Cannot sleep enough!!!

I know we have chatted about this before but seriously....I am SO FREAKING tired! I don't remember ever being THIS tired with my other pregnancies. Apparently a lot of 3rd time moms are going through the same thing. Hoping it lets up a bit in the 2nd tri but not counting on it.

I have to keep reminding myself that I am pregnant and NOT lazy! I feel like a complete bum these days. Just getting the laundry done is next to impossible! Luckily my mom's club has had some great playdates lately so my kids are being entertained!

I'm right there with ya. I don't remember being this tired with my other two either. And it's not the kind of tiredness that you can just shrug off...there are times where I literally can not keep my eyes open. 2nd trimester is only a few weeks away and I've got some high hopes that it magically makes me feel better! I have the same problem but I also can't get a good night sleep. I go to bed early but toss and turn all night long. 2 nights ago I only got 3.5 hours of sleep before the kids were awake. It's hard to be patient when you're so tired.
I hope you feel well rested soon

Yep, me too. I need 9 hours of sleep minimum these days. I've actually been feeling a little better energy-wise the last couple of days... I just noticed it's 11 pm and I'm still awake!

I hate feeling like I never get enough sleep. I am always getting up with Ivybeth and that makes it feel like I get so much less sleep.

I am the same way! I am pregnant with #3 as well. I can hardly keep my eyes open. I wake up, feel okay, next thing I know I am nodding off. Hopefully it wears off for us all soon.

AMEN! I'm sleeping crappy at night and pretty much require a daily nap. I feel like my nap time is a better rest than my night time! I don't know what's going to happen when I go back to work next week!! EEEK

I couldn't imagine running after two kids right now. We had our nephews for two weeks, but they were old enough that they were able to help us around the house. Now that there gone, I really miss my helpers Sad

It also doesn't help that we just got a 7 month old cat. (We live in the country - our last cat passed a year and a half ago and the mice have moved in Sad We were researching the diseases mice carry and the danger to pregnant women. It was a no brainer, we had to get a cat - hubby cleans the litter box. I don't go near it).

But he has us up every morning by 5. He's either running laps around our bed (on the bed) or purring and laying right by our heads or jumping on our feet. If we close the door, he sits on the other side crying, and trying to squeeze under the door. (He was at the humaine society for 6 months and we think he is lonely. He is very affectionate).

Oops - I am rambling...does anyone else ramble now too?? LOL
