    Default maybe TTC soon

Oh my. DH said he might want to TTC this summer (there are some work reasons for the timing). I was expecting to have to talk him into it in a couple years. I'm torn. Part of me wants to wait so I can spend extra time with just LO when the older kids are in preschool this fall and possibly regain a little sanity around the house (ha.). Part of me is excited at the possibility. And all of me knows that if he suggests it sometime when I'm fertile I'll agree immediately.
If we did, we'd have #4 when the others are approximately 5 1/4, 3 1/2, and 2. Are we insane? (Note I'm asking that on this board and not one of my birth boards. )

ETA: Oh, and this is all theoretical since I'm still BFing a ton and am not fertile again yet.

How exciting! Our youngest boys will be 5, 3 1/2, and 1 1/2 when this baby comes. So no, it doesn't seem crazy to me!

my first 4 kids have 17 months in between each of them....then I took a few years off....then my next ones I spaced about 2 years between each...a little less. my ages are 13, 12, 10, 9, 6,5,31.5, and my new baby is due in June...so I do not find this crazy at all. Will it be busy? Yes! But you will do great!

Not crazy at all! My oldest had just turned 5 a couple weeks before my fourth was born. And now I'm expecting my fifth in seven years.

    Doesn't seem crazy to me-- but I had 4 in 6 years, too.....right now they are 2,4,6 & 8.

I gave up sanity a long time ago. Good luck with your decision!

Thanks, ladies. In my area most moms with 3+ kids either send them to daycare or have a nanny... even if the mom stays home! I even know some moms with only 2 who do that. I think I know only 2 women with 4 kids and none with more than 4. I'm told on almost a daily basis I must be crazy to have 3 little boys (like I had a choice and girls would somehow be easier). So it's nice to get a different perspective!
We'll see what happens. At least I know we'll have #4 someday.

How exciting! My LO's are all about 3 years apart... I find that's the best (at least for me!). That way I get to enjoy them being little before the next one comes! It's funny though, only my first and third babies were planned, the others just happened! It totally has to be your decision, whenever you finally feel comfortable. Are you hoping for a girl this time around? If so, check out this book below, I swear this is how I got my one princess (and BTW, DH has two sons from a first marriage, so we have FIVE boys total!)!!

Krystal - I go back and forth. Sometimes I really want a girl and sometimes I just want a house full of boys. I've read the Shettles stuff (and my aunt tells me about it every time I have a boy). I'm not sure it would work for us because I usually have a week of EWCM before O. We'll see how I feel when the time comes. I might give it a try.
