Time is going so SLOW

Ugh! Waiting to O is taking FOREVER this cycle. Lol. I'm a little concerned since this is our first cycle back TTC since the loss that I'll go insane during the 2WW, but right now not being in the 2WW is driving me nuts. I hav 25 ICs just sitting there in the bathroom, looking at me, waiting to be used once I'm 10DPO or so. Lol. I know my chances are probably at least as good as they were when I got pregnant last time since I respond so well to the Femara but it's driving me nuts waiting to find out if I'm still responding well to it. I have my u/s to check my eggs on Monday. The week was going by fairly quickly until today and now it's all going super slow. I hope I can stay busy all weekend!

I'm so sorry Leah ! Everything about TTC drove me nuts and now that I'm pregnant not knowing everything is okay is driving me nuts. I can't wait until I have a baby in my arms ! I think that is the only thing that will allow me to calm down Sad I hope that WTO starts to go by a little faster.

What are you up to right now to keep busy?

We are planning a party for my in-laws at the end of July so I'm working on that. We are also taking a week vacation in July. And I'm decorating our room for the first time. All to keep busy and try not to focus on the baby, but they are all temporary fixes !

I hear you Leah! I hate waiting to O and the 2ww. this last cycle went so super fast for me cuz i thought we were done trying. I was so sure i threw out my prenatals and everything. I checked with an OPK on CD 16 on a whim and it was SUPER positive and DH decided to take a shot and try. So it was a whirlwind for me because I had no idea we were even gonna try LOL. I was concentrating on moving on and trying to find a job. Now I have been interviewing and I'm pg so i don't know if it's such a good time for me to start back into the workforce. ugh! Sorry... didn't need to vent in your thread. But i hear you on it being slow. I think when we can get our minds on something else it goes by so fast. That is the point I was trying to make this whole time but it kinda took a round a bout way LOL. Do you have a favorite Author? I love to read and right now I'm reading Debbie Macomber's Cedar Cove series and they are the best books I've read in a LONG time! I look for things I can do with the kids where i can just sit back and read they are that good LOL Might help the time go by faster for you Smile GL Hun!

Thanks ladies! Smile Gina you can vent any time you want. I'm all open to vents whenever or wherever they happen. Lol. Without venting we'd all go insane. Haha. Today I visited my mom and spent most of the day with her so today went by relatively fast. I'm finding though that when I'm done with everything I start to go insane. I guess I just got to bored tonight. I was fine until DH and I were done with dinner and there was nothing interesting on tv. I just started thinking and couldn't stop! This weekend is going to make me nuts too. My mom is going to be out of town for 10 days and probably out of cell reception area. Calling her all the time is another way I deal. Lol. My poor mommy. She handles the freak outs so well though.

This weekend it looks like DH and I will be taking my parents to the bus station for them to leave for their trip and maybe go on a small hike. We've already started DTD just in case I O early. So that gives us something to do that's somewhat productive. Lol. Normally we're insanely busy on the weekends going camping or out of town somewhere...it would be the one weekend I wish was crazy busy that we have less to do. I'll come up with something I'm sure. Maybe I'll just sleep a lot. I've been so tired. DH says it seems to him I'm always exhausted around O time so maybe that's a good sign.

I need to just go to bed now...oh and I have a LOT of favorite authors. Unfortunately, since I'm not working this summer I've already read everything that I'm interested in right now...in fact I'm rereading everything and am on the last book of one series...I might read World Without End next. That's the sequel to the Pillars of the Earth book but those are a little harder to get into sometimes. OK...bed time. Lol.

Leah I'm re-reading the twilight series right now on my sister in laws kindle account. It's not my favorite but it does help fill the gaps when I can't make my mind stop ! I'm also listening to the wheel of time series which I am loving but I find that my mind wanders more when I'm listening right now so I haven't been doing it as much. DH and I love Christopher Moore. His books are hilarious. DH is reading his newest Sacre Bleu right now and then I am going to read that.

