We received Albus in the mail today. As soon as we do something exciting I'll make sure to take some pictures.
Yay! Looking forward to seeing your pics and your girls.
Wow, we haven't seen Albus in a while. Anyone have any Albus pics to share? I want to see some Honeybee kiddos!
My fault for hanging onto Albus for so long. Whenever I had a chance to make it to the post office (not very often, it's been a rough several months here) the kids had hidden him again. Anyhow, some pics:
For some reason, the laundry basket is a favorite play-spot:
Aw Sox, they are so cute! I can't believe how big they're getting. I like your boy's haircut. He looks so happy.
Great to see pics of them. Sorry things have been rough around there. Everything ok?
Things could be worse, but they're not great. I was in a car accident last October, and then another one in March, neither my fault. Fortunately I didn't have the kids in the car either time. The first one, a little old lady rear-ended me while I was stopped in a line of cars waiting at a stop-sign. I don't think she even hit her brakes. I saw her coming at the very last second and tensed up, which was apparently the wrong thing to do. Increasing pain for months on end in my left shoulder -- just trying to change a diaper or push open a door was enough to leave me crying it hurt so badly. I finally got an MRI done on it in-mid March and they discovered I had a tear in my rotator cuff. Saw an orthopedist who gave me a giant shot right into the joint and it felt *miraculous*, then sent off to do physical therapy for a couple of months, but less than a week after the shot I was driving on a quick shopping errand when some 18 year old kid decided to take a left turn straight into the drivers side of my car at high speed. My side airbag went off and smacked me really hard in the side of my head (although arguably was better than the alternative of my head hitting the glass.) This time I got an ambulance ride out of it. Ended up with a concussion that's still affecting me: I have now had one continuous headache for 162 days that not even vicodin will stop, plus my concentration is shot, my short-term memory is really flaky, I'm exhausted all the time no matter how much I sleep, I'm dropping words, typing is difficult (not saying how many typos I had to go back and fix already here) I have little momentary episodes of extreme disorientation/memory lapse, and if I turn my head too far to the left I can't focus my eyes and I get dizzy and my headache gets worse. Apparently there's really nothing they can do about it except wait for it to get better, which it probably will, eventually, maybe. And of course with all that I never ended up getting to physical therapy for my shoulder, which is getting bad again. Add the nightmare of my crappy insurance company completely dropping the ball on things several times, and my job being excessively crappy and in danger just as my job performance is dropping because of the head injury, and there's a huge amount of stress about the whole thing which probably isn't helping things get any better.
At least my kids are healthy. I just wish they had a little less energy sometimes (-:
Sorry for the long whiny post.
I'm sorry you are going through all of that. I can't imagine how rough that has been, especially trying to chase after 2 little ones. I hope things start improving for you soon.
Love the pics though. Your son's haircut is so cute. I can't believe how big these kids of ours are getting.
Wow, you have really been through the wringer. I know concussion aftereffects can last for a long time, but that's so terrible that you are still so affected after so long. Poor thing! Glad the kids weren't with you, though, that's a blessing for sure.
I hope things starting improving for you soon. Hugs!
I haven't been here for such a long time, but it seems like the conversations are picking up. I'm so sorry about the 2 car accidents, and the difficult recovery. I really hope things get better for you soon.
