I am going to keep up this time. I am going to keep up this time. I am going to keep up this time. Wink

I have a last minute doctor appt this morning. I actually had one scheduled for tomorrow on Thursday (just a general physical) but last night I didn't feel well and my symptoms were concerning me so I called the nurse and talked to her. I told her I already had an appt scheduled for Thursday morning (and I also have M2's 6mth appt Thurs, too) but she talked to the doctor and called me back. They want me there at 9 to be seen. I think it made me anxious that they didn't feel waiting another 24hrs to be seen would be okay. So I'm trying to relax for a few. I can feel my anxiety levels increasing. (and not feeling well is why I didn't ck in on time for chat night last night. I'm sorry)

Keep us posted on your appt Julie!

I have my 10yr reunion on Friday, having a hard time deciding what to wear. I bought 2 shirts the other day and a pair of shoes. Well the shoes only go with one of the shirts. What the heck am I going to do if I decide to wear the other one that night? Ugh, maybe if I wasn't pmsing and feeling chunky, this wouldnt be a hard decision! LOL

If I wasn't broke, I totally would! DH and I don't share bank accounts and when I came home the other day with 2 new shirts AND the pair of shoes, I got the major stink eye! LOL I have a pic of both of them, I will post and you tell me what you think.

ooooohhhhhhhhhhh, I like them both. But, I vote for the second shirt and the new shoes! You'll look great. If you decide to wear the other shoes, tell your sugar daddy (dh) to buy his little mamasita a new pair of shoes!

I love both shirts Rachel! If I had to pick, I would go with the second one, probably because I love the shoes too!

Feel better Julie! I hope all goes well with your appointment.

Anne- happy you got to go to the fair! Get some rest today!!

Have I mentioned before that I absolutely love the term 'stink eye'??? I'm SO gonna start using that one! lol

I vote for shirt #2 as well, love both it and the shoes and think it would look really low-key and classy for a reunion. BUT, if you can't walk properly in the new shoes, I vote for 'mamasita gets a new pair from sugardaddy'. Nothing worse than getting a couple of drinks into ya in front of people you haven't seen in 10 years, and falling flat on your a$$. Lol

Julie - KUP on that appt - sending you tons of positive t & p's. Hope you're feeling better!

Anne - enjoy your quiet day, take out a book, nice glass of iced tea on the deck maybe??

I also would go with the second one and the shoes. Just a thought, could you bring the shoes back and get a pair that match the other shirt if you think they will be too uncomfortable? I do like the shoes though!

Getting ready to leave work early today. I have to go to the mall to get my watch fixed, hit up Gymboree, and then home to pack for the weekend. Too hard to pack the girls clothes when they are awake, and well can't really do it when they are asleep!

Well, I had my appt this morning. I have a cyst on my side. Not my chest; not my back. Under my arm. The doctor feels that since it is so painful that it should be the type that just goes away but I'm supposed to watch it and if it doesn't then it will have to be removed. Other things going on seem to be associated with stress, etc. They did do bloodwork to check everything so I'll hear back about that sometime soon.

I'm glad your appt seems to have produced an answer of good news Julie. I hope you start to feel better soon and the cyst goes away on its own soon.

Rach....I'm the odd ball and I think I like the first shirt better...but its hard to tell just laying on the table...put those new boobies in them and model a pic of each!

Well I got no rest today. I dropped G off at daycare and went to take the paperwork down to my new school district. Ended up talking to my new principal for more than an hour and got a tour of the school since I likely won't be at orientation. After that I went to grab lunch w. DH at his office but he couldn't stay long enough to eat so I worked on getting him a quicker dentist appt. then Sept. bc he has a broken tooth that is infected and my stepmom knew the schedule lady (my Dh works for her n my dad). Then I went grocery shopping and picked up G. She didn't nap so she was miserable and I had to bathe n feed her quick bc she was in bed asleep by 7! Phew! Tomorrow I am not getting my butt outta this house all day!

Julie, I hope that the cyst goes down quickly for you and that the other problems get better too. HUGS!

Anne, you better rest some today! Bedrest is SO hard to do.

We are headed to my parent's for the weekend for my nephews High School graduation party tomorrow night. And my niece is home from CA with her two kids before she gets deployed. I am SO excited to see her and the boys! We are REALLY close, more like sisters then aunt/niece.

