We have decided neither of us will have anything permanent ever--even after we feel "done". You know I just told people right from the beginning--EVEN BEFORE finding out #4 was a boy, that I would have at least 2 more (the newborn included). Mainly because due to the 2 m/c's I had, the age gap between ds2 and ds3 is too big for what I want my last 2 to be--I don't want one left at home just starting high school when the rest are graduated--I want them 2 years apart or less, not 4. So I want at least one more and to ttc when Oakley turns 1 next January.

Hi Ladies! Feels so good to read this thread! I am in the same boat. I love my kids and if I had more $$$ and DH was healthier (he has RA) I would love to have one or two more. I am thinking about adopting internationally in a few years. Our oldest was adopted from foster care. We also feel like we are not 100% and so will not be doing anything permanent. I love big families.
