A conversation with my hubby...

More contractions today... wonder if they are doing anything. I'll find out Friday!

We shall see. I'm anxious for your pain and suffering to end... and for our son to come into the real world. Smile

That's one of the sweetest things you've said in a while.. thank you so much for that. Smile Sometimes I feel so alone.. like it's never going to end but I know it's literally just days away.. and it will be worth EVERYTHING.. the heartburn, tinkles every hour.. insomnia (which that won't end for another almost 2 years lol)

He'll be here before we know it. We'll be parents to two kids.. and you'll have your first natural born child!! How crazy is that!?!?! Almost 44 years.. but he's coming! Smile

It's an amazing feeling. I know I don't show it (mostly because I don't know how), but I'm really exited to share this with you, baby. We already have so much, and this will be the icing on the cake.

 He has no idea how much I appreciate his words right now...

I think you guys know but just in case not, DH has textbook Aspergers.. he doesn't know how to show emotion.. it's just not a gene he was born with so reading him is a challenge.. knowing how he feels about something is very difficult. He just doesn't "do" emotion. So for him to say this is a HUGE deal for me.

Like, HUGE huge. Smile

Awwwww how sweet! I had a similar convo with my DH today too, but more about his anger issues and lack there of in the last few months. He has been incredibly patient and we had a sweet convo about it through texts. Biggrin

OMG that was SO stinkin' sweet. Thanks for sharing it with us. I'm so happy for you two!

Incidentally, my daughter started sleeping through the night for good right before she turned 1...and before that she was only up once or twice for months...WAY less than I'm currently up at night. LOL. So it might not be so bad. Biggrin

My Husband is also an Aspie and I felt alone with my pregnancies. He did not even want to be at the delivery but was. When Robbie was born he cried which set me off even more. So I totally get where you are coming from.

That's really sweet of him! I'm glad he told you that! It makes all the difference in the world to a pregnant lady!
My DH is so excited to meet our baby and tells me how much I'm glowing and how great of mother I am, sometimes I think he is full of it but I know I should appreciate it more. It does make everything you are doing worth it!
