We are doing pretty good! Hoping to get into a bed time routine soon. I go back July 1st and I hope thee last few weeks slow down bc they are flying right now!!

Lucas has his 1 month appt tomorrow and I go to the doctor tomorrow too. Hope they clear me to exercise but I'm getting some discharge from my incision. A little and that tells me it's not fully healed yet. There's just a small spot. Hope it heals soon. I'm ready to start exercising again!!

Hey Nidia, these days are flying by aren't they? It's crazysauce. I also hope to get into a decent bed routine soon. When will you start to do this? I'd like to try a method besides CIO.

Hope you have a good appointment tomorrow and get cleared for exercise. My 6 week pp appointment is Monday. I'm still having issues down there, so I'm eager to get that checked out. I'd like to go swimming at some point this summer. You can't do anything in Texas during the summer besides swim. It's already getting into the upper 90's, not long before the 100's start rolling in.

I hope tomorrow goes well and I get cleared soon! I hope Monday goes well for you too Smile

It's in the 90s here but the heat index was 192 today. Yikes!

Elizabeth, I was born and raised in North Dallas!

Maddie, I've been to Denver and Colorado Springs before and I can't believe it's that hot. I went in July and it was nice!

We're doing great here... finally!
Took a while to figure out the feeding thing. I had a really hard time with the nursing and finally stopped after 3 weeks of misery. Keren needed Alimentum (we eventually discovered) and is now on Zantac too and we are both SO much happier Smile She is getting into a bit of a routine. Falls asleep at about 10pm and wakes up at 2ish to eat and then back to sleep until 6ish... works for now and is so much better than my boys ever were at this stage!

I go back to work July 2 and Keren starts in daycare then. I'm sending her to the same daycare my boys went to and they are wonderful and will definitley make it easier leaving her with people I know (same teachers are there since my boys.

I go for my 6 week check on Monday and am looking fwd to the all clear to work out and get back to myself again!
We go for Keren's 2 month check July 12 (and start with the shots Sad - she is definitely chunking up though - weighed her yesterday and she is up to 8lb 10oz!

That's the eastern side of Colorado. It's wayyy cooler there. I love it over there. But I live on the other side of the state... and it is NOTHING like Denver or CO Springs. CO Springs has a fire right now. Since tuesday it has taken 8,500 acres.

Sarah is already 9lbs 4oz!!! I have a massive letdown. She eats at least every 2 hours. Not so good at sleeping at night yet. Hardest part is figuring out how to take care of 3 kids all at the same time. Only taken them to the park and even that is a process. Good thing I have a babysitter that helps out during the day so I can still get things done. Good news is I feel back to myself and only cry when I try to get all 3 kids in the car.lol

Way to go, Sarah! Growing like a weed Smile How often is she waking at night, Samantha? We have good days and he sleeps a 4 hour stretch but usually just a 3 lol which turns more into a 2.5 and a 3.5 stretch.

I'd take 3 hours! Lol. She likes to wake every 1 1/2-2 hours to eat! Ahhh! Then sometimes she likes to stay awake for a couple hours. None of my kids were good sleepers so I won't hold my breath that this time will be different. Sigh

Just a word on the cord... With my first we used the alcohol pads (were told to use them) and that silly cord got all nasty and took forever to fall off (because it wouldn't dry up). When it did fall off it was bloody. When we had my second they said, they don't recommend using the alcohol anymore. Just leave the thing alone. The cord dried up, and fell off within 5 days!! No issues what so ever. We have not used alcohol since, and the cord has always dried up in about a weeks time and fallen off without issue (right around 1 week).

If I was going to have baby #3 (which we don't plan on) I would do leave that thing alone! That being said my babies son was 3 weeks old and she hasn't been told to clean it and he still had it. She asked about it and was told to clean it so she did and it fell off within a few days. So weird!
