I'll start...

Name: Amy

How far along: 26 weeks, 6 days

Boy/Girl/Surprise: Boy!!

Do you have a name picked: Andrew Patrick

Any other children: Nope

How are you feeling: Feeling pretty good in general, except for some rib pain on my right hand side.

Feeling movement: Starting to feel the baby actually roll around, instead of just jabs and kicks.

Cravings/Aversions: Nothing too intense in terms of cravings. My aversions have pretty much gone away.

How is your sleep: Tossing from side to side all night. Lots of crazy dreams.

What u doing for exercise (if anything): Yoga once a week, try to also go to the gym with DH a few times a week and I'll walk on the treadmill for 30 mins.

Do u plan to BF or FF or both: BF hopefully!

What have u bought for baby: Ordered a rocker, crib and mattress. Have bought a few clothing items.

Are u going to take any childbirth classes/what r u doing to prepare for labor/birth? Will take a "Prepared Childbirth Class" next month with DH. It's a one day class.

Home Birth/Birth Center/Hospital? Planning on a birth center which is actually right next door and owned by a hospital.

Something good: Excited to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Feeling pretty good and the nursery is starting to shape up.

Something not so good: Trying to keep hemorrhoids at bay Sad

Anything else you would like to add: Hoping for a natural child birth but as a first time mom have NO IDEA what to expect in terms of my pain tolerance. Hope I can do it, but know that things come up unexpectedly.

WOOO HOOO for the 3rd Tri - I will be there Sunday! Smile

Name: Jen

How far along: 27 and 3

Boy/Girl/Surprise: Girl (we only make girls at our house) Smile

Do you have a name picked: Nope

Any other children: Two other dd's: Lindy and Lexie

How are you feeling: Pretty darn good! Just up about 3 times a night to pee.

Feeling movement: Oh yes, everyday and LOVING it!

Cravings/Aversions: None

How is your sleep: Up to pee a lot and constantly flipping from one side to the other

What u doing for exercise (if anything): Chasing around a one-year-old

Do u plan to BF or FF or both: Bottle. These HUGE hooters don't produce milk. Sad

What have u bought for baby: Nothing

Are u going to take any childbirth classes/what r u doing to prepare for labor/birth? Nope. BTDT

Home Birth/Birth Center/Hospital? Hospital with an epidural thank you very much! Wink

Something good: We are refinancing our house due to lower interest rates.

Something not so good: MY MIL is dying of cancer. Sad

Anything else you would like to add: Just SO grateful for the blessings of these little children in our home!

Name: Erin

How far along: 27w3d

Boy/Girl/Surprise: Girl!!

Do you have a name picked: Madison Faith

Any other children: Zach, 16 and Kylie, 4

How are you feeling: Overall, pretty good. Minor back discomfort and heartburn, but nothing that's keeping me up at night. I've been sleeping so good!

Feeling movement: Oh yes! She's quite the wiggle worm!

Cravings/Aversions: it would take me forever to list all of my cravings! My diet is so restricted due to GD and I crave everything I'm not supposed to eat.

How is your sleep: Really good! I'm out as soon as my head hits the pillow and don't wake up until the morning when DD comes in to wake me up.

What u doing for exercise (if anything): Not much Sad I'm supposed to be walking every day, but I've been so busy that I haven't been making time to do it.

Do u plan to BF or FF or both: I'm so torn about this. I really want to BF, but I never got very far with my other babies. I have ginormous bbs and flat nipples and that combo makes BF so difficult for me. So, I haven't decided yet if I'm going to stress myself out again by trying or just FF instead.

What have u bought for baby: Stroller, carseat and some clothes

Are u going to take any childbirth classes/what r u doing to prepare for labor/birth? No classes this time. I think since this is my third time I'm as prepared as I'm gonna get.

Something good: I'm so grateful for my family! I have a new appreciation for them after some recent events.

Something not so good: GD is the pits!!

Last baby purchase: bout 4 or 5 outfits from Carter's on Black Friday

Anything else you would like to add:I'm really starting to get excited to meet this baby. I can't wait to see what she looks like!

Name: Lindsay

How far along: 27 weeks 6 days

Boy/Girl/Surprise:Surprise, but I'm trying to will it to be a boy with the power of my mind. Wink

Do you have a name picked:Rebecca Suzanne, since it will probably be a girl we haven't really picked a boy name, maybe Jacob or Zachary

Any other children: Isabelle 4, Marianne 20 months

How are you feeling:Fine, starting to achieve plantary status, heartburn comes and goes, but overall not too bad!