GRRRRR, still SO mad at DH's family right now. If you didn't read my post in my thread about DH's friend, then I'll fill you in quickly. DH's family has STILL not called him to see how he is doing. Are you KIDDING ME? My sister and my parent's called him, but his own parent's couldn't pick up the phone too see how their son is doing. Makes me SO mad, and makes me wonder how such a caring and thoughtful man came out of that house.

I got this adorable outfit for the girls yesterday! I can't wait for them to wear it! It had matching sweat pants, but these are all size 3, not 3T, but 3. They wear between 18M and 2T, so they will be baggy. The pants would have just falled right off of them. I hope they can wear them this year, if not they will have them for next year!

With a little jean skirt and white sneakers! Or maybe the pink Converse I just got them. Too cute!

O.M.G. those are TOO cute Tara!! love them!!

Ok so the SIL is prego again. She's 21, has a 3yr old. She's living with her BF now for 10 months or so and I guess they were trying, idk. He has a kid and she has one and they live in a 1 bedroom apt. So this wasn't the best choice I feel. Anyways, she had an appt yesterday and she's due on my bday. Well I know this sounds b*tchy, but I dont like it. DH says I'm being a B and that it's selfish. I mean I dont care that he said that, whatever, I can feel how I want. I just HATE the fact that his mom thought it was funny to call me and say "Are you ready to coach (birth coach) on your Bday??" Ha ha ha. Ummmmm she can call to tell me that, yet she can't call us back after we called and txt her to ask if she could watch the kids tomorrow night??? I told DH there are just so many bdays on my bday already and that week that I just hope her baby comes a little sooner so it's not so hectic (party planning and all). He thinks I'm retarded, whatever I'm PMSING and I can feel how I want!! lol

Oh man Rachel. Luckily most kids aren't born on their actual due date. Was she early or late with her last one? Does both your SIL and her boyfriend had full custody of their other children? That's a lot of people in a 1 bedroom apartment. I wish her luck. And congrats on getting another niece or nephew!

Yea she had the last one 3wks early, so this one will probably be a little early too. It was just the whole principal of my MIL calling me. UGH! She has custody of her son and then he gets his daughters every other weekend. I seriously don't know how they are going to do it. She can't afford daycare for another child. I'm not going to worry about it though, this was what she chose.

You're right Rach! You are entitled to your feelings! Everyone deserves one day of the year to feel special. And, MIL shouldn't call you to rub it in! How childish. But, don't get too upset, the baby will probably NOT be born on your birthday!

Rachel I have a similar situtaion and can totally sypathize.

So my SIL has 2 kids by two different men and now is pregnant by accident of course by a third man! She has a 6 year old, a 1 year old and now pregnant. She lives w/ my mother in law and has no education. God I hope she is smart in the future, or gets her tubes tied. Also, her sister, my other SIL is getting married on Sept. 10....ok, she's been married before, when she was 16 bc she was pregnant and was married for 8 years, had 3 kids and got divorced. So she's 26 now, and acting like she's never ever been married. She has a 9 year old, 7 year old and 4 year old. Give me a break! So, they are all worried that Judd will be born on or around her wedding. Um, I'm sorry, but the birth of a freaking child is way more important that a freaking 2nd wedding. I have not said anything to them, but I'm overly pissed when it comes up. My csection is scheduled for Sept. 13, so I cannot imagine that at 39 weeks pregnant I'll go sit in the heat for her dumb wedding (sorry I'm bitter). I just think it's rude to even talk about how "OH no, what will you do???? Do you think he'll come early'???!?!?!!?!?!!?!?!? Like, get over it!

Yup, I'd be annoyed by that one too, Jess. What IS it with the extended families these days?? Wow. I think I'd be inclined to respond something like, 'oh, I'm not worrying about it too much. Getting this baby here safely is my number 1 priority'. Wink

And Rach - yup, your MIL would pi$$ me off with that one too, calling to rub it in when she hasn't even responded to your request yet. Talk about rude...

