Dr's Appt Yesterday

I went in to see my OB yesterday because when I was 18 weeks my placenta was lying low. Great news! It has moved up as expected. He is measuring 29 weeks and I am just 31 weeks. She said the fluid level is great and his heart rate is excellent. His movement level is also excellent! Overall, great appointment and she doesn't need to see me for three weeks. I wanted to add the most amazing thing about yesterday was seeing our baby take practice breaths. The doctor was amazed because usually females develop faster than boys. Seeing his lungs working made it that much more real! I can't wait to meet my little man!

Great news about your appt! So fun that you got to see your baby taking practice breaths! I didn't even know it was possible to see that. We got a 4D ultrasound over the weekend and it would have been fun to look for that.

What a great appointment! I think I would have cried if I saw my little one breathing in there. So neat!

Yay for great appointment!!! It's almost time! 6-9 more weeks! Whoa!

As for practice breaths, when I was in L&D at 27 weeks, they wanted to see at least 3-4 practice breaths an hour!! So next U/S everyone should look for it!
