Check in !!!!!

Check in!!!!

Oh ladies I am remiss aren't I? Haven't done a check in a while what with all the flu and other stuff going on!

No excuses...here goes:

What do you worry about daily?

What's your favorite flower?

What is something surprising that you've learned about your moonbeam?

What is the most annoying thing your moonbeam does right now?

Do you have any houseplants (alive)?

This one was asked eons ago when we were all still pregnant: what is your favorite part of your body and why?

Has this changed since the last time we asked and if so why?

If you had unlimited resources how many children do you think you'd have?

What are your moonbeam's nicknames lately?

What is your pet name for your DH/SO?

If you had one bedroom wish, what would it be (think steamy ladies, we have some mommas TTC right now - let's give them some inspiration!)?

What do you worry about daily? My blood pressure.

What's your favorite flower? Hmmm, gardenia maybe?? They smell so nice.

What is something surprising that you've learned about your moonbeam? He is just like his dad - totally in looks and personality.

What is the most annoying thing your moonbeam does right now? High pitched screaching. Oh, and throwing things.

Do you have any houseplants (alive)? Yup, 2, and that's enough for me right now.

This one was asked eons ago when we were all still pregnant: what is your favorite part of your body and why? Elbow. So many uses: can prop you up, can be held by someone to guide you somewhere, can be used as a weapon, doesn't generally gain much flab, and I usually don't see it so it doesn't bother me when I look in the mirror. It's also very quiet and neat.

Has this changed since the last time we asked and if so why?Nope. I doubt it ever will.

If you had unlimited resources how many children do you think you'd have? I'd love to have one more but it's not in the cards for us.

What are your moonbeam's nicknames lately? Squish is by far the most commonly used. We will use meatball or screacher too.

What is your pet name for your DH/SO? Uh, does it have to be a nice one??? JK. I usually just call him honey but sometimes when I get annoyed I just call him PITA.

If you had one bedroom wish, what would it be (think steamy ladies, we have some mommas TTC right now - let's give them some inspiration!)? Tee hee. Maybe I shouldn't have included this one but I thought I'd try. I'd like a few candles, some hott music, a lot of skin to skin attention, maybe some chocolate. I can't really go into further detail without making me blush but you have the ingredients, make up your own story Wink

What do you worry about daily? Our ability to pay our bills, my kids getting sick.

What's your favorite flower? gerbera daisy, tulip

What is something surprising that you've learned about your moonbeam? that he's the most active child on the face of this planet.

What is the most annoying thing your moonbeam does right now? climbs on top of beds, couches, chairs, tables and jumps

Do you have any houseplants (alive)? 1 big one in the corner of the living room, I can't believe none of the kids or animals have gotten to it but it's wedged back there pretty well so hopefully it survives...

This one was asked eons ago when we were all still pregnant: what is your favorite part of your body and why? legs and arms because they are long and make me look thinner than I am...

Has this changed since the last time we asked and if so why? no

If you had unlimited resources how many children do you think you'd have? 2 is my limit.

What are your moonbeam's nicknames lately? Tazmanian Devil

What is your pet name for your DH/SO? I'm not saying Smile

If you had one bedroom wish, what would it be (think steamy ladies, we have some mommas TTC right now - let's give them some inspiration!)? I guess I'd be pretty pumped if we had no animals in the room while we DTD and had a lock on the door to keep the kids out so I wouldnt have to worry about any visitors... :/

What do you worry about daily? finishing my PhD

What's your favorite flower? gerber daisies.

What is something surprising that you've learned about your moonbeam? she has curly hair!

What is the most annoying thing your moonbeam does right now? already tantruming and wants mommy all the time over everyone/everything else-sometimes hard to do much.

Do you have any houseplants (alive)? nope, and no plans to change!

This one was asked eons ago when we were all still pregnant: what is your favorite part of your body and why? not sure, I am like 34 weeks pregnant right now, so probably the girls are my best thing going for me.

Has this changed since the last time we asked and if so why?not sure, maybe if i was the same prego then!

If you had unlimited resources how many children do you think you'd have? 4.

