You must be my opposite number. I CRAVE water during pregnancy (this is the third time for this craving). I'm not thirsty. I literally crave the flavor of water.

Oh No. It is not making me sick but I just want to drink cherry coke. I have to force myself to drink the water right now. What are you drinking? I think I would try kool aid.........mmmm now I want some tropical punch kool aid (I know it has sugar but then you could control how much mix you use).

Harper35 you are lucky.....that is the best craving ever.

I'm also drinking a little Kool-Aid and a glass of milk a day and then trying to stick to water ... it's hard but I don't hate water and it isn't bothering me yet so it isn't impossible. I just wish my DH would give up soda and crappy drinks too ! It would make life easier

I'm another water fan. But, I never really drink anything other than water or milk except occasional decaf unsweetened ice tea. I'll admit I got some lemonade mix yesterday, but that's mostly because I'm prone to low blood sugar when pregnant and would like to avoid fainting this time around.

I was also craving water, with LOTS of ice. But the past few days my nausea has increased so much that there is little I can stand. I just think about food and I want to vomit. I am going to have to get some unisom to help out with this because I've lost 3 pounds this week as I can't eat or I throw it up after.

good luck with the unisom. Has it worked for you in the past? It's never been enough for me, unfortunately.

It has always worked, but I'd take 1/4 - 1/2 a pill then work up to one pill. What was horrible about it was that it made me so very sleepy and on top of already being sleepy - not so good. I would take it at night about 2 hours before bedtime or less and then the next day I'd be kind of ok - not great but not throwing up every single thing.

    Anyway hoping for the best!

I'm so jealous of you ladies who are drinking milk! I totally crave milk, too, but it makes me nauseous to drink it this time around.

In the past, I've tried to satisfy the craving during the first tri, since milk spikes my glucose later in pregnancy.
