Do you dress up for Halloween? If so, what are you going as this year. If you already have kids, what are they going as?

My family has a big costume party every Halloween where kids and adults dress up. It is always so much fun! All the adults keep their costumes a secret until the night of the party when everyone shows up! Too fun! Jase and I are still trying to decide what to go as...

Brodie is going to be a Royals baseball player
Deacon, Truman, and Sawyer change their mind every 2 seconds!
Elliot is going to be a ballerina!

I don't dress up, but I have some cute halloween shirts that I wear each year, and I always wear like an orange and black hair tie and halloween socks. My kids LOVE halloween. DS#1 wants to be a storm trooper from Star Wars, my DS#2 wants to be Mario from Nintendo.

I might get a Halloween tshirt this year. My older daughter has decided to go as a ghost. My younger one will be an angel.

I'm pretty excited about Halloween this year, but I don't know why! I guess maybe because I'll be that much closer to finding out if I'm having a boy or girl!

DD1 is going to be Alice in Wonderland and DD2 is going to be the white rabbit. Smile Love dressing them in themes. I don't know how long I can keep doing it, but they sure are cute, Smile They were Ariel and Flounder last year.

i would love to get DS an elmo costume since he is SO obsessed with elmo these days. but all the ones i've found are $30-40 which seems a little excessive. i never spend that much on clothes for him, and this is something he'll wear once! so he might just have to be whatever i can find in his size at the secondhand store. Wink

DH and i might dress up a little to take him trick or treating...just something we already have at home, like DH has this ridiculous moose head and i have some bunny ears or other funny hats.

i'm excited for halloween this year since DS will be old enough to get excited about parties and trick or treating and candy!

I LOVE Halloween. I have dressed up every year except twice (because I was dating a guy that was a stick in the mud LOL). I can't wait till my kids are here so I can make them the cutest little outfits. Luckily hubby is game for dressing up. He just gets me to come up with his costume idea - he gets me to match it to mine LOL (One year we went as a priest and vampire another year as too rockers from the 80's)

This year, we are not going out per say - We are heading over to as friends for a Murder Mystery Dinner Party. It's a luau theme, but you get "assigned" a costume idea when you get your character.

I am so looking forward to it Smile

My daughter is wearing one of her dance costumes from this past recital. For now, she's choosing the orphan one (musical theater dance to "It's a Hard Knock Life" from Annie). My son said he wants to be a skeleton. Sometimes I will put on a wig and do cool makeup, or a witch hat or something. Sometimes the parents give me candy too for being "so cool" (in their words, LOL). Biggrin

DS picked Lightening McQueen and I picked a garden gnome for DD. I love Halloween so I'll probably dress up as something but I have to figure out what to do with this belly ;). Last pregnant my EDD was Oct 31. My belly was painted as Humpty Dumpty and I wore a box painted like a brick wall. It was pretty cute