What are your moonbeam's nicknames lately? I still call her Peanut, although sometimes I call her mooch b/c she wants to taste everything anyone has.

What is your pet name for your DH/SO? nothing consistently, the usual Honey that kind of thing.

If you had one bedroom wish, what would it be (think steamy ladies, we have some mommas TTC right now - let's give them some inspiration!)? Seriously. I am 34 weeks pregnant. My interest is waning at best, so I think my bedroom wish would be my king size bed with no kids in it for 12 hours of uninterupted sleep-now that would be HOT!

What do you worry about daily? Where the girls will go to school. I can't afford the kind of school I'd really like for them. Am not sure whether we should try moving to another district with "better" public schools or stay here and use a parochial school.

What's your favorite flower? Iris

What is something surprising that you've learned about your moonbeam? I think she's going to be a bit of a girlie girl. DD1 is a tomboy and Leyla can be aggressive and has a temper, so it's surprising that she's into dolls and pretty things too.

What is the most annoying thing your moonbeam does right now? She wants to follow me to the bathroom.

Do you have any houseplants (alive)? I have a pretty brown thumb, but have managed to keep a plant alive for a few years now. I just moved it outside to our deck for the summer and it seems happier there than inside.

This one was asked eons ago when we were all still pregnant: what is your favorite part of your body and why? I think I answered my smile back then and whined about how I used to like my legs but no longer did. Well now that I have been working out my legs are close to being my favorite part of my body again.

Has this changed since the last time we asked and if so why? Oops, got ahead of myself. See above.

If you had unlimited resources how many children do you think you'd have? I'd have one more, so 3 altogether.

What are your moonbeam's nicknames lately? Laylee, Neni (pronounced Neh-nee), Mehmee, Poopoosela, Bebe. We call her a bunch of weird stuff.

What is your pet name for your DH/SO? JC, Juan-kee

If you had one bedroom wish, what would it be (think steamy ladies, we have some mommas TTC right now - let's give them some inspiration!)? Being seduced by Joe Manganiello

What do you worry about daily? The state of US politics. I wish I could make lobbyists illegal. All this special funding and you-scratch-my-back nonsense has made it so the politicians only will pass bills if there's something in it for them (or their friends or families or whoever paid them the most through campaign funding). Money needs to leave politics so that congress will actually truly debate the issues and get stuff done. Sorry. Rant over.

What's your favorite flower? Calla lilies, daffodils, Hawaiian white ginger (they smell glorious)

What is something surprising that you've learned about your moonbeam? That she's really girly and loves shoes, purses, and having her toes painted!

What is the most annoying thing your moonbeam does right now? I'm not annoyed by anything she does yet, that I can think of. Sometimes I wish she would stop taking such an avid interest in the buttons on the home theater system and the satellite box.

Do you have any houseplants (alive)? We have plants on our porch, but we don't have any inside the house.

This one was asked eons ago when we were all still pregnant: what is your favorite part of your body and why? My toenails right now. I give myself a pedicure every Sunday.

Has this changed since the last time we asked and if so why? Last time I said my bum, and I still like it just fine, it's just now that I've gotten into doing my toes, they've taken precedence.

If you had unlimited resources how many children do you think you'd have? Is my body considered a resource? Because if my body didn't get so messed up from each birth/pregnancy, I'd go for one more, but with the body factor always in place, I'm happy to not be pregnant again.

What are your moonbeam's nicknames lately? She still has too many. She's Evie Belle, Bellita, Eve Marie, Lily, Lily Bug....There are probably more Lol

What is your pet name for your DH/SO? Babe, I guess.

If you had one bedroom wish, what would it be (think steamy ladies, we have some mommas TTC right now - let's give them some inspiration!)? Get the kids to sleep early and feed me some chocolate cake.

Fun Christina!!!! Thanks! Biggrin

What do you worry about daily? something bad happening to Luke

What's your favorite flower? anything bright and colorful, I'd way rather have a mixed bouquet than roses

What is something surprising that you've learned about your moonbeam? He LOVES music and dancing and piggy back rides. every time i sit on the floor or squat down he runs behind me and starts to climb up. He has such a wonderful disposition. He is such a happy carefree child.