Sorry everyone's been having such a crappy week - luckily we all love each other! Wink

On a personal (and also sad) note, I heard from my friend whose daughter died 10 days ago, that the results of the autopsy were inconclusive. Basically, they couldn't find a cause of death - a 17 year old girl just dies out of the blue, and for no obvious reason. But the mom went to see her family doctor and related the results, and her fam dr said that there is sometimes the cause of death in these cases is a sudden and unexplained heart stoppage, caused by some sort of weird electrical impulse in the body... it doesn't leave a sign or any damage behind.

So sad, so strange, so heartbreaking... Sad

Kirsten that breaks my heart, I am so sorry. How horrible That is unbelieveable, and heartbreaking. I feel so sad for her parents.

Yes, crappy week indeed. I am so slow at work, and that means we are not making any money............Matt and I are at each others throats. Not to mention it is literally 100 degrees in GA and I feel like I cannot breath when I walk outside! It is unbearable to walk to the car. Yesterday Sam and I went to walmart and I felt like I would fall over after unloading my groceries. I am more than ready for FALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't like summer anyway, much less pregnant!

Tara - Big hugs! I am thinking about you guys!

Kirsten - what an awful situation for your friends!!

Jessi - yuck about the heat!! I don't miss the east coast humidity one bit!

Any fun weekend plans? Its supposed to be pretty warm here so we hope to get out and do some yard work early Saturday and Sunday.

How was everyone's weekend? Mine was pretty good, reunion went well (Anne, I ended up wearing the 2nd shirt lol), took DD shopping for her bday and spent yesterday swimming with the kids. Saturday I woke up in the middle of the night couldn't swallow, went and took some tylenol and allergy medicine, got a few cough drops. Same thing all day yesterday, of course this morning I can't talk or swallow and I have some white patches. Seriously, I can't take this sickness anymore. I'm going to get a dr appt for first thing this am. I have used 97hrs of PTO this year so far and not ONE day off where I wasn't sick. I'm beginning to think something is wrong with me, I always have something. Maybe my immune system is really low?

Rachel, I hope you feel better.

Jessi, WOW that is HOT. Hopefully you get some cooler weather soon. My fave season is fall also!

We had a great weekend. I got to see my niece and her two sons! She was visiting from CA. It was HARD to say bye to her. She is being deployed in March, so it will be over a year before I see her again. My wrist is KILLING me, but I just couldn't help but holding and playing with those boys as much as possible while I could. It was worth the pain!

You have GOT to be kidding Rachel? That is ridiculious. Is anyone else in your house sick? HUGS. You REALLY need to catch a break with all of these things. How has your tummy been? When do you see the doc next about that?

Nope no one has been sick Sad I'm suppose to see the tummy dr again wednesday afternoon. The meds they gave me didn't really help, so I haven't been taking them. It was suppose to help my stomach from cramping when I ate. They still don't know what causes the intense pain. I'm a nut case I swear. I canNOT believe I have strep again, I knew my throat hurt and I had a feeling. I think I was just in denial.

I AM SO TIRED!!!!! I haven't been able to sleep for more then 45 minutes, and then awake for like 20 for almost a week now. First it was just not being able to sleep, then it was my Restless Leg Syndrome, now it's just back to not being able to sleep. UGH. Coffee doesn't even help. I reallythink I might just fall alseep at my desk right now.

Yuck.. that's such an awful feeling.. when you're SO tired that all you can do is keep your eyes open, let alone function. I really hope you get a good sleep tonight!! My sister has suffered with insomnia since her mid-30's. It's such a hard thing to have to deal with because no one can 'see' on the outside that you're suffering. ((hugs))

I have been in an organizing tear around the house this morning. I went to put the kids' laundry away, and when I started getting a good look at their drawers, shelves, bins etc I got into one of THOSE moods where you're so annoyed, frustrated and overwhelmed with all the STUFF that's all in the wrong place! ACHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

So I spent 2 hours on it and am now resolved to kick some serious a&& when the kids get home, and make them clean up/organize the rest of the chaos. Wink

I for one, will be in an isolation tank this afternoon. I'll let you all know how THAT goes! Wink

I wish I could have Kirsten, I couldn't come in until 11:30am today bc they wanted me on meds for 24hrs before returning to work. Wishing I just would have stayed home though, I get the worst headaches when I have strep.

How is everyone else doing today though?

Well, I had my visit to the isolation tank..

