You could do a 'meet the baby' party after the babe is born? I think it would be o.k. to do a baby shower, but I would do the request no presents thing. Of course if it's a boy you will need some stuff. I don't know, it's a toughy.
Yeah, I'm super terrified of the phone. I have no idea why.
and Yeah, that's why we HAVE to get her into a preschool. Before it was like "ehh whatever" now it's like NO SHE HAS TO GO. hahaha.
Whitney, for some reason "I like speech impediments too" made me laugh so hard..hahaha
Kilah, I would either say wait and have a "sip and see" like a "meet the baby" party a few weeks after the baby is born or put "no gifts please" on the invitations. Either one. I didn't have a shower for Rowynn, and I definitely won't for this baby.
Kilah... if you are uncomfortable about receiving gifts like I was (I already had 2 baby showers when pregnant with Clara) then do a "welcome baby" party. It was a hit and also puts the emphasis and attention on your baby instead of you I also found that since we already had all the traditional baby gear people were able to bring her more personalized gifts.
I'm not as sick as I was with Clara, I was almost bedridden until 14 weeks and felt like I had the flu from hell. This time I find it's just a queasiness that comes and goes but I can hide it easily. With Clara I looked white as a ghost. I remember visiting Chris's mom for lunch the day we announced the news and she made a beautiful meal but it included pureed spinach as a side. I thought I was going to puke right there, will never forget it!! Chris saw it right away and looked at me worried... his mom thought it was funny once she knew why I wouldn't try it. This time I find I can't eat as much as I normally do and the smell of meat cooking makes me want to run to the bathroom. I love meat but not lately!!
ya I wouldn't do another baby shower. Maybe if you were having a boy after having a girl, I could see it but not knowing the gender, I would wait till after the baby is born and do something then. I totally agree though that every baby should be celebrated.
Kilah - What about a Recipe party? A friend of mine did that for her sister's second baby. The invitations came with recipe cards, and then the guests wrote down the recipe for the food they brought for the parents-to-be to freeze for after the baby arrived. I thought that was a pretty cool idea! That way, you can get some food you don't have to worry about in the few days after the baby is born, plus you get some yummy new recipes and no one has to bring a gift. I think that would be a fun route if your sister is set on something. I also like the 'sip and see' ideas, too.
Ann-marie - Aw, I bet Fiona will LOVE preschool! And yeah, it'll probably be a much loved and hated time away from her after the next baby comes, you know? It'll be nice to only juggle two, but of course you'll miss her!
I don't mind the phone! I used to HATE it (aside from friends/family), but now I don't mind making calls so much. I do, however, still hate calling in take-out orders. Haha. I always make Darin do it.
Brittany - I hope Ava's rash clears up quickly! We went through a rash stage, too. Sometimes I swear it's just a thing they go through when diets drastically change (i.e. going from baby food to table food, etc.). That's when it happened to Owen.
ETA: Sally, I was like that when pregnant with Owen. Meat made me want to vomit! I couldn't cook or look at meat for the first 14 weeks or so. Ugh! I remember my first meat meal once I felt it sorta safe was tacos, which I love! Even then it was a little shaky. It still made me a little gaggish.
Oh I LOVE that recipe idea. Or a diaper shower. The people in Michael's group got us a bunch of diapers and wipes when Rowynn was born. Oh wait..you use cloth..haha. umm..something like that though..I like the idea of a sip and see though because it's not a bunch of people all at once and people can come and go as they please. I guess it depends on how comfortable you are a week or two after birth though. Then you wouldn't have people coming over randomly or calling asking about seeing the baby too.
Yeah, the first thing I said was 'OMG HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO GROCERY SHOP WITH 3?!" hahaha. and Michael was like "preschool..you have to get Fiona into preschool.." haha.
I so don't want to go grocery shopping today either..haha. I don't even do that great a job when there's two.
Oh, I like all those ideas. Thanks, ladies. The reciipe and diaper party sound like good ideas. We use sposies at night, and the baby has to be biggish before I can put him/her in the cloth diapers we have. They say from 8 lbs+, but Halloway was almost 3 months before she fit into them, lol.