What is the most annoying thing your moonbeam does right now? he just creates so much mess!!! putting everything away gets tiring. Ive stopped picking up after him all day. I just wait till the end of the day and do it once. It does make me a little crazy!

Do you have any houseplants (alive)? nope, we don't have any

This one was asked eons ago when we were all still pregnant: what is your favorite part of your body and why? arms and legs! i am fortunate to have long thin arms and legs. When I gain weight or am pregnant I just balloon in the middle. My arms and legs somehow stay toned the whole time.

Has this changed since the last time we asked and if so why? i don't remember what I said last time!

If you had unlimited resources how many children do you think you'd have? unlimited resources?? wow... maybe 6 or 7. if that includes a personal trainer, and a maid and a cook to come in a few times a week!!

What are your moonbeam's nicknames lately? We call him Lukalaylee because it sounds like ukelele. Sometimes I just call him laylee. I have a million names for him Smile

What is your pet name for your DH/SO? okay... this is really dumb. When he makes macaroni and cheese he puts in POUNDS AND POUNDS of cheese. Its basically melted cheese with an occasional noodle throughout. I started calling it "hubaroni and cheese." Then I started calling him hubaroni or hubs.

If you had one bedroom wish, what would it be (think steamy ladies, we have some mommas TTC right now - let's give them some inspiration!)? That I wanted to. That is all I want

What do you worry about daily? My kids, always!!

What's your favorite flower? Sunflower (and I love yellow roses too)

What is something surprising that you've learned about your moonbeam? That he can take 3-5 steps unaided if he really wants to!

What is the most annoying thing your moonbeam does right now? He goes into my cupboards, mainly where the bin is kept and pushing my dishwasher buttons and starting it up!

Do you have any houseplants (alive)? I have potplants outside on the patio and front verandah that are thriving, nothing indoors though!

This one was asked eons ago when we were all still pregnant: what is your favorite part of your body and why? My eyes (colour of them;aqua) and my smile.

Has this changed since the last time we asked and if so why? I don't think so, only parts of my body that I really like!

If you had unlimited resources how many children do you think you'd have? Funny, just speaking with my sister about this, I said I would have 1 more if I had the money! Her SIL said to her, "if you have 3, you might as well have 4"...that's a big ask!

What are your moonbeam's nicknames lately? Do't ask how they came about...little man we use but these other 2? LOL Divvy and Boovy!

What is your pet name for your DH/SO? We don't have one for each other at all!

If you had one bedroom wish, what would it be (think steamy ladies, we have some mommas TTC right now - let's give them some inspiration!)? That he thinks about just him and me for once! (he watches to many dirty movies IMO!)...lots more kisses would be nice!

What do you worry about daily? Ugh, my weight. And recently, my marriage. Sad

What's your favorite flower? I love wildflowers- but I love the smell of lilies.

What is something surprising that you've learned about your moonbeam? She loves shoes! She is obsessed. And she has favorite pairs! She insists on wearing them when she sees them. It cracks me up!

What is the most annoying thing your moonbeam does right now? I'm afraid with her being sick she has got a long list (it brings out the worst in them, doesn't it!?)...but at the top I would say the biting/hitting/kicking as if it were a game, and going psycho over the smallest thing. Also, we're in this house til Saturday (tomorrow!) that is not baby-proofed, and that has been very hard- especially since she does things like get into the garbage. Sad OH! Add one to the list- this is prob #1 actually- the acting like someone is doing her grave bodily harm when she is having her diaper changed! It's come down to physical force, because even when she's covered in poo she won't way still, and none of us want poop EVERYWHERE every time she poops. Sigh.

Do you have any houseplants (alive)? Without a house, one cannot have houseplants. Smile I would hope to get some though. I have never had luck keeping any plant alive however, I love a house full of plants.

This one was asked eons ago when we were all still pregnant: what is your favorite part of your body and why? My feet. I think they are well shaped, and I have nice toes, and cute toenails.

