    Default Had an ultrasound afterall

I didn't even ask for it the Dr just told me I was getting one. So my husband came from work and it was stressfull but he got there. The did the scan and saw the sac and the yolk sac but no baby yet. He said I look to be about 5 or 6 weeks which is where I thought i was (6 weeks 4 days) and has me coming in 2 weeks to see the heartbeat. It's a little scary but i'm not gonna let myself get upset over it. I'm just gonna look forward to going back in 2 weeks to see the baby!

yay for an u/s. Sorry it didn't show more. I think that's probably one of the reasons they usually wait a little longer. I hope everything looks good in 2 weeks.

Glad u got an u/s sorry it didn't show the baby yet though. Sure it's too early yet the baby is so tiny right now. Can't wait to hear about the good u/s in two weeks.

Glad you got your u/s. I like your outlook on it. I'm in the same boat except my doc made it seem like a bad thing. I wish they hadn't. It seems to not be uncommon

yeah my doc said it's very normal and he's not worried at all. He just acted like it was a positive thing that i get to come back in 2 weeks to get another ultrasound so i get to see the little bean twice

Sorry Gina, I thought I had replied on this. I'm glad that they did an ultra sound and it sounds like you have a nice doctor. I had one at a little over 5 weeks, just saw the sac. I was hoping to see more but looking forward to going back for the next one. On one hand it's nice being able to peek in there with early ultra sounds but at the same time, it makes you worry a little since things can vary so much. Looking forward to hearing about your next ultra sound!

Yes I am anxious for Aug 2nd to get here! When do you go back? I agree it was nice to get one but I almost wish I hadn't cuz now I have to worry. My nausia is not as strong right now so i'm hoping that's not a bad sign. I'm still super tired tho so I'm sure that's a good sign. Ugh I just hate not knowing.

I know this stage is so worrisome!!! I don't go back until aug 10th which seems so far away! My doctor is very popular in the office and gets booked up quickly. He delivered my last two, knows my history and I really trust him so I like to only see him. I might talk to one of the nurses to see if she can squeeze me in somewhere sooner. Try not to worry (haha, easier said than done I know) about the nausea. I'm sure that in no time you will be wishing for it to go away! Mine hasn't really hit yet but it did at different times with all my other pregnancies. It started late with my ds, I actually thought I was one of the lucky ones that wouldn't get it, HA was I wrong. I hear ya about the fatigue, I just want to sleep ALL THE TIME! My poor kids
