:clappy: Yay for every 2 weeks! Yes, the note from the nurse said I will start them in week 32 and do them 2x a week.. I'm sure by then I'll be ready for 2, 30-minute naps. So what happens if he's not moving as much as they think he should be?
I had to go off of any kind of pasta, sweet, or bread altogether. I am betting yours will not be as severe as mine, but do those things one at a time and in very controlled portions til you know how you react.
The NST is a test where you will sit in a recliner or something similar and they will put the monitor belt on your stomach. They will just record the baby's movements for 20-30 min. They want to make sure that the baby is moving ok and not in any distress. There is some talk about your placenta dying faster with GD, but that is very rare and I have read research that says it is not true. You will learn a lot from the ladies on the support board. I have not heard about the amniotic fluid and I think the NSTs with DS were a little overboard, but I got a 30 minute nap twice a week, lol. I don't start them til 32 weeks so I have about 6 weeks. I am on every 2 week appointments already though.
