Oh, and last time I didn't get any NSTs, extra appointments, ultrasounds or anything...they never checked DDs size or anything except to measure my fundal height. I actually would like to have something extra like those things ...it would feel like a little reward to hear the HB some. I am still on monthly visits too...next on March 4 which will be 30 weeks when I suspect I'll change to every two weeks which, I think is what happens in all pregnancies. I do have a nurse only visit tomorrow for Rhogam, but that will just be walk in, get a shot in the *** and leave.
I think I'll be the same way with the placenta, too! Get the hell out!
So I didn't get home until late last night and crashed hard so I didn't get back online.. Here's what I get to work with..
Bfast = 30-35g
Snack = 30g
Lunch = 60g
Snack = 15g
Dinner = 60g
Snack = 15g with an added protein..
Up a little earlier that usual this morning to see how well I can do on day one's planning..

Callie, you sound like me.. that would so be me.. I plan, plan, plan.. and research, research, research. I hope I don't have to do that but there's always a chance. I am so hating tomorrow.. I'm stressing about the glucose test when really, I shouldn't! I'm also stressing about the scale. Why o why do I have to do awful during the weekends!??! Then it's hard for me to get back on track.

Today I had Maltomeal with 1/2 c. 2% milk and splenda.. It was delish!
Lunch I'm struggling with.. I have my fast food thingy that I could go get a double cheeseburger from McD's for 35ish carbs.. and then a small french fry.. but that would put me over by 3..
Or I could do chicken nuggets.. which is only 18 carbs for a 6-pc. and a small fry and have some left over for dipping sauce.. all with a diet dr. pepper..
Or I could just eat what I brought - but it's sooo boring and not enough carbs.
This might take a day to get sorted out. lol..

My lunch was so low because I tried to eat the sandwhich I brought but the bread was just too dry I guess I'm just a Wonder bread girl at heart.,. I haven't found one that is as soft and gooey so I've stayed away from bread! So yeah, I only ate 1/3 of my sandwhich..
Now for dinner.. Im craving a philly steak but not the bun.. just the inside contents.. onions, meat and cheese.. which is like 3 carbs MAX.. And I'm supposed to get 60.
This is crazy! lol..
Adriana, what have your blood sugars been after your meals? Those are pretty generous carb portions you are allowed, I think. Well, they are the same as my max in the range they give me, but I, by no means use them all each meal. Usually just breakfast and snacks.
All values well within in range today and this is what I ate:
Breakfast: cottage cheese, toaster streudel, water - 29 grams
Snack: nature Valley protein granola bar, water - 14 g
Lunch: roast beef sandwhich, 3 mozzarella sticks, diet coke - 40 or 45 g
Snack: skipped today SO BUSY at work
Dinner: chicken/quinoa/zucchini/onion dish, one Oreo with DD - 35 or 40 g
Now, I'm starving again since I eat dinner early with DD, but I'm going to clean up the kitchen and shower before my bedtime snack....cereal? Probably! I looove cereal. (kashi protein cereal is pretty good)
Fasting this AM was high = 99 (Maybe cuz I had a not so good dinner last night? )
2 hours after bfast was 91 (should be under 120)
2 hours after lunch was 99 (should be under 120)
I just had dinner so I take that reading at 8:50..
So what determines what I get? She said she did a calculation but said we may need to modify if I get hungry.. which I did after the snack. But I didn't have much protein at all today so I think I was just straight up HUNGRY!!

philly steak and cheese = 3 <-- conservative number
* meat said 0 carbs.. cheese said less than 1, onion was about 1-2
