Bump?

I'm only about 6 wks, and I can't suck in my tummy like I used to. It took until 8wks with ds2. This is getting real.

Biggrin

Same here, I figured it would take a while because I'm starting out bigger but if you look at my pics in my space there's a definite difference! NONE of my pants fit, with the exception of my stretchy yoga pants and even one pair of those is so tight it's uncomfortable!

I am seeing a difference too ... And feeling it. I started out big so I think baby is just pushing all the fluff out. I thought it would take longer though! I'm only wearing my jeans when I go out and then I'm only wearing them until I get home. I change immediatley ... Which includes taking my bra off becaus emy boobs are so sore! I am going to buy some maternity or just extra yoga pants soon. Probably at the beginning of August. I'm going to need them to sit in a desk all day at school!

I'm starting maternity shopping now too, plus my mother is shopping for me in Arizona and sending stuff to me with my Dad next weekend Smile he's coming up for an adventure race! There are NO stores here in our city that carry any maternity clothes. Nothing, zip, nada!

We have a motherhood maternity at our mall. Target carries some maternity so I will look there too. Other than that I'm still not really sure where to look. I might order some stuff on online but I hate getting clothes online.

Thank God for this thread. I thought I was crazy. This is my first, but it kinda hurts to suck in my tummy (which is kinda fluffy to begin with). I am not sure that I am ready for maternity pants, but they are in my immediate future! lol

I'm not skinny either, but I'm tall and tend to carry low (I've got a pelvis like a bathtub, girls!), so it doesn't really interfere with my clothes. Mostly, I can just feel everything stretching.

Marsha--You are not crazy! And just so you know, your hip circumference is probably getting bigger about now, too, so you may want to go ahead and pack up anything that is fitted around the hips. That starts at the beginning of the pregnancy and then finishes up in the last tri.

omg i'm so glad for this thread too! i'm starting to notice a difference in my pants and bra as well but i thought it was just in my head! I need to buy pants for work and then we are ordering scrubs to wear in the preschool so that will be nice and comfy. i can't wait!

OMG my belly!!! We went to a b'day party for our friends oldest daughter (she's turning 4) and my friend is also expecting but she's due in September. We'll I'm nearly as big as she is!!! Seriously I'm going to be enormous! my yoga pants which I've been living in? Well now I'm wearing them backwards so that they don't cut me off mid belly because it's so uncomfortable. If I don't get some maternity clothes soon I'm going to have to go naked! lol

Omg Crystal one of my best friends is due August 16. She is so freaking tiny still I'm probably going to be as big as her when she delivers. Haha.

I read somewhere that mothers who are not 1st timer moms do show their pregnancies much earlier. The reasoning behing it is that our uterus is already stretched (unlike a 1st time mom) so the bump can easily be filled sooner. I'm not sure if I am already showing since I am not a tiny gal, but I already feel uncomfortable sleeping on my stomach (my favorite sleeping position) Sad So I have already started sleeping on my sides.
