holding your pee for a test

I've heard some people say that the test was taken after a 4hour hold. Shouldn't your urine have the same amount of HCG in it if you hold it for 1 hour as it would for 4 hours? the longer you hold it the more HCG there is?

please explain this logic to me. Smile

ETA: btw...my eyeballs are floating i have to pee so bad. LOL but I want to hold as long as I can just incase.

This is why home tests recommend fmu. You'll have the same amount of hcg no matter what, the difference is how much it's diluted by what you've had to drink. Your fmu, for example, is very concentrated because you haven't diluted it by drinking anything for several hours. After a certain point in pregnancy, though, it won't matter. There will be enough hcg to show up on a test no matter what.