The sip and see sounds good too...but I totally see that being a lot of people who just. won't. leave. So I'd have a million and two people there wanting to hold him and never give him back, lol.
Kilah - Owen was the same way with his one-size diapers! I swear he was a good 12 pounds or so before he fit into them well and we didn't have leaks anymore! So yeah, he wasn't in them until about 3-4 months. 8 lbs. my @ss! They have to get a bit of meat on their thighs before those suckers fit well!
Haha I have to grocery shop today, too!! I don't want to, though because it's pouring out.
Lol Ann-Marie, I really do find speech impediments and like chipped/imperfect teeth super sexy.
Sorry you have to go to the store today. It really sucks. I won't go by myself w/ Gavin unless it's a quick trip haha. I already have enough anxiety about the grocery store.
It's funny, a lot of women talk about not being able to do meat when they're pregnant. I was a total meat-o-saurus. Like all I wanted was freaking steak.
I think I can put off the grocery store another 15 minutes, and that's it..haha. I don't have anxiety about the grocery store but it is SO EXHAUSTING...getting everyone dressed, in the car, out of the car, into the store, into the cart, keep Fiona occupied, make sure I don't forget anything, unload it all at the check out, get everyone TO the car, put the stuff in the car, get everyone IN the car, get everyone OUT of the car, unpack everything ::Sigh:: yeah. It makes me tired thinking about it.
yeah, I said a while ago I would do cloth diapers with the next baby. Of course, that's when I think I was going to have two in preschool and a newborn..hahaha. So I dunno about that. I like meat too. I always want a steak. With Fiona it was mexican food though. which I never liked before her. Then with Rowynn I HAD to have sushi. Like all the time. Oh, and with Fiona the honey mustard...it was like "what do you want to eat?" "I don't know, what can I put honey mustard on, because that's what I want" hahaha
Oh, and with Fiona the honey mustard...it was like "what do you want to eat?" "I don't know, what can I put honey mustard on, because that's what I want" hahaha
That's how I was with those Philadelphia cheese spreads. Have you seen those? It's like cheddar cheese mixed with cream cheese bits.. I think that's all I ate the first trimester since everything else made me want to vom. Haha.
Haha oh yeah I liked Mexican Food a lot too. But I always like it.
Yeah, it is exhausting, even w/o kids. I have to walk a half block to and from the car each time too.
Lol. I was meat crazy too. I ate so much orange chicken that towards the end of my pregnancy the Panda Express people knew me and when I walked in the door they boxed up my order without even asking me what I was having. Lol. I don't think I've had orange chicken since Chloe was 3-4 months old.
Chloe is finally napping, thank God. She went to bed at midnight last night and got up at 8a. Ugh. I was so freaking tired last night. Matt and I ended up letting her lay in bed with the iPod and watch Yo Gabba Gabba. I fell asleep and when I woke up to check on her, she had the iPod (still playing!) clutched in her hands with her hands on her head and was fast asleep. Lol. I should have got a picture.
Kilah- I think a sip and see would be fun. Especially since you'll be team green and won't know if you need tons of stuff until after the baby is here. I'm sure if you have a boy everyone will want to buy boy clothes and boy toys for the new little one.
Ann-marie, I was thinking about you and wondering if you would CD this next baby. Would you want to switch R to cloth too then?
We are supposed to go to the post office today and mail some packages and I have a return to make. I'm feeling really lazy though, so I'm not sure we'll make it out.
Okay I went to the store. So tired now. I need a nap.
yeah, if I did cloth diapers, I'd switch Rowynn over. I told michael wed see if i have my crap together then decide..haha
Stephanie, I hope they don't strike!! Oh and I spent like 10 minutes trying to figure out WUPHF. I must be really slow this morning but I don't get it!
LOL! It's from The Office. It's pronounced "Woof". It's the thing that Ryan started up that alerted you when someone sent you an email/comment on FB/Twitter/MySpace etc...
Okay, now I'm not holding a squirming baby and feeding her yogurt..