Thanks girl! I think I may have found a new series to read that sounds interesting enough. I've really been liking the dystopian books lately so I'm going to try another series I think. I can't remember the name or the author at the moment...good thing I saved it on Amazon. Lol. I already read Divergent and Insurgent twice each. I've read the twilight series about 5 million times now. Haha. I've read all the Cassandra Clare books repeatedly. I have all 7 of them. I've also read the Graceling series which is what I'm rereading now. I'm almost done with the last book again. And I read Pillars of the Earth which is super long. I read a lot...Lol. Maybe DH will let me get this new one I found this weekend. That'll help. Smile

I know I know! I thought last cycle the 2ww would be awful and it was lol but I didn't expect the waiting to O to be as bad as it was either. I fretted something fierce that I wasn't gonna O at all. It's sucking this time too I'm POAS (OPK) two times a day just for something to do!! I've been trying to stay off the boards so as not to obsess more than I already am! I need to meditate or something lmao!

Well at least we know we're not alone. And we're cycle buddies Tiffany! I totally took an hpt last night. Lol. I didn't feel good and I can't help but panic that something is going to happen in a different way and I'll get pregnant but not know it soon enough and then lose it again or something. Ugh! Just two more days and then I get my u/s and I'll know how things are measuring up. Plus DH is officially off work for the weekend so I won't be alone. Lol. Now I'm getting excited! I hope so bad that my appt goes well. Oh and last night I noticed my cm changing like it tends to before O. I hope that's a good sign!

Yeah its awesome you get to go for an u/s to see the follies developing! Im doing it old school lol. I can usually tell pain wise though when I O it hurts pretty bad for a few hours. I did notice some wet CM and a big CP change so I think I am gearing up to O. Cd 14 or 15 is my guess but its happened later than that too.

OMG if you like dystopian books you need to read Pandemonium by Lauren Oliver. SOOOOOO good! I also read Matched by Ally Condie and that was really good too. they are both the 1st of a series. I love to read!

Thanks for the support ladies! Today went by super fast thankfully so I just have to get through tomorrow and then I get to go to my appt. DH and I started DTD just in case I get there and I'm told I O'd early or something. Lol. I guess my biggest worry is that I'll respond to the Femara differently if my body is different post m/c. So far things feel pretty normal though.

Gina thanks for letting me know which books you liked. I ended up going to BAM and got 3 books because they had a 3 for 2 deal. I got Delirium by Lauren Oliver, ummm...another one by her I forget what it's called right now but it's her first book. And I got the I am Number Four book that they made into a movie. I'm sure the book is better and I thought the movie was cool. All series books. Next time I'll get Matched. They had that too but it wasn't in the sale deal so I got the other three for now. I'm sure that'll keep me busy for a few days. I told DH that I'd be busy through all of the 2WW with those books and he said..."No you'll read all of them within 3 days and be going insane again". I do tend to read really fast if I'm not busy enough. Thankfully, I'll have other things to do. My parents are out of town and I'm going to check on their house while they're gone and they live 30-45 mins away near my doc office. So after my appt. Monday I'll go by there and do some things for my mom and then I have to go back again later in the week so that's two days that I'll be busy. Plus the 4th is Wed so DH will be off and I'm sure we'll have some family something to do.

I think I'll make it. Lol.

Oh and Good luck Tiffany! I hope you O soon too. Looks like we might O on the same day. I'm almost always CD15 or 16 for a medicated cycle. Yay!

I'm lucky the 2ww will fly by this month, i have an insane week at work, lots of court work ( guess i need to make sure i have all my best court outfits ready) interviews which is a new experience for me as a oanel member and deciding if i want to apply for a promotion which would purely just be for the experience as i know i won't get it. I tend to just go along as though i am not pregnant at all, worked for me last time and no early testing for me, if af doesn't shiw then i'll poas.

