Thread: Babies R Us Trade-In Event...

So we brought DD's 10 year old Pack N Play into Babies R Us today and left with this... We're pretty excited to have saved $65 on it!!!!

Awesome! I am thinking about taking in an old britax carseat someone gave me and I never liked (and I am sure it is expired at this point) to get this: Evenflo Symphony 65 Ava Convertible Car Seat - Evenflo - Babies "R" Us

It matches DS carseat only in girly colors. I didn't keep Jack in the infant carseat more than a few months and I am sure I will do the same this time. I hate lugging that thing around and just put the baby in the moby instead, especially while shopping.

I LOVE my girly car seats...that said, if I have a boy this time I might think twice about that! HA HA!

Dude, I remember with DS that I was so disappointed in the lack of cute boy clothes, cloth diapers, and themed items. Now that I am on the other side I am thinking all the boy stuff looks cuter, ha ha. I think that all the companies finally realized they needed cute boy stuff and they over did it. Looking at cloth diapers today I noticed there were only a couple of girl patterns or colors but tons of boy colors. Although I think it might all be in my head Ha!

Great deal! I thought about taking something in but I can't seem to part with anything. I want to keep it all. lol. I always get the 20% off coupons so if I make a big purchase I'll just use that.

As for the boy/girl stuff...I was always loving the girl stuff until I found out DD was a girl. Then I'd see cute boy stuff! Picking out crib bedding I often leaned towards the boy stuff after I KNEW she was a girl! Weird, right? I'm so in love with all the robot and monster themed stuff for boys. On the whole though, I still have a major weakness for girly stuff. If I have a second girl, it will be crazy because I won't hold back on buying stuff for DD knowing it will go through TWO kids. :P

Yay for trade in! I need a new vibrating chair as our last ones motor finally burned out (not to mention poor DS had to suffer with a pink seat...oh well). Definitely need to get a new one
