We will be TTC soon. Here is my tentative timeline:

First post partum AF - end of October '09
Appointment to remove Mirena: November 20th '09
December '09- not preventing
January '10- Actively TTC until it takes :lovebed:

I really have no idea what to expect from my body. With Kaelan we were not preventing but definitely not actively TTC so we lasted a few months of not preventing before getting that surprise BFP.

Sounds good. I know you got the idea from april '08 but you did a really nice job of organizing this. Thanks.

Hopefully soon we will have the :preggo: category to add.

You can put us in the not preventing category -- no chart yet, since I haven't had my first PPAF yet. So, I'm not yet charting!

UPDATE:
Got my first PP AF on Friday, June 4. Still in the not preventing category, but heading towards TTC. I will get a chart going shortly.

We only use condoms, so I guess you could "kind of" say not preventing.....but I'm saying not ready yet. Probably somewhere around 2012.

Put me in "family is complete"

May change my mind eventually but that's what I'm thinking right now Smile

Not preventing. Although, my doctor says that at my age (46) I only have a 6% chance of conceiving. So it doesn't look promising.

We are waiting at least a few years...and not even sure if that will ever happen as I may experience infertility after my surgery next month and my husband is not even sure he wants another baby. I would like one more, though

Chalk one more up for not preventing, though I've been too tired to have anything to prevent!

How 'bout a "DH says we're done but I'm hoping for one more" category?
then you add me there

Well, we're pretty sure we're not done, but I'm on the pill again. Sooner rather than later for TTC though. Maybe June/Jul. 2010?

We'd like to see how finances are once my mat leave is up.

I have had baby fever since Lily was just a few hours old! I couldn't believe we were already talking about #3 when we were still in the hospital with #2.

We are going to wait, though, until DD#1 is ready for Kindergarten, and we are working on buying a new house. So I think we will start TTC Fall 2011. I want one NOW though!

A little cute sidebar--my DH is so sure #3 is going to be a boy he is already starting a little collection of baby boy things. It is really cute. If #3 is a girl, she better like the color Blue and Whales. Smile

Tomorrow is my big day for removing the IUD. My doc isn't super happy about it since she wanted me to wait longer before TTC again due to the c-section but she is glad I at least waited 8 months.

I'm a little nervous that it will hurt since my cervix is no longer recently stretched so hopefully it will go smoothly. I think you might as well put us in the TTC category Lauren, as soon as this cycle is over I will sure as heck be aware of when we are DTD in regards to when I should be O-ing even if I'm not following a chart.

Baby fever is sooooo strong!

I need to POAS! I've had two people tell me in the last three days that they had a dream I was pg! ROFL May has sttn beautifully the last two nights, and I am hoping that trend continues. Maybe then AF will return (can't believe I would ever wish for AF to return!), and I can start charting. Seriously, she has slept 11-12hrs in a row with just one short nighttime feeding. Yahoo Previously it was up every 1-4hrs.

Andrea--Maybe we'll be in the same birth month again..lol

Kim that would be awesome to be on the same bb again. We would definitely be able to relate having 2 very young ones at the same time. I hope May's schedule helps AF along, lots of baby dust coming your way!

Um, Lauren, don't we have some preggos now? When you get a chance, can you update? I want to keep track, but I am terrible at remembering without something like this.

Thanks!

Yeah, I am waiting until they give me the "go ahead" and some EDDs. I don't want to post before they feel comfortable.

Is there a never-going-near-a-pair-of-testacles-to-ever-have-to-worry-about-it-again section???

Oh wow Andrea--that was fast! Congrats!

Still no PP AF here. I'm trying to get May to sleep longer at night. I'm sure nursing her every 2-4hrs 24/7 has something to do with it! So far we are going about 5hrs at night. I'm aiming for at least 6hrs.

I think that would help. I was only nursing 3 times a day, and going 12+ hours at night between his bedtime and morning feeds when I got my bfp. From what I had read you should be going about 6 hours at night between feeds before your fertility returns. You should do some googling to find out some things you can do to increase your chances.

ok ladies I guess you can add me to the TTC section. We had a little chat yesterday and figured that if we were going to have another one this would be the time to do it since I'm obviously not going to be able to do my masters this year and if I want to do it next year it would mean that baby #2 wouldn't be super young when starting. Tbh we haven't been beeing that careful anyway  I'm not going to chart or any of that business, just going to let nature take its course, if its anything like last time all I'll have to do is blink and I'll be carrying lol Smile

oh and btw my sister told me that she is expecting!!! so she will be due around the same time as Andrea! Biggrin

yay Catherine! Although BOO for having to wait on school. I know how difficult it can be to plan babies around school- Isla was born in my first year of grad school, not exactly awesome timing Smile