I used to be really good at not testing until AF shows...and then I m/c and I know I'll be crazy about it now at least for the first cycle back. When I got pregnant I tested early cause I just felt so bad and I just had this feeling...now that I know I can test early and get a positive I'll be insane about it I'm sure. I got a really clear positive too...no question about it. I was 11DPO though so I'll try to be good and not test until then at least. Lol. I'll stay as busy as I can and try to pretend it doesn't exist. There's also a possibility I may not test at all if I don't feel anything since I did so early last time. Here I go contradicting myself again. I guess I'll just wait and see since I haven't even O'd yet. Lol.

I imagine if I do get a BFP I'll use every IC I have (25) and also get another few brands to verify. Plus I'll get a digi too...just because. Lol. I'm ridiculous.

Yup, last time i got a positive on an ic, then a frer and a digi, then once i was running out of pg tests started on the leftover opks. I think if i have the same issues this time i will be buying a few more ic's just to give me piece of mind seeing as my dr doesn't have a doppler either so it's not until 20 weeks that i hear the heart beat at appointments. I can wait until birth for gender but am so impatient when it comes to knowing everything is ok

I'll get early ultrasounds at least since I'm still with the RE and I'm high risk. They said I'll have an ultrasound every 2 weeks for probably my entire pregnancy. I guess that might be true even more so after m/c. I'm not sure. Sadly that probably won't calm me down a whole lot though. Lol. I guess we'll just have to see. Staying busy is what I need to try to do right now and keep my mind off of it as best as I can. Smile Hopefully, neither one of us will go to crazy.

Want to come share my workload for the next couple of months, there is enough there to stop anyone dwelling on anything and going crazy

I'm the same way! I'm 14DPO today and it's the first day since 8 DPO i didn't test. I have 1 more "good test" to use and I want to wait a few days cuz i want to see that line get super dark. I have a million IC's too but they only seem to get so dark. LOL we are all nuts!

Oh I am excited cuz I'll get 3D ultrasounds with this pregnancy because of my age (I'm 37) so that's exciting. I don't know how often maybe every 2 weeks? I hope this one sticks cuz DH said after I turn 38 he's not willing to try anymore cuz he's afraid of my age Sad

OH and I'm so glad you got those books... I think the 1st is pandemonium right? I loved both of those and can't wait to read the 3rd... it's not out yet. She also wrote "before I fall" which i haven't read yet but i have. I hear it's good! Girl you need to get a Kindle I have so many books I could just give you Blum 3 I just got "I am Number Four" cuz I never heard of it before and you mentioned it here Smile Looks good! yay!

I took 2 digi's and 3 FRER's. I only stopped because the doctor is doing blood tests now. I had one Thursday and one yesterday. I should have the results tomorrow and then I have one Thursday again and hopefully an ultrasound in there somewhere! If my FRER's hadn't been getting significantly darker I probably would still be testing at home too Smile its so reassuring to see the positive over and over!

I can't wait for my dr to do blood tests. I don't go for my 1st visit till July 19th tho and I've never gone to this dr before for pg so i don't know how he handles things.

I was expecting to have to wait until about 8 weeks but my DR recently changed the way they do things. They see every pregnant patient within a week to confirm pregnancy, do a pap, blood work, and answer any concerns. MUCH more reassuring than with Ashlynn. We had to wait the traditional 8 weeks but were able to hear the HB at the first appointment so we knew she was safe and sound Smile I was less than 4 weeks when I got my BFP. Waiting a month would have killed me. We are going on vacation next week 7th - 13th. I'm praying we get an ultrasound Thursday so we know everything is ok before we leave. I feel great so far so fingers crossed !

I hope this time flies by for you! How are you feeling ?

After a scary weekend (pink-brown discharge that turned into blood!) and a two ER visits for blood work, I'm extremely relieved that my Betas have doubled in 36hours! We got a quickie u/s with the porta machine but didn't really see much. My levels were a tad low for 6 weeks so I think my original O date from TCOYF might have given me the right EDD after all, we'll see in 2 weeks when I have my normal u/s Smile

Crystal I'm so glad that everything looks good. You have been on my mind all weekend and I've said lots of prayers for you Smile I bet TCOYF was right... the DR wheel was never right for me.