That's so funny about Chloe and watching yo gabba gabba!
I need to go wash dishes/clean the kitchen but I'm SO TIRED. and that's not going to happen right now..haha. I haven't heard from Michael and it's almost 3 so I guess they don't need people for overtime? He gets off at 3:30 usually, so I ASSUME he'd be notified..of course that's not always the case. We super need some overtime though since he missed it when he was in the hospital. Plus we blew a lot of money eating out ... even though my parents were great and fed me a few times (and his mom did too) and fed the girls almost every meal. So that was really helpful too.
I have two new crochet patterns I want to try out too. Maybe tonight I'll feel up to that.
I could never CD. Totally not for me. I HATE doing laundry, and have a hard enough time keeping up as it is right now.
We didn't have a shower for Jackson. I wonder what would have happend if he had turned out to be a girl?
I hope that Ava's rash is an easy fix like that, Brittany. But that would kinda suck if it is, because didn't you just by that enormous box of Luv's?
Yay for a new swingset! Carson's been begging me to go out and play on his lately. I have to keep reminding him that it's just too cold and wet right now Sucks, because I want to go out and play just as much as he does!
I'm the same way about the store, Ann-marie. It's just so much freaking work! I usually wait until the weekend now and go alone. I didn't make it this past weekend, so it looks like I'll probably have to go with the kids sometime this week. Sucks! So incredibly exhausting! It'll be better when we don't have to deal with coats though.
I hate talking on the phone too! Drew doesn't get it, either. I've gotten better about it than I was, but I still don't like to do it. When I was working as a pet trainer, my boss always wanted me to call people up who had only done one class to check up on them and try to get them to sign up for an intermediate class. That was the worst ever! I felt so awkward doing that! He'd also want me to call up a list of people who adopted dogs from a local shelter to see how it was going and try to sell them a class. Hated it!
Yeah, it doesn't help that when I talk on the phone all hell breaks loose at my house. Dogs barking, babies screaming, toddlers yelling..terribleness. Michael just called to harass me about my phone calls I needed to do and told me I was a cop out for emailing about preschool and told me I HAVE to call the dr. Which I would love to do, but at the time, the dogs were barking, Rowynn was putting stuff in her mouth so i was chasing her around and Fiona was screaming "CAN I TALK? JUST A MINUTE? PLEEEEEEEEEEEASE? CAN I HAVE SOME OF YOUR DRINK?" and 50 other things. So I told him "Seriously? You think I could discuss preschool with someone with this going on? I'm really just hoping they can give me some basic information through email so I don't have to retain it over the phone." I'll try to call the drs when I go to my parents this afternoon and someone else can distract them.
Totally know what you're saying! Carson's always saying "Who you talking to??" over and over until I finally have to tell the person on the phone to wait just a min and tell Carson what's going on. He does this even if I tell him who I'm calling before I call! Silly kid!
You know, I hate laundry, and I'm lucky if I get ours done every two weeks. But I've always stayed on top of her dipes. I don't know why. And know that we're down to washing them only 1x a week, Jaime does them anyway.
I like going to the grocery store, but not by myself. I NEVER go by myself, unless it's to pick up 1 or 2 things. Otherwise, Jaime and I always go together on the weekends.
I was going to say more, but Halloway's throwing croutons at me and screaming.
I never did like going by myself. I always loved company. This is a recent development for me. I'm always forgetting stuff when I take the kids with me. Or if Drew tags along. I've lost a lot of focus since Jackson came along lol!
So we took the dog to PetSmart to get groomed this morning. For some reason, it takes them 3 hours to do it , so we just stayed out the whole time. I was a little bummed about it at first, but the kids were actually great for me! We went to the mall and took the stroller out for her maiden voyage, and it worked out great! We saw a couple friends there, so the kids played at the train table at Von Maur for a bit, we got a cookie at Mrs. Fields and then went and got a birthday present for my mom. After that, we did lunch at O'Charley's and the kids were just fantastic! Usually they're good up until it's time to pay, but this time, they were good even through that. I felt like super-mom! I even managed to get us all to the bathroom for a diaper change and potty and held everything together. It was perfect timing too, because they called to say that Bailey was done just as I was getting the kids into the car. It felt awesome to have a nice morning/afternoon like that!
