Knocked up here too. Having a baby girl due in July. The kids are all doing pretty well. Isaiah has had a pretty rough couple of years, though. He has been in and out of the hospital a lot. We are planning to put him in a residential facility for a few moths while we sort things out. It is not far from our house, so we will be able to visit frequently. Still, it is going to be difficult. My oldest is going to be a teenager next month. It's hard to believe how fast time flies.

    How are you doing, Heidi?

I havent been on this board for a while, and hope its ok that I pipe in here

I am NOT knocked up lol. Infact, DH has scheduled his vas for next month. I'm still having some mixed feelings about it. We def. have our hands full with the 4 we have now, and I'm not saying I want more, its just sad that it wont even be an option ever again

Other wise DS1 is in the first grade. We just got him signed up for Tball this summer, going to also get him signed up for swim lessons, summer school, and hopefully a summer type camp where they learn a bunch of different sports.

Ds2 is doing great. Becoming a full fledged 4 has proven a good move for him. Today I got really frustrated with him when we went to get in the van to go get DS1 from school. He ran out into the drive way and was playing in the snow rather than getting in. I got upset, and let him know it when I had to go get him and redirect him to the van. When we got home he turned to me and said "I'm sorry mommy". by this point I had forgot about the incident. "I'm sorry that I didnt listen". It was a proud moment knowing that he is connecting his actions with be being upset and feeling bad about it. I said thank you, and told him that I was proud of him for appologizing without having to be asked

DD is still getting over the influenza we had last week. She has been so whinny lately, using more "baby" type talk, and its driving me nuts. I also so can not wait for her to potty train. who ever said that girls were easier was full of it.

DS3 is growing so fast. He is 3.5 months now and such a happy guy. If hes awake, hes usually smiling and laughing. Its so nice to have such a happy go lucky baby (knock on wood). He has started staying up till after 11pm, which is proving to be a challenge. Today I have tried to keep him up more in hopes to get him back on his schedule. I think that me being sick all last week threw him off

We finally got a washer and dryer this past weekend so no more trips to the laundry mat YAY!!! Also, I so can not wait till it gets nice out and we arent trapped in the house so much. I usually love the winter, but having just moved, having a new baby, and so on, has left us stuck in the house. Come on spring lol

Your kids are still very young. If you're not sure, I would hold off and use something a little less permanent. DH almost got a vasectomy two babies ago. We were sure we didn't want any more, but guess what, sometimes you change your mind. The person you are now is not the same one you will be 5 years from now.

By the way, congratulations on the washer and dryer. I don't know how you managed to handle taking all that laundry out.

DH and I have had a ton of conversations over the years about this. He had one scheduled after DD but I just wasnt ready. So, he put it on hold and I went on BC... we agreed to wait till we were 30 to make a def decision. Then, I got pregnant with #4 and he told me he would wait for him to be born, but once he was he was scheduling his vas right away. Well, he finally did schedule it (this was one thing that I was not willing to do for him). I have asked him what he would do if I asked him to wait again, and he said he wouldnt. That no matter what HE is done having biological children. I understand where hes coming from, and its not a decision that hes making lightly. So, I just need to respect it and love the family I have <3

Thank you. Its been a challenge not to have a set here, that is for sure. We had to make a quick move this past fall, and didnt have many options as to where to move. And, none of the places we looked at came with a set. So, we have been going to the laundry mat a couple times a week, or my sister's, to do laundry. The laundry mat has a huge washer that can take like 12 or so loads at once, so that helped us cut down on the # of trips we had to make in a week. But, having the new set is def proving to be much more convenient. Unfortunetly, I havent actually gotten to use it (DH has been doing the laundry) because I've been so sick. Last week I got the Influenza A. DS1 and DD had, and now its turned into a sinus infection Hopefully in the next few days I'll be back in tip top shape and better able to get the house back on track, and able to keep it that way. But, for now, I'm resting as I can and just taking care of the kids.

Not pregnant lol! It's been the longest break I've had, and honestly I'm enjoying it. Other than that, watching the kids grow up way too fast. I feel like I went from having all babies and toddlers to mostly school age over night. We've decided to put the older three in school for next fall so the house is going to be so so quiet.

Congrats and an easy 9 months Deb!