It was fun! At first, when you first get in and they shut off the lights and close the door, it's a little weird because it's BLACK in there - like can't see the hand in front of your face black. But I'm not claustrophobic, and not scared of the dark, so it didn't bother me. They put about 80 lbs of epsom salts in the water, so it makes you super-buoyant, so you don't feel at all like you are going to sink (water is only 10 inches deep anyway). You just float there like a cork. The temp is about 36C (body temp), but feels a little warmer than that. You can wear earplugs if you want (I didn't). So you see nothing, you hear only your own hearbeat as your ears are underwater and the room is soundproof, and you only feel the water... you're supposed to meditate, or if you're thinking, you're supposed to just let your thoughts come and go, and observe yourself as if you were standing outside yourself... not sure I did that. I spent the first 10 minutes, predictably, fixating on hygiene matters: 'I wonder how often they change this water?? I should have ASKED!.... 'I wonder if anyone has peed in here'... 'I'm so not going to let this water touch my mouth'... etc etc. But then I tried to just LET IT GO... and relax.. and the next thing I knew, I heard a snoring sound and startled myself awake. Yup, slept through I'd say 1/2 hour of the time. Then the lights came on 5 minutes later and I got out, showered and came out. Maybe it was the quiet, maybe it was the nap??, but I did feel very alert, peaceful, rested, and relaxed. Definitely a fun experience... I'd recommend it if anyone's looking for something different to do with DH!

So very sad, Kirsten. :bighug:

How was everyone's weekend? Mine was pretty good, reunion went well (Anne, I ended up wearing the 2nd shirt lol), took DD shopping for her bday and spent yesterday swimming with the kids.

Glad the reunion went well. Did you see anyone that you wanted to see but haven't for a long time?

How are you feeling today?

I have been in an organizing tear around the house this morning. I went to put the kids' laundry away, and when I started getting a good look at their drawers, shelves, bins etc I got into one of THOSE moods where you're so annoyed, frustrated and overwhelmed with all the STUFF that's all in the wrong place! ACHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

So I spent 2 hours on it and am now resolved to kick some serious a&& when the kids get home, and make them clean up/organize the rest of the chaos. Wink

Can you fly in and help me? Wink

'I wonder how often they change this water??

That's funny. I'd be wondering the same things. I've never heard of this - interesting!

Glad you enjoyed it Kirsten! Was the like a bathtub in a room, or a tank that they shut you in? How did DH like it? I would be wondering the same things about how often they change the water, etc...!

Do you think work will mind if I curl up in a ball under my desk and take a nap? I slept maybe 3 hours total last night, and that was on and off. No particular reason, just insomnia. UGH, I am so tired today. Lots of coffee will be drank by me today!

Julie, I wouldn't say I saw anyone I *really* wanted to see lol. I still keep in touch daily with most of the girls I was friends with. We have a group of about 4 of us that are still best friends. So we had a good time, I saw people from highschool that I wanted to see me! LOL I use to have a group of boys that would tell my I was fat, that I had a big butt. It really use to hurt my feelings because I was never a stick skinny girl, I've always had curves. I mean I started my period at 9! lol So I just wanted them to see that they may have said those things about me then, but that dannnngggg she looks good now! LOL I know, childish Smile

Kirsten, that tank sounds interesting! I bet it was nice to get out of it and feel so relaxed!

Tara, girl what are we going to do with you?! We've got to get you sleeping!

LOL Rachel! That is also one of the only reasons I would want to go to a class reunion! To see the kids that picked on me and called me dumb becuase of my learning disabilities and dyslexia, and show them that I have 2 undergrad degrees and 2 master degrees, all in engineering! Yeah, childish but still makes you feel good! I can guarantee you Rachel that they are all like "WOW, she's one HOT MAMA!!!!!"

I'm actually tempted to take benadryl tonight so that I can sleep! That stuff usually knocks me out COLD!

DH and I are taking tomorrow off from work and sending the girls to daycare on Friday also (I don't work Firdays and he only works every other Firday) and getting our patio hopefully DONE! We have had 6 pallets of pavers sitting in our yard for over a month now. I can't wait to get this huge project done. It's been going on since last year... well really since we bought the house and decided to cut down over 120 trees! I also can't wait to get the new patio furniture we just bought out of the boxes!