Ya I bought that huge box and thats when all of our problems started! I kinda put it all together this morning. We bought a small pack of the "new" monkey luvs in January, I'm not sure if that was same time Ava got her last scary rash, but it might have. Then we bought this box of 180 Luvs from Amazon. We started using them and Ava started getting more rashes. Which have turned into sores I can't get them to go away and feel really bad that it may be the new luv diapers. I know other moms have complained about the same thing. I haven't changed anything in my routine. We switched back to the old luvs I have in the closet and we are going to see if it goes away. Already called luvs and complained though... Its been a rough day.
Yeah, I was just going to say to contact Luv's. They may reimburse(sp?? that word looks really weird right now) you or something?
Thanks for the reminder ladies. I have been putting off calling the Dr. about my period and this conversation totally reminded me that I had to do that. Unfortunately when I tried to make an appointment they informed me that I had a $177 balance. WTF? I haven't seen him since my 6 week post op. We haven't moved, they have my address. And we pre-paid him when I was pg. I can't wait for the insurance lady to call me back on this one.
And yeah, I totally agree about talking on the phone. I was talking to my BF in New Zeland and she asked if I wanted her to call me back and I said, "Yeah in about 5 years when it's quieter!"
And Ann-Marie preschool is the most awesome invention in the whole world. Belle and I do so much better when we have breaks from each other. She gets to learn all kinds of new stuff and someone else wears her out two days a week. I totally heart preschool!
First Luvs offered me coupons, which I don't want coupons. I told them I want the old luvs back and I won't be buying luvs again if thats whats causing her rash. So then they offered me samples of Pampers, which I told them again NO I won't be switching to Pampers, so they finally offered me a refund on that box. Now I have 100+ diapers that I won't use and don't know what to do with! I feel bad giving them away in case they do the same thing to someone elses baby and I feel bad throwing them away.
At least they finally offered you the refund though. Surely you can find someone whose kid doesn't react to them? That way you won't have to throw them all out.
Ya I was going to let my SIL know what happened and see if she wanted to try them on my Nephew, but he seems to have more sensitive skin than Ava.. who knows
Hi girls! Sorry I have been MIA for a little while. I've been reading up but just have been being lazy and not posting. I get so far behind then I feel like a loser for not keeping up...wah, wah, wah, get over it Jill
Brittney-Sorry about the diaper rash, that sucks! Hopefully it is just the diapers. Cooper was having bad rashes a few weeks ago and we were trying every diaper cream on the shelf. I found "anti monkey butt" It is basically zinc + calamine and it worked like a charm. Now when he has any sign of rash I put it on and in a few hours it is gone.
I am the same way about the phone. Glad to know I'm not alone. I think it is probably why I've lost touch with some of my friends IRL. I just don't like talking on the phone, period.
Steph-I hope they don't strike for you guys! That would suck. And I have searched all day, I'm probably just a big idiot, but I cannot figure out what WUPHF or whatever stands for. It is driving me crazy!!
Whitney-LOL to the speech impediment and bad teeth turn on. You crack me up!!
Ann-marie- I love Juliet for a middle name. I think it would be pretty for a first name too, but I for some reason do not like the name Julie (childhood babysitter trauma) and I'd be afraid that is what people would call her.
I know I missed a lot but I'll try to be better tomorrow.
So my baby graduated to the 1-yr room at daycare today. *tear* I just keep feeling like he is growing up WAY.TOO.FAST. They don't sleep in PNPs in there now and he eats lunch on a little chair (I have no idea how they get him to stay on it, but they do I guess). He has "recess", a trip to the playroom down the hall. It just seems so grown up!!
Aw, Jill, that's exciting for Cooper that he got to move up to a bigger class. I bet he has more fun.
