    Default Early gender scans!

I was going to try to resist the urge this time, but I might do it again. I was just looking at their website and they've changed it just a tad. When I went with DS2, they offered money back guarantee for correct gender at 15 weeks. Well, they talked me into coming in at 14w2d, and they were correct. Now, they've changed to money back guarantee for correct gender at 14 weeks. That's only 2 weeks away! So I was looking at my work schedule, and I'm off the 13th and the 16th. Both will be past 14 weeks... I'm seriously considering doing it. It kinda takes away from the "big" u/s at the OB's office, but at the same time, it's nice to have that appointment just for the extra confirmation. We shall see... I'll let you all know if I decide to do it!

I can do it at 16 weeks.. I think I want to do it but I'll be 16 weeks on the 28th which is my DH's birthday! So we will probably do it when I'm 17 weeks so my DH can have his day/weekend He said he woudn't mind doing it on his birthday weekend but I want to put more emphasis on him than on baby that weekend.

Wow.. can't believe we are getting closer to finding out!!

I did an early gender scan last time too, but they wouldn't see me until 17 weeks. I have heard you can tell as early as 14 weeks but it's not as accurrate because their parts are just starting to pop out. I would just be upset if they told me one gender and it's another.
Let us know what you decide. Can't believe all you guys will be finding out the gender soon!

Obviously, like you guys, I'm anxious to find out gender, but I'm trying to relish in all things exciting about pregnancy...and I think the mystery is kind of fun. Once you know the gender you can't un-know it so I'm ok with waiting a bit. Now, on the other hand I will find out at my anatomy scan. There is NO WAY I could stay on team green until delivery! Haha, I'm so fickle

Unless you're like my friend from one of the other boards... She was told at her big u/s that she was having a girl... On birthday, out popped a boy!!

I think I'm going to let DH decide if we do it. It was really fun last time... They have a big room that holds like 20+ people, so you can bring whoever you want with you, and we didn't pay for the 3D part, but the lady still switched it into 3D and let us watch for a while which was AMAZING, and she gave us a few pics of that. So I'd be happy to do it again, but there's something exciting about the waiting and anticipation too. I just really would like to know before Christmas... I know my whole family will be asking, and so it will be fun if we have that news to share.

As for the accuracy, they don't guess. If they can't tell, they let you come back for free a little later. If they tell you one and it's wrong, they give you your money back... I think I'd be okay with that because I honestly don't care either way whether it's a boy or a girl. I just want to know! It's funny... I either want to be team green, or I want to know like NOW. No happy medium for me, haha.

Weeeeee! So exciting!!!! I'm going to TRY to not find out this time...so as to have a different birth experience...more excitement! LOL. With DD we found out at 13 weeks when we got our CVS results...and part of me is tempted to do that again. It's SO easy and 100% accurate. LOL....but part of me wants the big reveal on the day of...so hard!

Make sure you let us know what you decide. Either way it's so fun to find out which team you'll be on!

I know, it's such a hard choice. There is still a large part of me that has always wanted the "team green" experience... Who knows, hahaha...

That was my thing too. I always thought I'd be the type of team green person...but then with DD it was SO easy to find out and I caved. I was glad I did though because I always wanted a daughter and enjoyed planning her room and stuff.

This time it's different. I honestly don't care which sex we get...and there is no bedroom to plan...most of the stuff is bought. I thought I'd get a few newborn boy things just in case...and I'm set for girl stuff. Not much planning is required this time as we have most everything already!

It's funny, I never thought in a million years I would not find out the gender.... and here I am baby #3 and I'm not finding out. I don't know why I'm not as anxious this time for some reason, and I can't imagine how amazing it will be to have DH announce what we had. That's what is keeping me team green.
