Woohoo!

Morning sickness has kicked in! I've never had it this bad before!

I know some of you thought I was crazy to wish for ms, but I'm so thrilled to feel like cr*p! I've always had a little bit of queasiness in the first tri for other pregnancies, but never like this. Maybe that means girl?

Baby is also definitely going through a growth spurt. I'm having ligament pains like crazy, and I'm having to adjust how I sleep to accommodate the growth of my uterus. I know this week (between 7 and Dirol is a major period of growth, but, again, it's never been like this before. I'm just sooo grateful for all the reassurance my body is giving me.

Now I'm more excited than scared about the ultrasound in two weeks.

I'm going by the growth pages on parenting.com. Baby is supposed to double in size this week.

I'm actually pretty excited about my upcoming u/s, now, because I looked up what a 9wk baby looks like on u/s, and you can actually see arms and legs! In my five previous pregnancies, I've had two 6wk u/s, one 7wk (to confirm a m/c), a 14 wk, and two u/s done after 37 wks. So I think it's really neat to see an ultrasound for a stage of development I haven't seen yet.

I looked at parenting.com....thanks. With my second child at 12 weeks I got an US & it is a perfect profile of a baby. It is amazing how fast they actually look like little humans but super duper tiny.

I know. I was absolutely amazed when I had a 14 wk u/s last time around. With ds1, I had a u/s at 39wks, and it was so cool to look at the picture a few days later, after he was born. It was like looking at a photo!

I don't think it's crazy at all. Smile

In fact, I was thrilled when my m/s kicked in because I'm always sick and the one pregnancy where I wasn't too bad, I miscarried (very early) so I was nervous that I wasn't feeling sick this time around. It's been soooooooo much worse than my other pregnancies that I too am hoping that this means girl!
