It's been very quiet around here the past week! Isla started preschool two weeks ago and she LOVES it! She is wearing underwear full time now, but for some reason she poops in her underwear EVERY TIME she goes to school . I guess the new environment is a bit overwhelming? Does anybody else have experience with this? I am really at a loss to understand why she is doing it. I keep trying to encourage her and talk to her about it, I also instituted a sticker reward for poops in the potty.

Also, I got a + pregnancy test yesterday, so it looks like I am knocked-up. It is still very, very early, but we are excited and hoping for a sticky bean. If it does stick, I will be due mid-may. No facebook comments please! We probably won't "go public" until around Halloween.

That's about all! I hope everyone else is well!

CONGRATS!!!!! I love how you through that in there like blahblahblahi'mpregnantpasstheturnips. I don't think that's how you meant it, but it was cute. Congrats though. Praying for a sticky bean for you.

I have no ideas about the poop issue. None of my kids had them. Maybe it's a rebellion thing? I take it she wasn't having problems before? Glad she is liking it though. Faith is doing a toddler time/preschool thing at our church one day a week starting in almost 2 weeks. I'll be one of the teachers though so she won't really be away from me.

It has been slow here though. I had to go away for a couple weeks to help my mom and dad. And this last week I've been playing catch up. In fact I will most like be playing catchup all week this week as well. Next weekend I'm going to help my uncle move and then hopefully things will calm down after that.

Haha! Yeah I didn't want to make TOO big of a deal out of it! Thanks, Angela.

And yes, she poops in the potty fine at home, if she has an accident it is generally pee and it is because she is too excited/preoccupied to stop and potty. I don't know what to do about the situation at school. She could be unsure of the new environment or something, I don't know  I'll keep you guys updated if we find a solution.

Sounds like you guys have been really busy! I hope things settle down in the next couple of weeks.

I'm glad Isla likes pre-school. I'm thinking of getting jacob signed up soon, no advice on the potty training thing as we have totally 100% regressed Sad

Well, I already said this on your DYSAL thread, but Congrats!!! Biggrin

I'm glad Isla is enjoying pre-school. And I also have no potty advice, Mason is still not trained, I've only managed to get him to pee on the potty once. I hope as she gets more comfortable with school she'll stop having accidents.

Congratuations, Lauren! Goodness, y'all got the job done quick! Wink I hope you have a great 9 months.

Vivien is pretty much completely daytime potty trained for pee, but has only pooped in the potty a couple of times, and that almost seemed accidental. Fortunately she doesn't seem to be holding it anymore and making herself constipated (we had to give her Miralax in her morning milk for awhile and then slowly wean her off of it), but still, she poops in her underwear and THEN tells us or the preschool teachers that she has to go. I don't understand it, either. Over the weekend, we bought her Hello Kitty underwear (she loves Hello Kitty) and told her that it would make kitty so sad if she got pooped on. So we'll see how that works. Sorry, no solutions yet, but at least Isla isn't the only one.

Don't worry about that too much, this is still SUPER young for potty training and boys are notorious for being slower in that area. Besides, didn't I see on your FB that you recently moved? A big change like that can definitely cause kids to regress. Once he feels "safe" in his new area I'm sure he will be back to his old self again.

I'm glad I'm not the only one! Isla has pretty underwear too and I told her we are having to throw out the pairs that she poops in. It is quite frustrating. My husband called and said that her teacher said she pooped almost immediately after I left. I took her to the potty twice at school before I left and NOTHING. ugh. I'll let you know if we get this figured out.

Congrats on your BFP. HH9 months to you!

Sorry I don't have any advice on the pooping thing either. Cooper will go pee *most* of the time at home(except for the 2 times already that he's peed on the floor today. sigh) but will not poop in the potty. Once I caught him, and he finished in the potty, but usually he will wait until he has a diaper on.

He peed 2 times in the big toilets this past weekend when we went camping. Once at the campground, and once at the ferry terminal. Didn't use his potty once the whole time, no matter how many times I asked him. Sigh again.

Oh wow, I hadn't checked in for a few days and this happens! Not much trying involved there huh. Congrats and HH9Ms to you, how exciting.

I don't want to talk about potty training. Kaelan was almost completely potty trained and for the last 4 weeks, he (and Hailey) have had really loose stools to the point where he can't control them well. I am not about to clean that mess over and over so it has been back to diapers for us. The doctor says that he has seen some viruses that act this way and they have no other symptoms at all and are eating/drinking great so he hasn't done further testing yet. If they still have it by the time I bring Hailey in for her well child checkup in 2 weeks, he will do more testing. I am soooooo sick of poop. They both go like 3-4 times a day and they are not pleasant to clean.

Ok, rant over. Sorry I have no suggestions for Isla's issue though since we are stuck two steps back.

I 100% don't blame you. We'd be in pull-ups too for that.

Lauren how have you been doing? Any symptoms yet? Do you have your first appointment booked yet?

I'm so excited for you!

I have been pretty tired and nauseous lately. And HUNGRY. My first ultrasound is on the 28th, a week from today. I am nervous and excited about it. If everything looks okay on the ultrasound we are going to tell our family, but we will be keeping it a secret from most people until the beginning of November. I'll KUP on the ultrasound.
