Guess I'm the only one on to March so far...

Anyone joining me?

Hello Daria!:wavehello:

I might as well be here also. DH and I are embarking on our first month of TTC. AF should be here later today or tomorrow (early signs are already here) therefore I would be Feb 29th or March 1st. Figured I would rather be one of the first rather than last.:p How long have you been at the TTC game?

Hi Ladies!

Good luck to everyone!!

Hi Ladies-

Marsha- Looks like we are cycle buddies. Waiting for AF by tomorrow myself.

I went off the pill in the beginning of April, didn't plan to TTC until this coming cycle, but we threw caution to the wind last month. BFN. Depending on when I O next cycle I could be looking at conceiving a baby on our wedding anniv. Due date would range somewhere between Feb 29th - first week of March, depending.

Hello Jo!

Daria - Your plan sounds a lot like our plan. We were not supposed to start TTC until July but DH said, what the heck! I have been on BC for almost 12 years so I have no idea what to expect from my cycle. I am not confident that I will get a BFP in the first month but you never know.

How long did it take you ladies to conceive your first?

I am super lucky when it comes to this, my first came while I was on the pill  & my second was conceived our first month TTC.

Do either of you temp? Any special "tricks" you are using this month?

Ooh! Fertile! ROFL

Not temping here. I plan to give us 6 months then bring the major tracking/temping "guns" out. We are just going to have fun BDing for now.

I conceived my first on our 3rd try.

I temp and chart maniacally, and I'm using OPK's. My husband refers to all of that as "putting on my lab coat".

ROFL At least he has a sense of humor about it. I hope I have as much luck as y'all!

AF still hasn't fully made herself present yet. I have been having mild cramping and the brown stuff (sorry, TMI) but nothing else. While on the pill, AF was always supposed to show up on a Monday but she usually showed up on Tuesday or Wednesday. I'm not necessarily worried but just want to get on with it already.

On another note, DH is leaving today for Las Vegas for a bachelor party so I have the weekend/house to myself. I will miss him but I am looking forward to "me" time. :bigwink:

Do you guys have any big weekend plans?

"Me time" sounds awesome....no cooking/cleanup all weekend - heaven!!

We are mostly going to be working around the house & yard all weekend, we may (weather depending) take a picnic to the beach on Sunday.

Hope everyone doesn't mind if I pop over as well! I just got my mirena iud removed on May 23rd and AF arrived today (with a vengeance too I might add!). I know it will be my first month TTC so I'm not going to get too overwhelmed with temping and such right now, so we will be keeping it fun I guess!

And I as well will be have a DH free weekend. He is away at a bachelor party for 3 whole nights so it will be just me and DD. Today was my clean the whole house rampage (to get it out of the way before the weekend) and I think I will take DD to the zoo tomorrow.

Looking forward to meeting everyone else!

Hi ladies, I just started AF this morning, so I'm here too now. My FF hasn't updated b/c we are on vacay, and I might not be around much at first as Internet is very spotty here and just the general traveling.

I'm Sophia, 40. We are extremely blessed to have DD, despite currently in her terrible two's. She is just testing just about every boundary possible! We are TTC #2 since August 2009. Just got all my fertility testing done this past cycle, and DH is getting his SA done in July. But being 40, I'm almost certain the problem is with me. I am also a kidney transplant recipient, thanks to DH, I've had his kidney 5 years now and doing pretty good.

I can't believe it's taking me so long to get pg again, but my DD took 6 mths, so maybe I shouldn't be so surprised.

Nice to meet y'all!

Jo - A picnic on the beach sounds nice. Don't think I have ever done that even though I grew up near the beach. (I am currently land-locked in AZ.)

Meredith & Sophia - Nice to meet you both!

Meredith - Too funny! I plan to knock out my cleaning after work so I can just sit back and relax also. I am getting a facial tomorrow morning, then may be a movie.

Sophia - WOW! That IS the ultimate act of love!

My weekend plans involve some outlet mall shopping, and hitting a family BBQ. I was off today because daycare closed for a long holiday weekend, and I got most of the cleaning out of the way and waited for a repairman to show up.

Welcome Meredith and Sophia! I'm glad to see some action starting over here.

Hi ladies i hope you dont mind me joinig in. AF just showed up today so it seems as if some of us are cycle buddies. My cycles last around 34 days. And i have just started using OPK's but other than that we are more JLIH. The only reason i am using OPK's is my doc wants me too because of my PCOS. So here i am....
BABY DUST and GOOD LUCK too all of you Smile :) Smile :)

Meredith.... when i had mine removed i got prego the first time we DTD... so just have fun with it and dont over think it and just go with it this month... they say the first 3 months of getting it out is your most fertile time ever.... now not to get you down but i now have some fertility issues because of the IUDit is called PCOS and was caused by my IUD... so i will not be getting it as birth control ever again.... and i have had it out for a little over 3 years and the PCOS just set in about 3 or 4 months ago... but good luck to you Smile i will keep my fingers crossed for you that it dosent cause the same problems for you and that you get prego right away like i did

:wavehello: I might as well jump on over here as well!
My name is Shannon and SO is Brent and we've been TTC#1 for over 3 3/4 years (or 49 cycles) and have been to many REs over the past few years. We're currently in the process for a testicular ultrasound for SO and have been waiting for almost 5 months for the appointment. Over the past 3 years, I've had numerous blood draws to check my hormone levels, I've had an hsg, many ultrasounds and have even tried clomid (twice), I hated it. SO's done 4 SA's with horrible results, actually the results are getting worse everytime he does an SA. Though with all our struggles, we have managed to conceive twice with no help but have quickly lost both to m/c. Sad

I just took SO away on an anniversary weekend getaway to Boston last weekend during "O" time but unfortunately we went with our best friends, so getting some quiet BD time wasn't the easiest but we managed to at least sneak away twice during the weekend.
I don't have high hopes for a "Little Red Sox" souvenior anyways, so onto March it is! Wink

Nice to meet you all and GOOD LUCK!!

Sorry you had a bad experience with the Mirena. I LOVED it. The first 6 weeks were less than desirable but after that it was great for me! Smile Good Luck TTC!

Cait, I live just a short ferry ride away from Seattle on a little Island in the Sound, sounds like your weekend away is perfectly timed!

Hi ladies, I'm pretty sure I'll be here in the next few days or so. I haven't gotten AF yet but I expect her to show soon. I'm currently 11 dpo and tested with a FRER and it was a BFN. I just have this "feeling" that I'm not pregnant.

I really want a March baby more than any other month. My first m/c was supposed to be a March baby so it would really make me happy to finally be able to stay here.

I'm looking forward to getting to know you ladies and GL to everyone! Biggrin

Well I'm crossing my fingers I'm here. AF should start on the 2nd and then it's time to get to it!! I've waited too long for baby #2! Plans kept getting pushed back and I thought June would never get here. Now that it is, I'm starting to get a little freaked out Lol

Good luck to everyone and hope we get to be board buddies Smile

So excited to go to Seattle, Kevin has NEVER been on the space needle!!
Going to go to a Mariners game and be "adults" for 24 hours. haha Smile Hoping our first night away from DS will be a good luck charm for making another litlte DS or DD! Smile

Hopefully this weather stays nice HAHAHAHA at least not a downpour!

We were just on Whidbey Island a few weekends ago, we took the Clipper up there for a few hours & saw some whales on our way - it was awesome!! Whidbey reminded me a lot of Bainbridge.