Has this changed since the last time we asked and if so why? I think I probably said the same. It hasn't changed, because I still haven't learned to love the rest of me.

If you had unlimited resources how many children do you think you'd have? Honestly, I could see 4 or 5.

What are your moonbeam's nicknames lately? Benuci, Beni-boo, Benita-schmenita, Schmeny, psycho baby Smile

What is your pet name for your DH/SO? I usually call him Joely, sometimes boo, or baby-boo. But we have not been using pet names lately. Sad

If you had one bedroom wish, what would it be (think steamy ladies, we have some mommas TTC right now - let's give them some inspiration!)? A big ole bed with no babies in the room! Ha ha! Thank goodness for the guest room at our new house! Being able to have sex without worrying about anyone else waking up to see it, or hearing it through the walls, will be nice!

What do you worry about daily? I try not to worry about anything so much that it affects me daily....though I suppose if I had to pick right now it would be our shifting life/play schedule as my husband recently started a hard core new adventure and is working full time as well.

What's your favorite flower? Hydrangea.

What is something surprising that you've learned about your moonbeam? He has the sweetest curls in the back of his hair.

What is the most annoying thing your moonbeam does right now? Climb. Climb onto the table, climb onto coffee tables, etc. He is quite convinced that he is a preschooler like his sibs.

Do you have any houseplants (alive)? Yes, several.

This one was asked eons ago when we were all still pregnant: what is your favorite part of your body and why? Probably my stomach/core. It is absolutely amazing to me that any body part could change and grow and shrink so much and still work. It is also an important part for two of my favorite things, running and golf, so I am grateful for it's strength.

Has this changed since the last time we asked and if so why? I don't remember. Probably.

If you had unlimited resources how many children do you think you'd have? Resources don't play a decision in how many we are choosing to have, unless patience and individual time with each child are resources Smile I'd say the same as we say now, most likely 3. I could be talked into a 4th, but only in very specific circumstances and not for quite a while. I have a lot of things that I want to accomplish, and even unlimited resources can't buy one more time.

What are your moonbeam's nicknames lately? Blondie. Brown bear. His hair has gotten white blond over the summer and with so much time vacationing or at the pool he has a bit of a tan, despite the sunblock and hats.

What is your pet name for your DH/SO? Bear.

If you had one bedroom wish, what would it be (think steamy ladies, we have some mommas TTC right now - let's give them some inspiration!)? I'll keep that one to myself Smile Lets just say that he gets home tonight after a week away and I am longing to see him!

What is the most annoying thing your moonbeam does right now? Climbs & this past few weeks his seperation anxiety (esp toward me) has been really bad.

Do you have any houseplants (alive)? Yep, I have about 6

This one was asked eons ago when we were all still pregnant: what is your favorite part of your body and why? My eyes or lips, they are both big & I get compliments on them all the time.

Has this changed since the last time we asked and if so why? I can't remember my answer last time.

If you had unlimited resources how many children do you think you'd have? Resources really hasn't determined the number of kids for us, it is more our age....we were so happy with just DD for so long, then my biological clock started ticking so now 3 seems to be a perfect number for us.

What are your moonbeam's nicknames lately? We are still using Freeko, Freek Show & Nics

What is your pet name for your DH/SO? Just Hon.

If you had one bedroom wish, what would it be (think steamy ladies, we have some mommas TTC right now - let's give them some inspiration!)? Ha...at this point I am still trying to figure out how I got PG, between a cosleeping toddler & a teenager I would just take a nice quiet evening in a bed alone & no baby monitor!!

What do you worry about daily? I worry about if Lucas is getting everything he needs for language developement.

What's your favorite flower? Pink Lilies

What is something surprising that you've learned about your moonbeam? That he's a super tough cookie that is really great at sticking up for himself. I hope that serves him well in life!

What is the most annoying thing your moonbeam does right now? Another climber. On everything. He's so fearless, results in lots of bruises!

Do you have any houseplants (alive)? Haha! No way! This house has a TON of gardens outside though. It's gorgeous. The previous owner was an avid gardener. Thankfully they have all taken care of themselves, I've got a black thumb!

