    Default Exercise?

Anyone start exercising yet? What are you doing? How's it going?

I've started the MuTu program by Wendy Powell. It is specifically designed for the post-partum mommy and addresses diastasis recti (tummy muscles that are still separated) which I've had since after DD1was born and never was able to fix on my own. Officially 3 days in and it's going well so far. It seems excessively easy, but I can feel it in my muscles this morning! I'm used to intense exercise so, this very easy, very simple program didn't seem like it would do anything...I'm so surprised I feel a bit sore! It must be working!

Yes, elliptical only so far but I'm definitely needing to do some other tummy exercises!

Are your abs back together? If not, most ab exercises aren't good to do - this is news to me! This includes crunches, planks, scissors,bicycles...pretty much everything I knew to do, in fact, these can make the pooch worse! Who knew??

This link has some good exercises for bringing your abs back together. Simply flexing them can help too.

I'm already doing light weight lifting and riding my spin bike. I exercised up until birth so my doc basically just said whatever I'm comfortable with as long as its low impact. I'm dying to go for a run though!!

No but I need to. Does cleaning while wearing a baby count?

Hi Ladies...sorry I know I'm not too active on the boards, 4 kids keep me busy!!!
Firstly great link I'm going to add this to my workout routine!! Thank you!!!

I have been working out since 3 weeks after having the baby. I started out with walking then onto power walking with weighted hand gloves. Once I felt comfortable I started to do my workout DVD's. Starting with Leslie Sanson Walk in Home program and slowly moving up to Turbo Jam & Jillian 30 day shred. Now I am back to kickboxing three days a week, jogging 2-3 days a week.
I didn't work out while I was pregnant but did prior to my pregnancy. I love to be fit but not just for the weight but for the energy!
I need all I can get to keep up with my crew
Tummy workouts are tough, I try not to do too many floor routines as they will "round" your abs and give you that pouchy look. I do like to use an exercise ball or "standing abb" routines.
I haven't lost all my baby weight, I have about 20 lbs to go however I'm trying not to focus on the scale but the way I feel.
My mommy pouch was hard earned and even harder to lose so I guess I will hold onto it a little longer )))

No matter what your all beautiful mommies!!!