Feeling movement:Yes, my tiny little gymnast is trying to get his black belt before birth

Cravings/Aversions: I think I could only eat cereal for the rest of this pg and be perfectly happy

How is your sleep:Other than heartburn, pretty good.

What u doing for exercise (if anything):Still doing all my cardio and strength training 4 days a week, and tennis whenever I can fit it in (I'm undefeated in one of my leagues. Lol

Do u plan to BF or FF or both: BF for sure, I'm too cheap and lazy to FF

What have u bought for baby: Um, nothing. I have a list though, bottle liners, parts for the breast pump, yeah, fun stuff.

Are u going to take any childbirth classes/what r u doing to prepare for labor/birth? Repeat C section means nothing to do on that front. I am trying to decide who to have in the room with me.

Home Birth/Birth Center/Hospital? Still haven't found the at home c-section kit so I'm going with the hospital again.

Something good: I think I found a new preschool for my 4 year old.

Something not so good:I had to pull my 4 year old out of her old preschool due to extreme bad behavior.

Anything else you would like to add: I have my GD test next week and I'm so worried that I will fail and have to do the horrible 3 hour one!

Great Idea to do a check in!

I just wanted to add that I have this same problem. Gonna give it another shot though, even though it always seems to hurt no matter what I try. Hopefully I'll have better luck this time. Smile

How far along: 26w 4d

Boy/Girl/Surprise: Girl

Do you have a name picked: I think at this rate, we'll be finalizing names between pushes, LOL.

Any other children: Kayla, 10 and Eric, 7 1/2 (he'll be 8 next month!)

How are you feeling: Still struggling a lot with extreme vertigo, which sometimes makes me nauseated. But the "morning sickness" nausea is gone, thankfully.

Feeling movement: All the time, especially at night. I think she thinks I'm a trampoline.

Cravings/Aversions: Still craving spicy food. No real aversions anymore now that the nausea is over for the most part.

How is your sleep: Awful. I toss and turn all night long and pee like crazy. I'm trying to limit my fluid intake before bed to see if that helps.

What u doing for exercise (if anything): Nothing. I have to take it easy because of the vertigo. And walking too much brings on BH so I've been limiting my activity. Sad

Do u plan to BF or FF or both: Gonna try to breastfeed. I made it only 4 months with DD and only 2 months with DS so my goal for this one is at least 6 months.

What have u bought for baby: Nothing. DH bought her some Dodger booties a while back but nothing since.

Are u going to take any childbirth classes/what r u doing to prepare for labor/birth?: No need to since I've been through it twice before.

Home Birth/Birth Center/Hospital?: Hospital with an epidural.

Something good: I've been off work due to the vertigo for about 5 weeks now, so it's been nice to spend more time with the hubby and kids.

Something not so good: I'm really tired of being so dizzy all the time.

Anything else you would like to add: I'm super curious to see what this little one looks like. Both my kids resemble DH a lot (DD looks just like him but in girl form and DS is a mix but still mostly DH) and I wonder if this one might actually take after me.

to the ladies with the big boobs/flat nipples problem...if you decide to try BFing, see if nipple shields help! they helped my friend with that same problem tremendously when she was about to give up.

okay, now here's my check-in...

Name: Amanda

How far along: 26w 5d

Boy/Girl/Surprise: Girl

Do you have a name picked: I'm tired of trying to discuss it and having my ideas shot down, so I guess we will just decide in the delivery room!

Any other children: Asher, just turned 2 last week!

How are you feeling: soreness in my hip joints, but otherwise pretty good

Feeling movement: Sometimes I realize I haven't felt her in a while, but I think it's just because I'm too busy to notice. If I sit or lie down for a moment, I will feel her kicking, and last night I could actually feel where her butt/knees/feet/etc. were! So cool!

Cravings/Aversions: Aversion to sweets due to nausea, chocolate gives me brutal heartburn, but I crave salty foods and dairy.

How is your sleep: Pretty bad because of the pain in my hips...I have to switch sides every hour or so. I also pee 2-3 times per night.

What u doing for exercise (if anything): Trying to fit in a 30min. walk every day, but some days Asher and I only last 15-20 min. outside due to the crazy-cold weather we've been having! Prenatal yoga once a week.

