Contractions

So I've been having some today.. nothing worth a dang though Lol But I do have to say that I know they are coming because they start as a hot flash. That hot flash doesn't go away until the contraction is over..

Can't say I've ever experienced this before.. anyone else ever dealt with the hot flash stuff before??

Oh yes, hot flash or sort of a shortness of breath? Starts in my chest. At least you are in the 36 week safe zone! It is starting to get exciting around here!!! Now if only Jessica would have that baby, LOL

It is not actually that odd. The nurse I had (each of my 3 visits, lol) said that a lot of woman say they get this. You are in good company! Wink

That's cool to know!! When I mentioned it to the NST nurse, she didn't make it sound like it was common.

But she said she did hear of throbbing in the back of the head when heartburn hits that "5-10 second burning point". lol.. Makes me itch it burns so bad sometimes.

With DD I never really got to that point where I wanted her out. She was born by scheduled c-section 10 days before my due date. I just figured she was easier to deal with on the inside than out. LOL. This time I'm already feeling done. I hate not being able to do stuff for my family...or being in pain if/when I do stuff I probably shouldn't have. I guess I need this time to learn to let go of the reigns a little with DD. I'm trying to do less micro-managing of her relationship with DH (per his request). It's so hard to keep my mouth shut.

I've been having bad indigestion the last few nights but it's normally after dinner. SO annoying. Sad *hugs*

Ugh! I would hope that banana would help!

While I was laying in bed burping the other day DD helped feed me TUMS. LOL. So cute and helpful!
