Life is definitely different. First, he doesn't have to study any more - it is a huge worry off his shoulders. Second, we don't have to pay for the classes anymore! But for the last 18 months he worked a lot of overtime because we had our old house to fix up , pay mortgage for, and sell it. We lost a bunch of money on it over all, but we saved our credit rating- for what it's worth...Quote:
Asha, I bet life is different with DH at his job instead of school PLUS jobs.....
Yes, I agree with Sara-Jean. I love photos and wish there were more on this board.
After the trip to California, we backed off the overtime considerably and it is so nice to have him home. It is fun!
He is taking up a project of building a play house that is a mini replica of our old house with added architectural features . He says it is for the younger kids and for the older kid's kids- so he is really thinking into the future! :D Our oldest is building a miniature of the play house to scale out of mdf ( kind of particle board) which right now looks like a nice doll house.
All I want is a garden, a better tree house ( right now it is a tree platform- the boys thought it was enough) and improved swings because the ones we have swing in circles giving kids headaches.
Oh, the trampoline is a huge hit now- I guess it had to get broken in- now it's stretchier and they use it as often as weather permits.
Sorry for the ramblings!
