TWW

I'm officially in my first two week wait.. Knowing I ovulated for the first time, is amazing enough but I would love for this to end in a bfp.. We all would right?? Smile

So who's with me? I'm 2dpo.. Giving me a hopeful EDD of March 5th..

Let the obsessing begin!! (oh and it doesn't help that i'm on prometrium, so I probably won't be able to tell the difference between real symptoms and the progest.)

Yayy a buddy! Thank you and I hope you get yours as well! My blood test is scheduled for the 25th which is I think 14dpo.. But uhhh I'll most likely test at 12dpo.. How about you?

Oh I am gonna test on 6dpo to make sure the trigger is gone..

Fingers crossed for a bfp. The 25th is my birthday so maybe birthday girl bfp vibes will help that day

I always end up testing way early even though I have had bad experiences. Last month I tested at ~9dpo and got a BFP only for it to end up as a CP. But I still plan on testing early this month. So I will probably start at 9dpo again which will be this coming Tuesday.

Okay I tested yesterday morning, and I believe the trigger is out! There was a super duper faint line, but sooo faint I could only see it at a certain angle.. So I'm pretty sure it's out.. Feeling normal no symptoms.. And FF still did not give me CHs, I wonder why!?

I'm here now, temp went up this morning, and I think the pain I had yesterday must have been O pain. It was my whole pelvis area feeling like it was being pushed and aching.

I'm in the tww now, I'm only 1-2 dpo. I plan on testing on July 4. Hopefully I can stay busy in the meantime Smile

Well I appear to have O'd last night or early this morning so I'm officially in the 2WW! Yay for O'ing on my own and no fertility drugs for at least 6 months! I'm so excited! I got a bunch of positive OPKs, had major O pains and a slight temp rise this morning. So now onto the next state of waiting. Smile

When does Fertility Friend usually tell you you O'd? I know I O'd a day or two ago, and my temp has gone up twice since then. Does it take a few days to show up? Also, I'm really hoping to wait to test this time, but...I make no promises. Lol.

I thin k it's 3 days of temps over the cover line, so it usually shows up 3dpo

Okay good. I think I'm 2DPO today so it should be tomorrow. Could be one more day though too I suppose since I may have O'd after midnight. I'm new to charting. So far it's kind of fun. Lol. I bet I won't think that by the end of the 2WW when I'm freaking out an analyzing every little thing.

I like charting because I know what is happening. I hate charting when I have a nice looking chart and nothing. It's a double edged sword. I am terrible at interpreting charts though.

Leah, you should get crosshairs in another day or 2. You need three days of sustained temps over the coverline. Based on your temps you might need another 2 over the coverline before get CHs

I'm glad I'm charting this month since I had no idea if I would O or not and my doc is going to do a day 21 progesterone to see. Obviously I know now that I did but normally I don't know and I'm on pins and needles waiting for him to call me back to find out if I did or not. I get all stressed out and it's so upsetting when I don't. Now I know ahead of time so the results shouldn't be a huge surprise.

Also I got my CHs today! Smile Yay!

My Ovulation Chart

Oh look my chart is looking flat. Doctors appointment tomorrow so hopefully she will give me the referral to the fertility clinic

I still don't know a ton about charting. Isn't it good if the temp is still above the cover line or does it need to continue to rise daily?

I can honestly say that going to the fertility doc changed everything for me. They handle it all so differently and I thought ultimately that it would be really depressing but they're usually very positive and committed to getting you where you need to be. If I was still at my OB right now we'd probably still wouldn't know I have Endometriosis.

It needs to stay above the cover line, but my personal experience is never getting a bfp with a flat chart.

It's still going to take some time to get into the fertility doctor, I have to arrange time off work and my hubby can not get time off, we have to work around his days off, plus the nearest clinic is an hour and a half away so it will get very time consuming and expensive for us. My GP doesn't believe there are any issues because my charts clearly show me ovulating with decent luteal phases. Hubby's SA was normal bar the raised Leucocytes, so basically our local GP doesn't really care

Yay for natural O!! I'm sure that is a lot of worry off your mind. Good luck!

I'm confused. Did your GP you saw yesterday do a referral for you?

I'm sorry you have to wait to get in. Ours is an hour away which wasn't too bad when DH worked a few minutes from home for his step dad and could get off whenever he needed. Now he works 45 minutes in the other direction from the fertility clinic so if we get into doing IUI or anything like that in the future it could get more complicated.

There are other things that can cause you not to get pregnant other than not O'ing or having a LP defect so I wonder why your GP has such a whatever attitude towards it. With that said though, I have quite a few friends who got pregnant with some of their worst looking charts so anything can happen. I also know a bunch who had triphasic charts and didn't, so you just never know. That of course is what sucks about TTC, you never know. Not what you want to, when you want to, etc. Lol. I was mad obsessed with every little thing last time we were TTC and we've had an 8 month break so I'm hoping I'm calmer this time...I kind of doubt it though. Lol.

I haven't been to see the good GP yet, my appointment is tomorrow. The useless local GP we see is the one we saw last week who won't give us the referral.

I hope your good GP gives you a referral! It can't hurt to get checked out, and if nothing else will hopefully calm your mind. Good luck tomorrow!

I'm having a lot of breast tenderness for so soon after O. I hope that means it was a good healthy O and my progesterone is doing what it's supposed to. I don't even want to have to take progesterone supplements again. It's so evil!

And yes a HUGE worry off my mind. I think I can kind of relax and not worry so much about whether or not I'm pregnant because I know it'll happen eventually since my body is doing the right thing. Granted I'm only 3dpo...we'll see if I mention the word relaxed in a week. Lol.

Haha, in the TWW wait I always wonder if I have breast tenderness from being pregnant or because I have squeezed them 500 times that day to see if they were tender and sore.

