Thread: 39 week appointment

Started my appointment today with an NST, baby was looking good and moved more than normal so they were happy. Dr checked me and baby's head is still high, but I'm 3cm (still) and 75% effaced. He said me cervix is ready for labor and did a membrane sweep (so very uncomfortable!) here's hoping something gets started soon!

He was a bit shocked at the size of my belly and said IF I make it to monday for my next appointment they may consider inducing me. Normally they won't here until 41 weeks but I'm so big they'll consider it. However he really doesn't think I will make it to that appointment I'm hoping between the sweep and tonight's full moon I'll go VERY soon!

The time is quickly approaching. This was week 39 appt!!

Another long night of contractions might get you going. If i did not need to stay pregnant at least til the weekend id be experimenting =).

we've been trying to get things going for a while. No reason to stay pregnant any longer! Baby is BIG, she was nearly 7lbs by 36weeks by the u/s. I'm expecting around 9lbs now...
