winters. Our Tahoe seats 8, but it would be nice to be able to bring a friend or two once in a while.....