Do u plan to BF or FF or both: BF for 12-18 months.

What have u bought for baby: A couple cute little outfits and a few cloth diapers.

Are u going to take any childbirth classes/what r u doing to prepare for labor/birth?: I'm doing a hypnobabies home course (listening to self-hypnosis recordings on my ipod every day and reading a book). I've also read several other books on natural childbirth. I'm actually excited to give birth again!

Home Birth/Birth Center/Hospital?: Hospital for delivery with a midwife, but I hope to labor at home as long as possible.

Something good: We had a really fun cookie monster themed party for Asher's 2nd birthday, and once that was over, we decorated the whole house for Christmas! It's looking really festive around here.

Something not so good: My closest friend has been distancing herself from me lately due to me being pregnant and her desperately wanting to be pregnant. I've been through infertility myself, so I understand, but I'm not sure how to help her when just being around me seems to make her sad. She just had 2 embryos put in via IVF yesterday, so I'm praying so hard that it works!!!

Anything else you would like to add: Yay for the third trimester!!! This pregnancy is flying by! Biggrin

I still have 3 weeks technically, but my body is measuring 30 weeks...so I'll go ahead and check-in.

Name: Meg

How far along: 25 weeks tomorrow!

Boy/Girl/Surprise: Two beautiful girls!

Do you have a name picked: Taylor Campbell and Avril Justice

Any other children: NOPE

How are you feeling: Great most of the time. Sleeping is getting harder and my ribs/back are getting sore. Besides that I'm loving it.

Feeling movement: It's a jungle gym in there (but only when I'm trying to sleep)

Cravings/Aversions: Chocolate cravings, particularly mounds bars. And milk!

How is your sleep: What sleep? JK. It's OK, I just seem to have to toss and turn a lot to get comfortable.

What u doing for exercise (if anything): I'm not allowed, but my job accounts for a lot of walking.

Do u plan to BF or FF or both: FF. With my job (and its odd, unpredictable hours) and two babies, I don't think I can handle BF. Plus, I was FF, DH was FF, and we both turned out pretty awesome. Wink

What have u bought for baby: Two cribs, two carseats, a pack and play, and the bedding

Are u going to take any childbirth classes/what r u doing to prepare for labor/birth? I'm looking at a C-section, AND my job revolves around birthing most days. I will probably do an L&D tour, but not a birthing class per se.

Home Birth/Birth Center/Hospital? After seeing what I have seen go wrong, definitely a hospital.

Something good: My birthday is tomorrow!!! Wahoo!

Something not so good: I will be working during it. Sad

Anything else you would like to add: T-10-12 weeks. Getting excited!

I'm in denial that we are this far along...

Name: Heidi

How far along: 28 weeks tomorrow!

Boy/Girl/Surprise: Boy

Do you have a name picked: Finn Hudson Smile

Any other children: A few Wink (see siggy)

How are you feeling: I am gettig pretty uncomfortable and tired!

Feeling movement: All the time! The kids have all felt him, too! And Jase, of course Smile It never gets old!

Cravings/Aversions: I've been craving ice cold water and also cottage cheese

How is your sleep: Sporadic. Working nights has given me bad insomnia and I usually get it to some degree when I am pregnant anyway. Not fun!

What u doing for exercise (if anything): Trying not to die from running around the 2 nights I work a week Smile

Do u plan to BF or FF or both: BF for sure. I really enjoy it and am looking forward to it. Elle nursed for 2 years and I am hoping to go at least that long again.

What have u bought for baby: Clothes, cloth diapers, a new moby wrap

Are u going to take any childbirth classes/what r u doing to prepare for labor/birth? I think at this point I could teach the classes Smile I have been trying to do some medatating though and just trying to get myself in a good place to be mentally ready.

Home Birth/Birth Center/Hospital? Hospital. I love our hospital, all of the staff, and my OB!

Something good: It's almost Christmas Smile I have a very close family and we all lvoe spending time together!

Something not so good: I'm still feeling pretty unprepared to have another baby here at home. I feel like we still need to get the crib set up and buy some of the bigger things, but we are waiting until after the holidays.

Anything else you would like to add: I can't wait to see who he looks like! We have 2 distinct groups in our kids: Brodie and Sawyer look alike and then Deke, Tru, and Ellie look alike. I wonder if he will fit into one of those groups or have his own unique look Smile I just can't wait to hold him!

