Last night I was having some good contractions, and went to the bathroom... when I wiped there was a clear "glob-ish"d/c it wasn't a lot really but was there for 3-4 wipes or better... no blood though? Do you think this could be the start of losing my plug? I hate that word... lol I started cleaning the house at 11pm making sure bags were all packed. Dh must of got scared and started packing his bag, then went outside straightened the garage, checked the oil in the van and took out the double stroller to the garage hahaha must be male nesting!

Ha ha ha about your husband. But, it does sound promising about it being your plug. Mine last time did not have blood, it was just a glob of gunk. Good Luck!

My m-plug started that way too. I can't remember if there was any blood. I know with Kamdyn I had some but I don't think I did with Riley. KUP Biggrin Looove that your hubby is "nesting." My DH is nesting already for the new baby Wink He's currently shampooing the carpets as I type.

Def sounds mucous pluggish! Means things are happening, but I've heard that it could be still a while before anything baby like happens. But it si exciting to know that the end is in sight!!
Oh and my hubby is seriously nesting too! LOL

It was short lived Nidia lol I think he's over it now, but at least he packed his bag. Last time w/ dd my water broke at 5:22 am and I was waiting on HIM to pack his bag!

I totally agree with this. And you'll have more energy to do it. Smile

Good thing he's packed. HAHA. Waiting on him? HAHA. I didn't have lotion when I went into labor with Riley and really wanted his dad to give a massage for coping... So I made him drive me to walmart to get stuff.. haha

I fully suggest stopping at McD's on the way! Lol Chicken broth only SUCKED!

On the MP, yup - sounds about right! I had some brown tinge to it in the beginning but it soon went colorless but the CM was still very much there. Getting closer! :clappy:

Good luck! I've been losing pretty large chunks of plug for the last week and a half now. It has never been linked to me going into labor though, booo. Mine usually just gets stirred up, like when the doc does cervix checks and stuff, then it comes out in big globs the next day.

that might of been all it was then, cause I had just gone to the dr the day before Sad

So since I have no cervix length left and am 3cm 70% effaced, is it safe to say I won't lose a plug?

Wow, Christine! Yeah, I'm guessing you'll just be in labor of have your water break or something. Wink

Callie - That is my nightmare!! Actually, any sort of start of labor at work makes me nervous now that I work an hour away from home and from my hospital. At least if my water breaks at work, I work in a pharmacy.. I can go grab some Depends or something, LOL. Grab some underpads for the seat of my car and I'll be good to go. I'm afraid of crying wolf, so I'm scared I'll wake up a little crampy some morning (not uncommon for me lately), then those crampy feelings will turn into full-blown labor while I'm at work... Then it's like, "How the heck do I get to the hospital??" I can't exactly wait an hour for DH to come pick me up, then another hour to drive to the hospital (especially with my GBS+ status, I don't want to put off the antibiotics that long, particularly if my water breaks). My parents live a little closer.. They could likely be to me within 35 minutes or so, then the hour drive to the hospital. Orrrr... The quickest way, of course, would be to drive myself... LOL. I could pull it off if I were able to recognize early labor soon enough, but I'm afraid it will be too late and too active of labor before I decide to throw in the towel at work. Soooo... Please don't let me go into labor at work! Hahaha...

I'm so scared of my water breaking in public! We go to a homeschool co-op every Thursday and it's about 40 min from where I live and I live an hour away from my hospital so total of 1 hour 40 ish min I always think what if my water breaks here! I figured I would drive myself too lol I find myself always thinking the "what if" plan. but I'm sure he's never coming out... lol

Since the huge water breaking situation is all I know that is how I imagine it this time too. I have extra pants in my office and in the car, under pads ("chucks") I'm "borrowing" from the hospital on my furniture, car seat, and bed. One nice thing about it is, there is no wondering if it's time to go to the hospital. And if it happens out of the blue like it did for me, you would probably be able drive yourself before the labor was too intense if you left right away. You can always drive as far as you can with DH on his way from home and if you have to stop at least that would save a little driving time and he could pick you up half way...how did people go into labor before cell phones?!?!

I was in the office waiting for the dr sporting my nice tissue dress they give ya.. and kept thinking...hhmmm what if my water breaks right now? Can't very well go out in the hall w/ my goods showing?! Then I thought well I guess I could use my cell phone to call the office and tell them ROFL