This one was asked eons ago when we were all still pregnant: what is your favorite part of your body and why? Probably my legs. They are long and fairly toned.

Has this changed since the last time we asked and if so why? I can't remember.

If you had unlimited resources how many children do you think you'd have? I'm pretty sure three is our number!

What are your moonbeam's nicknames lately? Lukey Loo, Lukey J, Lucasa, Monkey, little monster

What is your pet name for your DH/SO? Usually babe

If you had one bedroom wish, what would it be (think steamy ladies, we have some mommas TTC right now - let's give them some inspiration!)? Oh geeze, so I'm so exhausted right now, that I'm not really feeling like any bedroom activity. It would probably involve a night away somewhere quiet and a fireplace! Wink

What do you worry about daily? money.. even though we are ok it comes from how I grew up with struggle and I just always feel worried about it lol

What's your favorite flower? calla lily

What is something surprising that you've learned about your moonbeam? she is so observant. We went on the train the other day and just watching her look around and take in her area made me amazed

What is the most annoying thing your moonbeam does right now? probably the climbing and into EVERYTHING... The climbing wouldn't bother me if she couldn't get hurt from it... oh and probably the fact she now asks for the binky... I didn't want ot use one at all and gave in to DH and now I hate it since she has been teething her molars she loves it to chew on and nothing is as good

Do you have any houseplants (alive)? nope

What do you worry about daily? I wouldn't say this is a constant worry, but I'm thinking a lot about what the next year looks like when DH finishes his PhD, me hopefully pg, and probably a big move. I'm typically one to be pretty spontaneous and adventurous, but I'm finding myself craving some certainty right now.

What's your favorite flower? Orchids, especially phaeleonopsis.

What is something surprising that you've learned about your moonbeam? I'm hearing more often that he looks like me, which I love. DH has really dominant features, and I think it's neat that Alexander still somehow manages to look a little like me.

What is the most annoying thing your moonbeam does right now? Tear apart the bathroom cupboards and chew on tampons. I think it's really funny and kinda annoying at the same time.

Do you have any houseplants (alive)? I love plants! We gave all of ours away when we moved to Germany, but now I have 7 again. Our current place doesn't have the best light, and what with the probability of moving away again next year, I think I'll leave it at that.

This one was asked eons ago when we were all still pregnant: what is your favorite part of your body and why? I think my hair right now. About a month ago I finally got brave enough to really cut it, and I love it.

Has this changed since the last time we asked and if so why? I think I said my abs last time. Right now they're not as great as they could be, and the hair is new and fresh. I'm starting to teach the fitness class again in September, though, so the abs should catch up, I'm hoping.

If you had unlimited resources how many children do you think you'd have? 3, and that's the plan. Resources don't play a big part in the decision.

What are your moonbeam's nicknames lately? Still Meatie, Meatball, Meatie Pie, PITAman (when he's cranky), sugar plum...

What is your pet name for your DH/SO? Man, Man-Bear honey... Man came about the first time we were living in Germany together, because Mann is used to mean husband as well as man. It sort of stuck, and he calls me Wifey. Man-Bear is because he is pretty furry and cuddly like a bear.

If you had one bedroom wish, what would it be (think steamy ladies, we have some mommas TTC right now - let's give them some inspiration!)? My serious answer is just to get some action, any action, and have DH be into it. On the inspiration side...we were at an airshow on the weekend, and while lying in the refuelling bay of an aircraft next to a uniformed airman, I started having some interesting thoughts...

What do you worry about daily? If I should ever be pregnant again.

What's your favorite flower? Daisies of any kind.

What is something surprising that you've learned about your moonbeam? I think it's just little things. It's more of those in the moment type of things where they do something really smart and you cannot believe they are learning so much.

What is the most annoying thing your moonbeam does right now? I would say just how she gets into everything so it's hard for me to get anything done. She also likes to attach herself to my leg when I'm trying to get things done in the kitchen. It makes it almost impossible to walk.

