that if you listen to calm music, like jazz, classical, anything more soothing baby will be more relaxed and calm once baby is born. But if you listen to say hard rock, metal, rap, anything really upbeat baby will be more wild, etc. What do you think about this? Any experience with your other children?
With DS, I listened to a variety of music and he seemed ok. But with this pregnancy I definitely listen to a lot calmer music.. so I hope baby is a calm one Although this baby is more active than DS was but that could also be bc with DS I was a little heavier and had lots of fluid and his movements weren't as noticeable.
I have seen a study on this. I don't think it affects baby when they are born, but I do believe it affects them when they are in the womb. I think calming music keeps stress levels down for mom which in turn keeps baby happy. I haven't been listening to much music lately but definitely need to start. DH likes smooth jazz so maybe I'll turn that on more. I know when I sing to DS2 at night, baby kicks me alot! lol
Nidia- This might be a dumb question but did you find out the gender of your baby? I was on vacation and wasn't sure if I missed the announcement or if you were just holding out on us! ;oP
I did Samantha.. Dec. the umm 8th but I haven't announced it yet. I had this awesome idea of making Christmas cards and the shoot never worked out so I'm waiting til Jan. the 17th which is my next appt and I'll get good pics of baby to post with it!
No clue but I will say this.. if that's true, my child will never hold a relationship after a break up because they are "never ever ever get-ting baaack together!"
OMG Taylor Swift ROCKS!!!
Lol.. Taylor Swift is cute!
YOU SHOULD TOTALLY OPEN IT!! Pleaseeeeeeeeeeee.. lol
Adriana, I have a love-hate relationship with that song. I hate the song, but EVERYTIME it comes on the radio, I find myself singing to it. And I might tap my foot. And bang on the steering wheel.
I listen to a lot of country.. I posted about this yesterday in April but, I was singing yesterday and baby was going wild. Probably saying pleeEASE shut up! LOL
