Yesterday looked good Adriana! I had a good day too (minus fasting of course since even with my insulin it is not budging) I had a 108 for breakfast, 111 for lunch, and 103 for dinner.

I had DH buy me two mcDoubles last night on his way home from work (at 10pm). I was craving junk. I took the patties off of one and stuck it on the other burger. So, I had a quadruple burger, lol. It was heavenly. And my fasting this morning was 112 which is one of my lower numbers for fasting. If I up my insulin 5-10 points and eat burgers before I go to bed, you think I could get it under 100? LOL

    So question..

They say they want my fasting under 90. Which I'm seeing just isn't gonna happen.. Is it really that bad being low 100's?

Do you KNOW how good McDonalds burgers sound right now????????? I can see 4 patties on one bun.. that's one heck of a burger, mama!!

I wouldn't think low 100's is that bad, but they said they wanted mine under 95. However, when I saw the specialist on Monday, she said as long as they are under 100 she is fine. I would think as long as they are not consistently over 100 you should be fine.

Just talked to DH who has a long break for lunch today - I'm thinking "oh cool, he's calling because he wants to bring me something good to eat." Nope, just to say hi and let me know HE is going out to eat since he didn't pack a lunch. I, on the other hand, have to eat my home made salad and boiled egg. blech. Unfair *pouting*

Hey GD mamas - How is everyone doing??

Since my last Appt my Fasting readings have been -
    121
    122
    103
    109
    118
    110
    107
    101
    104
    123
    101

2 hours post breakfast have been -
    138
    128
    102
    101
    139
    135
    142
    124
    184
    103
    116
    119

    2 hours post lunch -
    101
    115
    118
    157
    111
    97
    114
    94
    130
    117
    107

And dinners - which I don't get to take much because I eat SO late and am not up 2 hours after I eat..
210 (I totally know why this was so high.. and it's all my fault )
    104
    168
    135

So not too horrific.. My next appt is Friday so we'll see what she thinks! I've gotten into a cycle of eating just some core foods that my body seems to be ok with.. not too much experimenting anymore. Honestly, I'm not too sure I'll go back to eating the old way! My desserts are FAR limited for me right now.. which is showing to be a good thing, I think. And my soda pop intake has all but vanished! I think I've had 50 ounces since I started my new eating regimine.. including at my baby shower! MUCH healthier for me.

    How's everyone else doing?

    I will play:
Fastings for the last week or two:
    112
    117
    109
    115
    121
    107
    118
    118

    85
    Breakfast:
    147
    121
    138

    114
    104
    89
    140@1hr
    103
    105
    116
    Lunch:
    110
    105
    120
    122
    102
    108
    Dinner:
    134
    131
    121
    123
    123
    131

    116
    107
    124

The first few readings in each category was from before I went into preterm labor, then the rest are after. It is interesting how my breakfast and lunch stabilized as if my body knew there was something wrong. My dinners have been a little high though. I will have to reign those back in. I *may* have been cheating with my afternoon snacks. I think the stress of school was playing a part as well.

I also cannot get my fasting under 100 unless I have a 4am snack, so I think I will stick with that. I just eat a string cheese when I get up to potty so no big deal but it drops my number a good 10-20 points.
