    Default Doc appt. update!

So I had my u/s today to check my follicles. I was so nervous and was preparing myself for the worst news ever but it was really about as good as it could have been. Thank goodness!!! I have two eggs. One is super mature I guess at 19 and ready to go soon and the other is smaller and may or may not mature. That's exactly what happened on the cycle I got pregnant though so I'm good with that. Doc said that lining was good and healthy, eggs were good and healthy, and looked like a fertile environment. He said he'd be surprised if I didn't get pregnant right away and thinks this may be the cycle! Yay! He's also not taking any chances after the m/c and so now I'm taking baby aspirin and progesterone supplements as well as folic acid and metformin. He also said that when I get pregnant he'll follow me for 10-12 weeks instead of the usual 8. He said he would watch me very very closely and we'd do everything we could to keep me pregnant. I'm so so so so so relieved! I'm also excited! I'll probably O Wed or Thurs which is right on track with how I O'd on Femara last time. I was so worried my body would be a mess after the m/c and cytotec and birth control and d&c but it seems to be responding just like it did before. I'm so happy right now!!! At least if it doesn't work we know that everything is working correctly right now and if it doesn't happen it's just one of those things and not because there's something wrong with me.

Also, for any taking progesterone supplements...it's just once a day right unless they tell you otherwise? They don't think progesterone is a problem because it was in the normal range before but they just aren't taking any chances. I thought he said once a day at night but I was so excited I totally forgot, and the office is closed now. Oops. And how does doing the vaginal inserts relate to DTD? If we DTD at night and I'm supposed to do the inserts at night can I do the inserts after DTD? I worry about yeast infections. I have major issues with those thanks to a compromised immune system. Anyway, any insight would be good. Thanks ladies! I hope I get to stay here with you!

Great news! Congrats, Leah, hope this is your month!
P.S. Sorry, don't have any insights re progesterone use. Are the inserts hard or more liquid-like? If it's the latter, then it shouldn't be much of an issue with DTD, right?

I only did the shots, and those were once a day starting the second trimester.

Thats awesome news Leah!!! So happy you are responding so well. I really hope we BOTH get to stay here! I have no idea about the progesterone. I would think you could do it after DTD???

YAY Leah!!!!! I would call the Dr and ask about the progesterone. I would think you could do it after DTD and then go right bed. If I have to use monistat or anything like that i do it right b4 bed so i'm not messy during the day LOL. so that would make sense. but i really don't think the dr would mind if you called them.. that's what they are getting paid for right?

Thanks ladies! I called the doc this morning...still waiting for them to call me back. Might be a fertility clinic day for the doc or something. I suppose it's not the end of the world if I end up starting it a day late or something since it's mostly "just in case" for me and they really don't think I had an issue with it before. I'm feeling some O pains after Zumba today so I wonder if that means I'll O tomorrow...it's really light right now. Usually it hurts when I O. I hope it's not today since we didn't DTD last night because the doc said Wed or Thurs and we thought we needed a rest day as we've already been DTD since CD9. Lol. At least I'm O'ing around a holiday and DH will be home.
