Teething?

Baby girl just turned 2 months old 2 days ago...she's been a little more fussy than usual, her schedule has been off a bit, and she hasn't been finishing her bottle at all of her feedings. Sometimes it looks like she is hungry, but she just doesn't want to take the bottle. She started to drool a little, which she didn't drool at all before the last few days. My MIL asked me if she was teething...so today I felt around in her mouth and couldn't really tell, and when I looked, on the top gums there is a tiny white spot--I can't really tell if it is something on her gums or if it is a tooth popping through. It is where the canine tooth would be. I think she would be a bit more upset though if she started teething, but I really don't know. Anyone else teething yet?

Does she take a pacifier? My son has been the same way for a few days now, but it's because he's been just wanting something to suck on. I've caught him sucking on his security blanket and hands a lot lately too.

Although, some kids do teeth early. My DD1 was teething between 2-3 months and got her first two teeth around 5 months.

Also, since she's two months old, did she had a check up and get shots? The symptoms could be from that (minus the drool). Usually it's the bottom teeth that come in first, but not always. That's just average I believe.

She doesn't have her 2 month appt until next week, so I figure I'll ask the dr then to check her gums. As for the pacifier, no she just spits it out Smile

Not teething yet but she's drooling, making bubbles a lot and sucking on her fists a lot. The bottom teeth are usually the first to come through. Does the spot feel hard? Could it be a thrush spot?
