Not showing

This is my first baby and today when I went to the dentist the girl said you are almost 20 weeks? You aren't even showing yet!

I wish I had a bump because I have gained 10 pounds.

Are any of you ladies not showing yet?

I know with my first son, I barely even needed maternity clothes until closer to the end. Sucks...but you will have a belly soon Smile

i can totally understand wanting to show and look obviously pregnant, but you probably just have some good abdominal muscles that are holding it all in, and that's a good thing! Smile

i started showing early with my first pregnancy and with this one, too, so i have the opposite problem. people are always commenting on my size like "oh, you're not due til March??? you look like you're about to pop!" sometimes i wanna lie about my due date. i mean, why is the woman bagging groceries telling me that i'm huge?! it's kinda annoying how people always feel the need to comment on a pregnant woman's size in one way or another. 'cause, yeah, those of you that aren't showing much don't really want to hear about it all through your pregnancies either. i've learned to always just tell a pregnant woman she looks fabulous and leave it at that!

Thanks for the reassurance Amanda and Heidi! Smile Strangers usually can't tell right now, but my mom can see the change taking place.

With my first, I didn't start showing until right around this time, so just wait. You're gonna wake up one morning and have popped out. Smile

I am a "shower" and have had big tummies with both. After being on these boards for a while I can honestly say that some women just don't get that big. They still have perfectly healthy babies regardless of their size. People that say you are too big or too small suck, and should be punched in the face. Period.

Wow! Just smile nicely at them and say "didn't your mother ever teach you if you don't have something nice to say, then don't say anything at all??" and walk away (keeping that smile on your face). People don't realize when they are being just plan rude, crass, or ignorant.

Belly is slightly showing, but this is my first too. It shows more after I eat a big meal then in the morning. Only the people closest to me can see a change..strangers in the street can only see my boobs LOL (which unfortunetly have gone up 3 sizes)

I already had fluff with my first pregnancy so it took a while to "look" prego.