I just cried over nothing, but that could be anything, bad night sleep, boredom, etc

Hi all! I can't believe how many BFPs are here already. I feel like this is earlier than normal for so many. Must be lucky Wink

I'm headed on a 3 day beach trip on the other coast with my inlaws (who are fun-loving drinkers) and so torn on what to do.) I really don't want to drink, especially since I already did at like 2 and 3 DPO, but at the same time it would be sooooo suspicious if I don't, and if I'm not pregnant, downright annoying.

What do you think, drink until you see pink or fake it and make mine a virgin-style?

That is tough Sarah, with my first pregnancy I did have a few drinks it was over the holiday and we had so many parties to attend. Also we were not actively trying but also not preventing so I didn't think I was pregnant. Lo and behold I was. But with this one I went to pour myself a glass of wine before I even o'd and dh was like what are you doing we are trying to get pregnant! Maybe bc its taking us so long this go round I am not doing anything that I couldn't do pregnant

I hope it means something good! FX! I always tend to squeeze my boobs to see if they're sore...maybe that's why? Lol. I also just started working out again and sometimes it's hard to tell if it's boobs or my muscles. Lol.

I doubt it would hurt unless you drink a lot but if you want to fake there are ways. You could always make a virgin like you said to fake it. I remember on my 21st bday I had a bad kidney infection and couldn't really drink. I lived in a major party town so the pressure to drink was ridiculous. People kept buying me drinks and shots and I'm pretty sure if I drank it all I would have died of alcohol poisoning. No one would take no for an answer so I hung out near a potted plant...when they turned around I dumped it out. Everyone was impressed with how well I was handling my drinks. Lol. they were all too drunk themselves to realize it. Haha. Plant didn't look so good by the end of the night though.

I have a big weekend this weekend with friends birthdays and if I don't drink it will look crazy suspicious so I will just be using DS as an excuse to not drink too much ( have to be up to watch him the next day) and just drinking really light wine mostly

I was so tired last night, It got to 8pm and I couldn't do it anymore, I put DS in bed with me because he was fighting sleep and it's more comfortable for me to sleep with both of us in my bed rather than his. I didn't stir again until sometime in the night where he must have been dreaming of his best friend because he was calling her name, then at 4:30 he woke me up because he wanted his shirt off and then at 6am when my alarm went off. I should have stayed in bed though, I am still insanely tired, but I did switch to decaf and am on holidays so it may just be that. Watch me at dinner tonight I'll be the one yawning and chewing my arm off because dinner isn't until 7:30 which means meals won't be out until maybe 8/8:30, I have a toddler people, we eat by 6:30pm at the latest

Here is my theory on the drinking. I will have one, maybe two if they are several hours apart. If you think about it, until implantation how could the alcohol get to an embryo anyway? That's what, 7-10 DPO? If I stronhgly suspected I was pregnant I would abstain. You can always use medication as an excuse. There is a bladder infection antibiotic that makes you sick if you drink while taking it. When I was pregnant with DD I just lied and said I was on that to get out of drinking at a party without raising suspicions.

:lurk:

I wouldn't stress about drinking a little if you are still in the 2WW. I did the whole alcohol abstinence thing for several months when I was TTC the first time around. Got old really fast especially when those months stretch on and on for over a year and everyone around you gets to enjoy that glass of wine, etc. This time around I didn't sweat about it too much while TTC #2 b/c we struggled to get pregnant before and I knew I would stop drinking all together when I got a positive HPT. A friend took me to a wine tasting for my birthday and I got a positive HPT five days later. I'm not concerned because how many people continue drinking a few weeks longer before realizing they are pregnant and everything turns out fine. When you TTC for a long time, you learn that you can't put your life on hold just because this cycle might be the one. Of course if you think it would bother you to know you drank during that cycle then I guess avoid it. Anyway that's just my two cents on the situation knowing a lot of people will be going to summer parties and weddings around here.

Thought I would drop in. I haven't been charting or even trying, but my breasts hurt bad like they do when I'm pregnant. I've also been "crampy" and gaseous (oh my favorite) along with gaining weight but not eating as much as I normally due.

Period is due tomorrow, but I'm the type that doesn't show early. Won't stop me from POS sometime this weekend. Biggrin

If I am, I will be in shock as will my husband most likely ..

I feel like I'm out. I don't think I'm really 8 DPO yet but I have a low and soft cervix, PMSing, emotional, irritable and negative tests....annoying! Definitely will be drinking a glass of wine tonight Smile

I heard about the discount! I kind of wish I'd gotten it while it was available. I just have the free one for now!

I'm going back and forth between wondering if I'm out and wondering if I'm pregnant. I hate that. One minute I'm sure I'm not and the next I'm wondering if it's possible. The back and forth wears me out. The good thing is we're a crazy kind of busy and I keep forgetting what day it is or how many DPO I am so if we can keep that up maybe I'll just forget about it until I have my answer. Lol. I've had a lot of cramping the last few days. I'm not sure what to think about it since I haven't had cramping since the LAP, but I also haven't had a full cycle yet so I don't know what's normal for me and what's not. I O'd right after the surgery (I think) and I don't remember having cramps like this last month but who knows. I also knew I wasn't pregnant last month so I didn't pay attention to it in the same way. Since this is our second time TTC, I just hope I'm not disappointed to the point of sobbing and having a meltdown out of disappointment each month I'm not. I really want to go about it differently this time.

I think i'm out. Temp tanked this morning, though I did have a bad nights sleep and had to get up to DS before temping so i am hoping that's the reason

Hopefully it's just from the bad night of sleep. My temp went down too but it was just a little and I woke up freezing. Stupid charting. Gets us all worried. FX that it goes back up tomorrow!
