    Default Contractions?

Sounds silly to ask since this is my 3rd baby but I really don't know what to watch for because with DS1 my water broke first and then I had really heavy bad contractions, and DS2 was induced so those were pretty intense too.
I have never really had BH contractions before but now I think I am. My uterus tightens and then releases. I also have had a lot of cramping down low, not sure if it's contractions or just a cramping feeling like the baby putting pressure down there or something.
The OB told me to call if I felt any cramping, but I really don't think I am in labor, so I don't really feel the need, but then again I have a feeling this baby is just going to fall out of me.

If you don't feel like you are in labor, I bet you aren't. But that being said, I am in the same boat. I am having so many pains and cramping and weird contractions and I don't know what is real and what is not. I would say just listen to your body. If things get painful or consistent I would call just to see what the doctor says.

I have them on and off but not consistent to say its labor. That being said I've had diarrhea the past two days. My body is gearing up. My boy will be born so very soon. Yey!!

I'm also on the fence about real vs fake contractions. Been having so many, some timeable, some not, some more painful than ever before... but I just second guess myself. With my first son, the first indication of labor was my water breaking. Made it SO much easier to know
I'm guessing we'll really know when it's time... i hope...

I had lots of BHs on Friday. Ok, maybe 5 or 6 that I noticed...but that was a lot for me. I think they were BH but I'm like you, I don't really know. I never had any contractions at all with DD! I haven't had cramping yet but if your wee one's head is super low, that's probably the reason for that.

Good to know that I'm not the only one that doesn't know what contractions are real or not. I guess we will find out soon enough! Hopefully we all make it to the hospital/birthcenters!

Heck, I don't even know if I have contractions. Last time I didn't know until they were intense...from zero to 60. The sensation is just too vague for me to notice, I think. When I try to notice, I feel like I'm just convincing myself that I feel something, but I don't actually.