Boy/Girl/Surprise: Girl!

Do you have a name picked: Still playing around with some

Any other children: Nope

How are you feeling: Pretty good besides the rash in my groin, and not being able to breathe when I put my socks on.

Feeling movement: Especially after eating!

Cravings/Aversions: None

How is your sleep: Like most others, tossing and turning all night. And every time I turn from one side to the other, I'm out of breathe!

What u doing for exercise (if anything): Walk the dog

Do u plan to BF or FF or both: I'm hoping to BF while I'm home, but I think it will be too much to try to do it once I go back to work.

What have u bought for baby: Bought some used stuff--clothes, a swing, some other random stuff. Supposed to be getting a crib and pack and play given to us. My DH yelled at me for wanting to buy other stuff, he wants to wait to see what his relatives buy for us but I really don't know if there is going to be a shower.

Are u going to take any childbirth classes/what r u doing to prepare for labor/birth? I should, I'm not sure though.

Home Birth/Birth Center/Hospital? Hospital

Something good: Looking forward to Christmas and the Holidays!

Something not so good: Just outgrew my maternity jeans :busted:

Do you have a name picked: We have a short list, with one favorite.

Any other children: Isabel, 3 years 11 months

How are you feeling: Good! No complaints.

Feeling movement: Yes, he's wiggling right now. I ate ice cream and two chocolates so I think he's having a sugar rush. Oops.

Cravings/Aversions: Ummm... none I don't think.

How is your sleep: I can't fall asleep at night. I lie there for 1-2 hours after turning off the light. That is somewhat normal for me, so I don't think it's pregnancy-related.

What u doing for exercise (if anything): I have horses at home, so I do a lot of farm chores. Other than that, nothing!

Do u plan to BF or FF or both: BF

What have u bought for baby: Just a couple of outfits. I will do more purchasing after Xmas probably.

Are u going to take any childbirth classes/what r u doing to prepare for labor/birth? Um, I have no idea. Need to think about this I guess. I have a doula and I met with her today, and the questions she was asking me made me realize I need to start actually thinking about the birth.

Home Birth/Birth Center/Hospital? Hospital but natural birth with midwife and doula. No epidurals and NO PITOCIN for me, thanks! Those things scare the bejesus out of me! LOL.

Something good: Isabel started unraveling her favorite knitted hat and freaked out, but my friend Kim said she can fix it easily. OK that is lame, but it's the little things.

Something not so good: Lots of work to do, not enough time and motivation to do it!

How far along: 25 weeks TODAY

Boy/Girl/Surprise: As per husband request ... a surprise! The control freak inside of me is going nuts!

Do you have a name picked: It varies. Boy: Brant James ... Girl: Elsie Jane or Elsie Alice

Any other children: Jace, he'll be 3 (give or take a week) when baby is born

How are you feeling: Mostly good.

Feeling movement: Every day! Sometimes it's spurratic, but I always know that baby will be moving around at about 2:00 pm and again at 9pm. I haven't pinned down the other common times yet.

Cravings/Aversions:Not much -- I just like to eat!!

How is your sleep:Generally pretty good! For that I am grateful.

What u doing for exercise (if anything): Not a ton ... oops. I got out of the habit when I was so sick at the beginning. I teach though, so there tends to be a lot of walking in the middle of the day, if that counts.

Do u plan to BF or FF or both:I'll try BF again, but Jace had to go to the ER at 8 days old because he almost starved! I'll turn to formula if things go sour.

What have u bought for baby:one newborn boy outfit and one girl outfit -- to come home in.

Are u going to take any childbirth classes/what r u doing to prepare for labor/birth?nope! Prep the OR

Home Birth/Birth Center/Hospital? I'll have a c-section, so hospital for me.

Something good:Jace will come and give the baby a hug for no reason. It's pretty cute.

Something not so good:When most people stop having morning sickness -- that's when mine started. I've been throwing up almost daily since week 11.

Anything else you would like to add:
I'm trying to figure out how to go to the Hunger Games movie the day it opens. It opens on March 23rd and I'm due March 22nd. I haven't figured it out yet ... but I will. (google the trailer if you haven't seen it .... I cry every time I watch it!!)

yes, lucky for you though ... you are not due the DAY before it opens ..... I'll figure it out. I can have my baby on either the 10th or the 23rd (then I can go to the midnight showing on the 22nd) ...... that way I can go. It'll work ...... right?