I love the name Julie! ha ha. Unfortuantley, it's my mother's name. And I would NEVER name my child after her, bahaha. Oh, well, there are a million other names I like too. And luckily, they don't have to be of a certain origin. I think that's so awesome, Ann-marie, that your kids will all have names of the same origin, I just think I'd be royally screwed. I can't imagine Jaime and I agreeing on two names of the same origin. It's a miracle if we agree on two names period (he's changing names on me now...we'll see...).
Lindsay, that's crazy about the doctors office. I hope you get that sorted.
Yeah, I think preschool will be good. It's just the picking/thinking about it is stressful.
Brittany, sorry about the diapers. Glad they're getting you a refund though. I don't know what I'd do with the diapers either. That super sucks though. I know you were really happy with Luvs. It'll be okay though..I was like that with pampers, and I like huggies just fine.
Jill, it's crazy how early they can get them to do some things at daycare. I'm sure he's having a lot of fun with all the "new" things.
Well it helps that we expanded it to "celtic" instead of just straight irish. So it can be scottish or welsh too. Maybe other stuff...but the welsh stuff is really cute.
and yeah, it's a miracle when we decide on a (girl) name too. because there aren't a ton of those we like. either of us. We're lucky if we can get a list of 5 that one of us "likes" and the other "doesn't hate" hahaha
Glad you had an awesome day out with the boys Steph.
Yeah, the big boy class will be more fun for Cooper. It is crazy how they get them to do stuff. One perk of Daycare I think. At the one I worked at they did crafts in the 10-18 month room! So cute.
Sorry about the diapers Brittany, that is really lame. Why do they keep changing all the diapers? I don't get that.
I can't believe you're already over 6 weeks pregnant, Ann-Marie. Crazy how much faster it goes when it's someone else
And Kilah is well into the second trimester!
I have always felt that way too about daycare...that they get kids to do stuff much quicker. That's why I bring Chloe over to MIL's so much, lol. She does art projects, gardening, and teaches them shapes and colors starting around a year. I always feel kinda lazy when I see what all she does with 5 kids under 3 years old. I can't get myself together enough to that stuff with one kid! I'm betting Cooper is going to have a total blast!
We went to two different Targets this afternoon. Neither of which had what I wanted in the size I wanted it. Guess I'll wait until we are back in AZ and check there. I did get the Gymboree stuff exchanged today, so that's good. Chloe is ready to swim whenever the weather decides to cooperate with us. Oh, and we got a rain coat for next year.
We're going out for the Johnny Rockets $5 breakfast tomorrow and to exchange some stuff at Carters. I am also going to window shop the Coach outlet and the Gymboree outlet. I'm leaving my credit card at home and just taking some cash with me. That way I can't spend more money.
I'm glad they did something about the diapers for you Britt. Sucks you are stuck with them, but at least you aren't paying for them too. Hopefully Ava will clear up now that she's in other diapers. Poor girl.
Steph, that sounds like an amazing day! I
I'm hungry. I'm borderline stinky too. I don't really want to make dinner or shower though.
I got emails back from the preschool people. My first choice said they still have some openings and I can come up tomorrow and drop off a registration fee and fill out an application. So that's good.
My second/third choice (the other two I really didn't care) their 3 day 3 year old program is full but they have a place in the 2 day program, but that's for "younger 3 year olds" and Fi would be the oldest in that class. So it's good that the other place has a spot. So I have to go up there in the morning. I'll call and make doctors appts too since I'm going to take the girls to my moms so I can go up there.
I know Whitney, it's kind of crazy.
Tera, that sounds like a good day. I need to online gymboree shop. .. crap..I thought I might do that now but it's already 9:00..that's crazy dude. Time goes so fast. haha. We ate late so my schedule is a little wacko.
It's only 7 here, but it feels a lot later to me.
Go shop Gymboree! All the sale stuff is $10.99 or less and it's running out quick!
I have a cart of stuff that I keep going back and forth on ordering. Every time I go to look at it again a bunch of stuff has sold out. At least my cart is getting cheaper by the day, lol. Rainboots and coats are so cheap right now! Oh, and jeans!!! I'm such a sucker for cute jeans. Yes...you need to go shop!!!
Which swimsuits did you get???