Do you have any houseplants (alive)? I have an African Violet in my kitchen window. It's such a picky plant and some days I wonder if I should just give up and let someone adopt it.

This one was asked eons ago when we were all still pregnant: what is your favorite part of your body and why? I have to say my rear end, badonkadonk, tooshy, whatever you want to call it. I lost it after having Jordan but it's back and I am so glad! It's the only place I have curves.

Has this changed since the last time we asked and if so why? It changed briefly when I was struggling to keep on weight. It was like my rear just fell off.

If you had unlimited resources how many children do you think you'd have? Probably three. I feel like I could handle more if I knew I could get a little help now and then or a babysitter when I just needed to run a quick errand. I wish my parents lived closer! I know people have three kids w/o help but sometimes I am overwhelmed with one.

What are your moonbeam's nicknames lately?
Stinkerpot or booger. Why? I have no idea. I sort of hate myself for calling her booger but it just comes out.

What is your pet name for your DH/SO?
Sometimes I call him J. We aren't really pet name kind of people though.

If you had one bedroom wish, what would it be (think steamy ladies, we have some mommas TTC right now - let's give them some inspiration!)? I would love a night to ourselves in a hotel. Just to get away and not have a monitor next to our bed while we are trying to have some alone time would be nice! Then we could order some room service. Biggrin

What do you worry about daily? Keeping Lainey from destroying expensive things. Being as my iphone, laptop, and camera are her favorite "no-no's!"

What's your favorite flower? anything!

What is something surprising that you've learned about your moonbeam? How well she follows direction at so early. I can tell her "go get... go see..." etc and she does without confusion!

What is the most annoying thing your moonbeam does right now? The climbing. It is ridiculous and dangerous and I can't stop her.

Do you have any houseplants (alive)? yea like 4-5

This one was asked eons ago when we were all still pregnant: what is your favorite part of your body and why? eyes I guess?

Has this changed since the last time we asked and if so why? I can't remember my answer last time.

If you had unlimited resources how many children do you think you'd have? I think we would have 4-5 if I could afford to hire a maid and a nanny for when I need a freaking break

What are your moonbeam's nicknames lately? Lay-Lay, Lay-bug, buggy, buggy-boo, Boo-Boo, booty,LayBrooke, Brookey, Elby (initials are LB)

What is your pet name for your DH/SO? Lobster (comes from an old friends episode)

If you had one bedroom wish, what would it be (think steamy ladies, we have some mommas TTC right now - let's give them some inspiration!)? I just want to be LEFT ALONE! A night with no kids in the house is all I need!

What do you worry about daily? Um, everything? LOL. I'm kind of a worry-wort, so it varies daily, but it's always something. Usually a deadline at work or if the kids are ok, that kind of stuff.

What's your favorite flower? Tie between Hydrangeas and Roses.

What is something surprising that you've learned about your moonbeam? How completely opposite two children can be that came from the same parents and are raised in the same household. LOL. Also that you never ever know what curve ball life is going to throw at you!!

What is the most annoying thing your moonbeam does right now? He screeches a LOT--he gets frustrated when we don't understand what he's "saying" to us and proceeds to screech. That and the INCESSANT CLIMBING. Sometimes I think he's trying to kill hismelf LOL.

Do you have any houseplants (alive)? Yeah, NO. I have the brownest thumb ever.

This one was asked eons ago when we were all still pregnant: what is your favorite part of your body and why? Um, I don't have a favorite part? I guess I like that I'm petite but I still have curves. Smile

Has this changed since the last time we asked and if so why? I think I declined to answer last time, or said my eyes LOL.

If you had unlimited resources how many children do you think you'd have? 5 or more. LOL.

What are your moonbeam's nicknames lately? Jakey-Jake, Magneto, the Jake, stinky-pete, Jake of all the Jakes, the Jakester. Smile

What is your pet name for your DH/SO? We call each other Dawg. LOL. Long story!

If you had one bedroom wish, what would it be (think steamy ladies, we have some mommas TTC right now - let's give them some inspiration!)? I'm so tired right now, all I want is a night of uninterrupted sleep!!!
