Awesome! I am thinking about taking in an old britax carseat someone gave me and I never liked (and I am sure it is expired at this point) to get this: Evenflo Symphony 65 Ava Convertible Car Seat - Evenflo - Babies "R" Us

It matches DS carseat only in girly colors. I didn't keep Jack in the infant carseat more than a few months and I am sure I will do the same this time. I hate lugging that thing around and just put the baby in the moby instead, especially while shopping.

Dude, I remember with DS that I was so disappointed in the lack of cute boy clothes, cloth diapers, and themed items. Now that I am on the other side I am thinking all the boy stuff looks cuter, ha ha. I think that all the companies finally realized they needed cute boy stuff and they over did it. Looking at cloth diapers today I noticed there were only a couple of girl patterns or colors but tons of boy colors. Although I think it might all be in my head Wink Ha!

Great deal! I thought about taking something in but I can't seem to part with anything. I want to keep it all. lol. I always get the 20% off coupons so if I make a big purchase I'll just use that.

Oh, if you need help finding cute girly cloth diapers...let me know. I have a LOT of girly ones. Oopsies! Blum 3

As for the boy/girl stuff...I was always loving the girl stuff until I found out DD was a girl. Then I'd see cute boy stuff! Picking out crib bedding I often leaned towards the boy stuff after I KNEW she was a girl! Weird, right? I'm so in love with all the robot and monster themed stuff for boys. On the whole though, I still have a major weakness for girly stuff. If I have a second girl, it will be crazy because I won't hold back on buying stuff for DD knowing it will go through TWO kids. Yay for trade in! I need a new vibrating chair as our last ones motor finally burned out (not to mention poor DS had to suffer with a pink seat...oh well). Definitely need to get a new one

I already got a new vibrating seat because I had gotten rid of our old pink one. I had some credit with a local consignment shop so I got this one. She had it listed for $6 but I got it for free since I had credit. It's pretty cute I think!

I had this one with DD. Sweet too!

If I have a boy this time he will be thankful I didn't keep the pink one. Blum 3 I was the younger sibling to an older brother so I know what it's like to have hand-me-downs. People always thought I was a boy. Sad

I know, I'm totally a deal shopper. I got a $160 bassinet the other day for $40! Obviously it's used but everything works on it. The reason why I got rid of a bunch of the stuff from when DD was a baby is because I sold them for what I paid...and we needed money. No point storing a swing for 2.5+ years when you can sell it for what you paid for it. Also, I sort of wanted a reason to have to buy new stuff. I knew DH wouldn't go for it if I kept the stuff. We used to get them in the mail all the time on their ads. I am hoping now that I started a registry they will start sending them again.

I think I need to get me one of those for when I come to the US in March. I really want a stroller. Is the 20% off anything? Sale stuff too?

lol.. Probably not. I got rid of most of DD's stuff when she was around 6-7 simply because I was convinced I was never going to get married or have another kid.. so I let it all go to good will.

None the less, I'm glad we did cuz we get to start over with new stuff, buying the things we both want. Biggrin

The 20% off is off anything baby related. BUT, there are exclusions like nothing britax blah blah blah. Lots of fine print, but most things are included.

If you have a Buy Buy Baby nearby (not sure where they are located around the country...) you can use the Bed Bath and Beyond unexpired 20% OFF coupons too...
I will be getting a new stroller hopefully this time around but want to try selling my double and single first and see what I can get for them.

Buying new stuff is GREAT. There are so many great new prints and products out since DD was born almost 3 years ago!

We're flying into Atlanta then going to Savannah and then to Myrtle Beach. Not sure where Buy Buy Baby stores are. Are they cheaper? I don't really know about your stores so much! I'm thinking of getting the Chicco Liteway stroller. DD can use it on the trip and then we'll have it for baby. We have a BOB but it's so big to travel with and we've NEVER had a good lightweight stroller. I hear these ones are decent.

I usually get 20% off coupons in the ad they send. I signed up for thier rewards membership so they also give out free reward dollars as well. Plus, when you shop there they usually give you 20% off for the next month with the receipt.

I think updating baby stuff is a good idea! There are so many recalls out there and unsafe items that thee end up improving that I think it's alot safer! I got a newer swing and I just bought a crib last year for DS2 so that stuff is good. I will need to find a new carseat. I also need a glider and those are super expensives! You can hardly find them used because no one ever gets rid of them because they are the best! lol

The glider chairs with the matching ottoman? I bought one at a garage sale a couple months ago for like $35 bucks. Biggrin

We bought an awesome rocker recliner when I was pg with DD. I got mega obsessed with having a good nursing chair. Now it's DH's chair in our family room. LMAO...guess I'm taking it back! Blum 3

I love buying "new" things too! I have some seats still but the cover is so bold and ugly to me now I want a new one! But the frame is fine so maybe I can just find a different cover... I haven't really checked consignment for stuff like that lately. I need to go revisit that!

I got Emeline's car seat today! It is pretty and pink! LOL I was a little disappointed that the LX seat did not have sure latch, but the DLX models that have surelatch are not available in girl colors. So yes, I chose vanity over ease of use. Biggrin