We are stocked on swimsuits and we don't even have a pool I'm just so excited for summer and Gymboree needs to stop making cute swimsuits!!! I really like the blue one with the swim cap but I'm not getting her another swimsuit! She has too many
Sorry to jump on here with a question, but I'm kind of freaking out. (and it's a TMI question) But were your first periods after birth really heavy?? I am going through a super absorbency tampon plus a pad every hour. And I have NO cramps which is really weird. I'm sure it will let up soon, but it's never been like this!
Oh Tera why did you post that?? LOL. Now I'm going to spend the next hour trying to justify buying more clothes! hahaha.
Thats no fun Jenny! I remember being told my first period would be SUPER heavy, but it wasn't. I'd guess it would be especially after a year since you gave birth but thats not science. Hope it lightens up soon!
Mine was Jenny..like .. I went through a super one every 2 hours. It was crazy.
Yeah, I just want the navy dresses from the greek isle collection..I don't need any of the sale stuff.
I've been meaning to check out Carters swim suits...Targets are REALLY cute though...http://www.target.com/Infant-Toddler-Girls-Swimwear-Circo/dp/B003Z28048/ref=br_1_14?ie=UTF8&id=Infant%20Toddler%20Girls%20Swimwear%20Circo&node=2242998011&searchSize=30&searchView=grid3&searchPage=1&sr=1-14&qid=1298952427&rh=&searchBinNameList=target_com_category-bin,style_name,price,target_com_primary_color-bin,target_com_brand-bin,target_com_character-bin&searchRank=salesrank&frombrowse=1http://www.target.com/Infant-Toddler-Swimwear-Circo-Paisly/dp/B003Z27WZ6/ref=sc_qi_detaillink
those are my favorite.
Mine was craaaazy Jenny! I went to the hospital because I thought I was hemmorhaging. Sounds about like what you are going through. Mine took about a week (a whole flipping week!) to lighten up and then another week to stop. Hopefully yours does not do that! It was so heavy it was scary.
We got the strawberry suit and the yellow and white one. I like the blue one too. Chloe has to wear special suits for her swim class (like those i-play ones with the built in diaper) so I can't justify buying too many 'cute suits', since she'll only wear those when we go to the beach. She has a rash guard short set from Target too. I
I also adore all the Osh Kosh stuff at Target. I want to get it all. I keep buying a piece here and there whenever I go. The sucky part is that Chloe had zero summer clothes stored up, so from 12mo up we are building her wardrobe from scratch! Ugh. I wish I would have bought bigger sizes while still preggo. The 12 mo stuff looked so big then, I thought she'd never ever fit it, lol. I'm trying to buy stuff for next winter from the Gymboree sale, just so we have something for her to wear when it gets to next winter. I don't really mind paying 'full price' for Carters- I always have a 20% off coupon. I do mind paying full price for Gymboree though! Ouch!
Chloe has this-http://www.target.com/Infant-Toddler-Swimwear-Circo-Rashguard/dp/B003Z23W2S/ref=br_1_21?ie=UTF8&id=Infant%20Toddler%20Swimwear%20Circo%20Rashguard&node=2242998011&searchSize=30&searchView=grid3&searchPage=1&sr=1-21&qid=1298952680&rh=&searchBinNameList=target_com_category-bin%2Cstyle_name%2Cprice%2Ctarget_com_primary_color-bin%2Ctarget_com_brand-bin%2Ctarget_com_character-bin&searchRank=salesrank&frombrowse=1
I love those suits you posted Ann-marie! I have a feeling that although Chloe has adorable Gymboree suits, she'll probably end up wearing her Target rash guard the most, since that's what's recommended for little's that swim in the ocean.
I got the Merry and Brights clothes from Gymboree for Ava for next winter. I'm glad I got it all on clearance.
I shouldn't admit to the swimsuits we have gotten. I'm done though even though I'd like to get that blue one. NOT buying another. We are just going to use play pools this summer and then go swimming at Grandma's house in AZ. I mean really... Ava doesn't need a swimsuit, she could wear a swim diaper and a t-shirt and she wouldn't care. But oh well. I think swimsuits are adorable (we have the frog, strawberry and bumblebee ones from gymboree) shhh
ETA: oh and a black and red lady bug bikini from Crazy 8...
