Not Giving Up!

On to a new cycle! I know my CD1 begins when AF arrives, but for me, I always think of my cycle starting once it stops as that is when it all begins again- waiting to O, the 2ww, POAS millions of times hoping for a faint second line to show up!

I thought I would give up after this emotional roller coaster, but I can't bring myself to quit. We had been "not trying, not preventing" which is kinda like saying "trying without the pressure" for us, for a while now. I am hoping that January is my month!

I would recommend taking a B-50 complex every day. I had a slight LP deficiency, I believe based on spotting for a day or two before AF. The B-50 seems to have really helped me out. Other than that, just relaxing and letting it happen if it's going to happen. Fingers and toes crossed for you still!

I will buy some today Deb, thanks- I remember now you mentioning it last cycle. My LP's aren't as long as I think would be beneficial to give the little bean a chance to stick. And I do spot regularly before AF arrives. How many days did it extend yours for?

Rachel-thanks! I have been jealous of all the mamas on here getting BFP's for the past couple years LOL! I sway back and forth at times whether 5 is in the cards for us or not, but I think my heart wants it to be. DH jokingly has always said "5", but maybe it's not a joke and it will happen!

My cycles had been crazy and I thought I was perimenopausal, but I had gained quite a bit of weight over the past years. Since this January 4, I have been on my treadmill every day and have lost 15 lbs (162 to 147.0) and since I have been exercising, the last 3 months have been much better cycles. I would like to go back to 135 if I can. I am doing a virtual run to Whitehorse, YK from where I live which is 3200+ km away. I have a longing to go North, and I figured "running" there would keep me motivated. I also blog about it and talk about the towns, landmarks, etc as I run through them. It keeps me accountable!

Jan! That is awesome! Congrats on the weight loss! And what a great way to keep you motivated! do you just look at where you would have run that day to blog about landmarks and such? Very interesting!

Exactly! I am folllowing my run along with Google Maps. I use the sattelite view so I can really see the topography and get a more real sense of where I am running. Then I write about it. It's been so much fun, and I have ran almost 300 km since January 4. I guess that is just over 150 miles?? It takes my mind off of TTC too and gives me another goal other than being obsessed with getting that BFP!

When I first had really short LP (11 days), I took B-6, and it lengthened my LP to 12 or 13. Then, over time it improved, but I eventually started getting spotting before AF. So instead of going back to B-6, I started taking the B-50, which has all the B vitamins in it. I had heard that it is better for you to get all of them than to concentrate one specific B vitamin. Anyway, after a couple months, the spotting stopped and I was able to get pg, unlike the 3 early m/c that I think were at least partly attributable to low progesterone levels.
