Emotional wreck?

My husband affectionately told me today that I am an emotional wreck. Although that is probably true, since I've been crying at the drop of a hat, i do have an excuse...lets see what was it again....oh yeah, I'm pregnant!!"

I can relate to you. I cried over picking out a couch. I just am so moody at the drop of a hat. Doesn't help that DH and I are already fighting over other things (mostly stupid repeatative things) but my hormonal fuze seems to be short as well. Part of the glorious cycle, but here on PG.org, atleast we have others to vent to and who share our same hormonal pregnancies. Smile

I am very much looking forward to not being the giant crybaby I have become. This is something that definitely bothers me more than him, but yeah I would very much like to go a whole day without crying over something!

Oh yeah, I'm definitely way more emotional than normal. DH and I can't have any conversations that are anything even remotely close to "serious" without me crying. So, I usually wind up telling him to just ignore my crying cause I don't even know why I'm doing it half the time! My DS even tod me to quit being so " hormonaly"! Lol!

I think you have a perfect excuse!!! You have a parasite (albeit one we all love dearly) eating at your insides...literally. And being surrounded by 3.5 boys will do it to you. Smile I only have one and he drives me nuts!!! JK JK!

As for me, pregnancy has done wonders. Ed has decided that he going to knock me up all the time b\c "you're normal now."

I think it's b\c of my PCOS. I had low estrogen, low FSH, high LH and high testerone. And i had whacky progesterone. My hormones were all over the place. Pregnancy has stablized that and made me "normal" emotionally. I no longer have a temper!!! And I am more affectionate (blame the decreased testosterone?). Wahoooooooo.

My only downfall is that I do cry now when I hear country songs about loving your SO. He sees that and holds it over my head. Blum 3

i'm like meg...more emotionally stable and happy while pregnant! put me on birth control or clomid and i'm an angry b*tch. i do cry more easily these days, but it's for happy/sentimental reasons. like have you seen the johnson&johnson commercial with the chubby baby getting a bath in the sink? i cry every time!

LOL Amanda. I've been the same way, crying at everything. In fact, I even made a "pregnancy card" in photoshop for the occasion!

Meg, I agree...it might also have something to do with all this testostrone that surrounds me!! My house is full of blue, cars, toy guns, video games, etc. and this baby will only add to the testosterone ocean! But that's ok, because then I'm the only real "moody" one! And trust me, I know myself, it is enough for everyone! Ha! I've always been an extremely emotional girl, and pregnancy just makes it worse.

:lurk:

I feel your pain!!!! I am uber emotional these days, and CRANKY to boot....my poor husband, I love him dearly but the poor guy just can't do anything right these days. I am trying REALLY hard to be patient and not snap on him during every conversation, but at least once a week my fuse runs out and I explode. For absolutely no reason. It sucks, I feel like such a monster.

Ha ha that is the same for me. DH and I rarely have an arguement now. We seem to be on the same pafe and are enjoying this pregnancy together. Now, I still do cry when I hear sappy songs (Or our wedding song) and occassionally I wake up crying, but it's no where as bad as when we weren't pregnant.

Smile DH loves it!