Watching 127 hours right now... the part where he cuts his arm off. bahhhh
ETA 2: I didn't love the greek line. I LOVE the dark blue in it but I didn't fall in love with it all. I ended up getting Ava 2 outfits still from it. But we didn't and won't get any of the current spring/easter line. I don't like it.
Thanks guys. Hopefully I won't bleed to death. It's so annoying!
I love those swimsuits!!!!
I haven't seen that movie Brittany, but I did watch the special they did on him a month ago. I can't even imagine. And he was stuck in that tiny spot for days. When he was talking about how he had to break his arm before he could cut it, I about died!!
Its a great movie. I don't know how he did it. He is amazing. I honestly think I would have just died.
blah of course... Dan did exactly what I asked him not to do and put Ava's birthday shirt in the wash and of course its ruined. there are black and pink splotches on it. I pulled it out next to a plasticy bib that is not supposed to go in the washing machine that is black and pink. BLAH. I even had a bow custom made to go with this shirt. At least I got some pictures of her in it (not very good ones) but oh well.
Oh no Britt! That sucks.
I still have Chloe's b-day outfits in the box! I haven't even tried them on her yet, because I keep freaking out something will happen to them, lol. I probably should try them on her though to make sure they fit!
Do you think there is time to get another shirt?
Is that movie on Netflix? Sounds like something I'd enjoy watching.
I'm just hanging out waiting for Matt to get Chloe to sleep. We're making a cookie dough, hot fudge, banana, vanilla ice cream and cool whip sundae and watching Dexter after she goes down. I wish she'd hurry up and fall asleep already, lol.
I've been on Gymboree on and off all night too. I keep almost clicking 'buy' and then talking myself out of it. I just bought tons and tons of new ribbon last week and it arrives tomorrow, so that should help curb this shopping problem I am having lately! Oh, and I have yarn coming too!!!!
Yeah, Halloway has 4 swimsuits - 2 Gymbo, 1 Gap, 1 ztarget, and 1 Old Navy. Guess that's 5.... But that's my "thing." Some women have shoes (or bows ), I have lots of swimsuits. And now I'm doing it to H, ha ha. I REALLY love the yellow ruffle bikini at Gymbo, but Jaime would go apesh!t if I bought her a bikini, ha ha. Her Gap swimsuit is two piece, but the top almost covers her whole belly, it's the only way that one flew.
Jenny - I'm so sorry about your period. I hope it gets better!
Brittany - sorry about Ava's shirt! That sucks!
My girls only had 1 swimsuit last year. Maybe this year I'll get them two though. I know my MIL mentioned getting them one when we go to the Carters outlet, so if I get one at Target they'll have two. We just don't usually swim enough for them to need two though. I need to look into swim lessons again this year though.
Oh Brittany, I would be SO MAD. That sucks sucks sucks.
I have to go register Fiona for preschool this morning. blah.
Glad that your first choice still has openings, Ann-marie!! Great news!
That totally sucks about the shirt Brittany I'd be so pissed.
I need to go clothes shopping for the boys. I have a 25% off coupon for OshKosh which doesn't have a spending limit on it, but it expires tomorrow. I hope I can get out there. I want my mom to come, because I hate shopping with both boys in tow by myself!
So the union has come to a tentative agreement! So, if everyone votes the way they are suppose to this weekend, there will be no strike!!! PHEW!
I only have one swimsuit for my girls as well. But we just go swimming in kiddie pools in the backyard. We have some really fun pools around here for kids but every year they have a crypto outbreak and that is just beyond disgusting.
I'm so sorry about the shirt Brittany!! UGH!!!
I'm glad they didn't strike Stephanie!
I hope the registration goes well Ann-Marie! Fiona is going to love preschool!!
And OMG, my period is STILL super crazy heavy. BLAH. Like it's so bad I couldn't leave my house if I wanted to.
