My son wasn't happy about this pregnancy from the start. While my daughter jumped up and down for joy, he buried his head in a pillow at the news. Then he was "kind of" okay with it, as long as it was a boy. Well, once again, my daughter jumped up and down with excitement at the news of getting a little sister and my son just stared at me and then walked away. I asked them last night if they had told their friends yet that they are getting a little sister and, of course, my daughter has and then my son said "I'm telling them the baby didn't make it". I was completely crushed and started tearing up. He's used to being the baby, and he's definitely a mama's boy, but how could he say such a thing? The rest of the night he didn't even apologize or acknowledge that I was upset. I'm really starting to worry that he's not going to adapt well when she arrives.
