Bursting at the seams...

So, I'm only four weeks pregnant, but I can't zip up my pants. (I know a lot of you said this before in another post, so sorry to repeat) But I swear this bloat was almost instant. And it's not like unbuttoning the top button helps...even some of my stretchy sweat clothes are too constricting. This is baby #2, and I know you get bigger faster with the second, but geez. I'm assuming it's all bloat. How do I get rid of it? I've been drinking water like crazy too (I'm soo thirsty all the time).

Anyone else in this boat?

Chances are there isn't much you can do about it since it is caused by the hormones. Drinking water like you are doing is great as is limiting your salt intake. If it is gas that is bloating you up then GasX is relatively effective and very safe even during pregnancy.

I think we're all in the same boat. You don't wanna get rid of it honey...it's part of pregnancy...enjoy it!!!! Smile I know what you mean though, I'm gonna be getting the maternity clothes down REAL soon.

1) Get a rubber band
2) Loop it through the buttonhole of your jeans
3) Loop both ends around the button.

Not exactly what you're looking for, but it works!

Yep, I've been a bit bloated as well. Especially now that I'm on progesterone. The rubber band trick works really well! I also wear a lot of sweats and yoga pants! lol
