Feeling icky all day :(

I'm having all day sickness i guess. I mean... it's a good sign but man, it's hard to eat enough when you are sick all day. I'm not just queezy tho it's like gassy or something. I'm ready for the 2nd trimester to begin!

*lurker*
I had the WORST MS with this pregnancy. A coworker knew I was preggo before I told her because I sat in a meeting green and munching crackers. Here's to the 1st tri passing quickly. It's worth it!

I am having all day sickness as well. For me it does not give me comfort as I had it so bad with Bailey and it continued for a few weeks after I had the d&c.

I have the all day sickness, too. I don't actually throw up (*knocks on wood*) but I feel like I could all day long. I find that munching constantly holds it at bay a bit. And comfort foods are all I can tolerate, forget eating healthy.

my all day sickness hasn't really started yet. I mean, I'm mildly queasy most of the day, but that's nothing compared to what it'll probably be like soon. I barely ate for 10 weeks with my first two (and I started at 100lbs... not good). With #3 I had zofran and it made a world of difference. I have some for this time, I just have to go pick it up. Thank goodness.

I've never had zofran... with my 1st 2 I was sick for the 1st 5 months but they didn't give me anything cuz he said as long as i could keep some food down and stay hydrated it was normal Sad I will have a different doc this time since i'm in a different state so we shall see if he will give me that if i get really sick.

In the past, I have found that eating pasta helps. With my last pregnancy, I made chicken corn soup (without the chicken:) ) and ate that at least 3 times a day (starting at 9am), everyday for months! It was the only thing that worked for me. I hope that you find relief soon!

Gina - good luck. When I was pregnant with my 3rd and got zofran I felt so angry with the doc I had for my first two pregnancies. I'm not sure why they let me suffer like that instead of offering me medicine. I understand some people object to any unnecessary medicine during pregnancy, but if you can barely eat and barely function I think it's necessary!

I agree! and i think I actually have some of this upstairs from when i was getting panic attacks and was nauscious all the time. i won't take anything without talking to the dr first of course but it's nice to think i already have it Smile and yes i'm kinda ticked at my dr but i know he's super careful about everything so maybe that's all it was.

oh my goodness! I use it for that, too. I had the zofran from my last pregnancy and when I get anxious (usually only in the middle of the night when I'm half asleep) the zofran takes care of it completely. so funny that you use it that way, too.

wow that's cool that i'm not the only one! I wonder why anxiety is often worse when you're trying to sleep? That happens to me to... or when I 1st wake up I start to think "oh god can I really do this again? Having a baby isn't easy am I up for it?" and I start to get anxious. which is silly cuz i've been wanting this for so long!

oh, it's not baby. the rare times my anxiety happens at night it's usually because I don't fully wake from a bad dream or am having trouble sleeping deeply and worry about that. Sure, I'm anxious about adding a 4th, but I think the excitement is slowly winning out. Wink
