What tips do you have for someone newly diagnosed: You don't have to accept your dx as fate. You can do things to turn it around. Diet, diet, diet. Exercise every SINGLE day. Don't just sit back and let it happen.
How has having (or living with someone with) diabetes changed your life: It's forced me to take a proactive approach to my health.

What tips do you have for someone newly diagnosed: Get to know what you are dealing with and do not try to pretend the disease is not there.
How has having (or living with someone with) diabetes changed your life: I eat better, I sleep in more regular hours, I suppose that for now it is not that bad. Worst thing for me is not being able to stop thinking about my sugar at this and that moment during the day.
