A little disappointed ...

Anyone as obsessed about the Hunger Games as I am!?! I CAN'T WAIT until the movie comes out next year. I just realized, however, that the release date is 1 day after my due date. I'm so sad I'm not going to be able to see it on the day it comes out!!!

You thought that this was going to be about something completely different huh!

P.S. ... If you haven't read the books by Suzanne Collins you NEED TO!! It's a young adult novel that grabs your heart strings and takes you for a ride!! READ IT.

I read the whole series in about 3 days. I don't know how I feel about the movie though. They are usually such a disappointment. I'll be home with the baby so I guess that will be the first babysitter he ever has! Smile
I am a huge reader as well. What do you guys like to read, or who might be a better question?

I always get nervous recommending a book -- This one is probably one of my favs though! You know when EVERY kid in the school is reading it ... it has to be somewhat good!

I can't wait for the movie. I have decided that you just have to look at the movie as different than the book. OF COURSE it will be different. If the acting is good -- the plot is good (which hopefully it will be since the book is awesome) and the special affects are good then I'm happy with the remake.

Meg -- hope you like them! Let me know what you think!!

p.s. I read that Suzanne Collins, author of the book, wrote the first version of the screen play for the movie. That has to be a good sign!!

I am always more hopeful when the writer is involved with the screenplay. So maybe it will be awesome. I don't know if there are any Harry Potter fans, but I thought the movies were just as good (even if they left a lot out) as the books.
