Thread: Back in baby business

Hello Ladies, I see some familiar faces which makes me sad but happy to possible be sharing a birth board with you. I decided that I needed to take a break from TTC, it was starting to take a toll on me emotional. I've been TTC since September 2010, I was on the IUD for 2 years after having my son and starting having difficulties with it and removed it July 2010, We wanted a summer baby so we started trying In september nothing thinking it would take us long at all since my son was conceived the first month of trying

well i was completely wrong, Im pretty regular when it comes to Ovulating and I get my period every 27 days so I wasnt understanding what my problem was, well i finally got pregnant after 6 months of trying only to result in a m/c, we went into our first prenatal appointment and when i asked for an ultrasound it showed a sac of only 5w not almost 8 weeks, so i got a DNC the next day. We decided to wait the 3 months the dr had advised and started up again. so 6 months later we still havent gotten pregnant and i decided to put TTC on hold

I think im ready to TTC again, im about to Ovulate but we arent trying this month so I'll be hear next month with a due date of the end of March

Hey there! I'm in a similar boat as you. I had a m/c three months ago and while we were only supposed to wait one cycle I had complications so it's been longer. We're not trying this cycle but if I get pregnant next cycle I'll be due late March or early April so I'm still hanging here for now. Keeping fingers crossed that it works for you right away after taking a break. Maybe a break was just what you needed.

oh leah im so sorry for the m/c, I was still lurking for a little bit and noticed that you had gotten a BFP..hopefully your back on the baby wagon soon, If i get another MC i do not plan on waiting the 3 months, im going to be 31 this weekend and my son is going to be almost 5 if i conceive soon. I never thought my children would be this far apart in age

Karen I am sorry to hear of your loss as well. It is terrible to go through a loss and then to be facing problems ttc only adds insult to injury. I hope that your next cycle is the lucky one and you get pg fresh from your break!

Karen, my son will be 4 in July.. and I was thinking I don't know why I waited so long to remove my IUD! if only I had known it'd take me several months to conceive, I would've done it sooner. anyway, I wish you all the luck in the world maybe we can both get our BFPs very soon!

I know what you mean Karen. The crazy thing is that DH and I weren't going to try until September or October of this year originally. I told him I had a feeling it would be difficult to get pregnant and that we'd struggle. So when we knew we could afford it we decided to go for it. It's now been over a year so I'm definitely glad we didn't start this process as late as we had originally planned. I think we'll probably start earlier after our first baby than we normally would have just knowing that it takes so long. I've always wanted ours to be 2 years apart. I'm getting way too ahead of myself though since we don't even have one yet. Lol. Hopefully we'll all get BFPs this cycle!

Hello Karen! I remember you too! I'm still TTC since last Sept and no luck. I've had what I believe to be 2 chemical pg and no luck Hopefully it will happen soon cuz my Hubby is about to give up. he will not go past Nov which is my 38 year birthday.
