Thread: Holy Nausea Batman!

Woke up to seriously bad nausea this morning. Ugh. Gagging when I brush my teeth kinda nausea. So gross Hoping doc can help me out with this tomorrow because I can't do this for weeks on end.
Waaay worse than my pregnancies with my boys. Wondering if this is a different gender??!

I had terrible nausea with my son, but who knows. My neighbor/friend had a totally different pregnancy experiences and ended up with boys both times. Are you hoping for a girl?

Secretly hoping for a girl but will obviously be thrilled with a healthy baby! And I know we're good at the boy thing...
Just thought that my last 2 pregs were so similar and this one is seeming to be different. Guess we'll wait and see

Hope you feel better! I had 2 totally different pregnancies last time and got 2 boys! I'm secretly hoping for a girl too but know it's going to be a boy!!!! Love boys!!

My nausea thread was named the exact same thing! I know what you're going through, too.. the toothbrush kind is the worst!!! Hope it goes away quickly, girl!!

Anyoe tried the SeaBands? Do they help at all?

I had two very, very different pregnancy experiences with my two babies and ended up with both boys. My first, I was extremely nauseated and exhausted for about 10 weeks of my pregnancy. With the second, I had hardly any nausea or fatigue whatsoever. This time around is definitely more like my first baby. Very nauseated and exhausted. I have no clue on gender, though. It's our last baby, so it would be nice for it to be a girl just to have some of each, but I'm honestly just going to be overjoyed if the baby comes out happy and healthy. I adore my boys, and I know I'd adore a 3rd one... And I wouldn't have to buy any new clothes, hahah.

I haven't tried seabands, but I talked to my nurse about nausea on Friday. I wanted them to call me in some zofran in case it got really bad this weekend or monday morning. I'll use the zofran if it gets really bad or if I start throwing up, but in the meantime, she recommended vitamin b6 plus pepcid in the morning and evening. I was already taking b6, but adding on the pepcid does seem to help some. Also eating and drinking smaller amounts more frequently as opposed to downing a bottle of water and a big meal a few times a day.

Thanks! Will get me some B6. Haven't been able to stomach my prenatals for a few days now... will discuss with my doc tomorrow. May get some zofran just to have while we're on vacation incase it gets really bad. We're going to be pretty far away from home and would hate to be stuck with nothing

I haven't tried them but have heard mixed things about them... Where do you get them?
